The B-tiers only realized it now. The cannons were not only aiming outside but were pointing inward too.

More so, the grade of the energy cannons was similar to that of the Bei Hua—B-tier energy cannon.

In other words, one blast of this cannon was sufficient to put down a B-tier mutated beast, not to mention its effectiveness against apt.i.tude users.

Silver radiance hovered around Bai Li. The B-tiers recognized the radiance to be spatial runes.

They knew because she had used the same runes to teleport them a thousand meters away from the Cinder Pine in the previous battle.

If Qin Feng were to really open fire, he and Bai Li could easily escape the room, while the others would have to sustain the merciless cannon blasts.

The situation was tense but restrained at the same time.

One of the B-tiers bellowed, “Qin Feng, are you sure you want to make all of us your enemy? You are just a C-tier. You better watch your appet.i.te. Don’t overestimate yourself.”

Qin Feng refuted, “What’s wrong with having a big appet.i.te? That’s none of your business. I will share my gain where I see fit. But I won’t allow anyone to rob what’s rightfully mine!”

Bai Li chipped in too. “I have never seen someone as thick as you guys. Being righteous and all that. In the end, you are just trying to take advantage of my hubby. Don’t you guys know shame?”

“What’s wrong with that? I will just be blunt with you. This newly discovered dimension doesn’t belong to you alone, Qin Feng.”

“That’s right. Even if you wish to hog it, you better have enough in the tank to do so.”

“Qin Feng, don’t forget that you are not in this all by yourself. You are still a part of the Human Alliance. We won’t hurt you but if you insist on such bullish behavior, we would join up and punish your organization. All goods and weapons from Fengli will be boycotted and you will then know how unwise it is to go against the Human Alliance!”

“Yeah! It’s stupid to offend so many of us at once!”

They seemed to be persuading Qin Feng but were really just threatening Qin Feng to abide. They were testing Qin Feng’s borderline.

Qin Feng would not listen to them and refuted them one by one.

“Stop worrying about my tank. You should measure your own first.”

“Boycott my organization? You few clowns?”

“Unwise? If I don’t do as told, then I am stupid? You think too highly of your own opinion!”

Qin Feng seldom talked much. A lot of people who had crossed paths with him usually thought of him as a quiet and cold person.

But today, he rose above the B-tiers all by himself, giving them t.i.t for tat without losing any ground. In fact, his stance slightly overshadowed the eight apt.i.tude users.

You can forget about collaboration if you can’t defeat me within 100 rounds.”

This was the biggest back down Qin Feng was willing to make after such a lengthy discussion.

The B-tiers were spirited when they heard that. Three persons answered the call instinctively.

“Great, we were waiting for you to say this.”

“Qin Feng, you are looking for trouble!”

“Don’t beg when the time comes.”

The remaining users were infuriated too. But soon, a bad feeling crossed their minds before they were about to say the same thing.

The grin on Qin Feng’s mouth confirmed their worries. It did not last long on his face.

“If that is so, I will take it as a yes. The conversation just now has been recorded. I will submit it to the Human Alliance and ask them to be the judge. I also welcome whoever else wants to answer the challenge.” He stood up after finished talking. “Now, please leave the city at once.”

The B-tiers finally realized they had been tricked.

Qin Feng was playing them for two hours and refused to share the profit no matter what. He did that on purpose to exhaust their patience.

As such, when he suddenly suggested a way in which they could collaborate, these people subconsciously thought that Qin Feng had softened his stance.

Most importantly, Qin Feng had said it in a way that undermined himself.

The news about the battle invites broke out after the meeting.

There were still a lot of people that had never heard about Qin Feng in this world. Some people who had limited information thought that the lowly governor of the North Sea was only seeking powerful allies to protect the newly found dimension. They thought that it was a brilliant opportunity and headed to Cinderclast City without thinking much.

Qin Feng did not bother to explain and set up an arena near the valley just outside Cinderclast City. Simply put, he had earth-type ability users flatten the small hills and create a make-s.h.i.+ft square.

There was no audience seating. He also did not clear the wilderness around the arena so the beasts were still roaming freely nearby. When the day arrived, these beasts would be too frightened to stick around anyway.
