"Greetings your highness. May I ask for what occasion you come here today?" Tanya smiled condescendingly, taking a seat next to Ben. She only had to look at Evan to understand who she was up against.

For the first time since she was born, she was finally meeting Evan, her fiancé. This boy could be considered das.h.i.+ngly handsome, of peak male pedigree. In terms of his role, one might call him the male lead. Even so, his personali left much to consider.

'You want to play this game with me? Every single king, queen and official that has tried, died meaningless deaths. You are but a backwater prince.' Tanya gazed with a hint of mockery exuded by her mere presence. Her hair flickered as she tilted her head, smiling somewhat deviously.

"I have come here today to meet my future wife. It just so happens that you are not as well mannered as I originally thought." Evan sat back. With his feet now on the table, he convinced himself that he had the upper hand. Only by appearing to be the one with the most confidence can one win a war of words.

"I heard that you are quite enamoured by Yuri Carter…" Tanya softly spoke, with her eyes gleaming in a predacious manner.

"Yes. She is such a splendid girl. I could make her mine with just the offer of the queens.h.i.+p. I hope you heard that last clause too. I really don't need to marry you, I could marry any other beautiful girl. You however, have not so many prospects to count through. Men like innocent girls, you know?" Evan crossed his arms as he smirked. He really did not see Tanya as an opponent.

"I see. Your highness, you are a joke." As plainly and as blatant as it sounded, Tanya said it. She did not give two f**ks about what Evan or her brother thought about her words. She just wanted to put it out there that she did not care.

"Thank you... for expressing your displeasure. Now I can finally break off this engagement." Evan got up while carefully hiding his bruised ego. He truly did not expect for Tanya to be so direct. He was hoping that she would become submissive through his words, but he ended up being wrong.

'Do you want to control me? Not even two rival emperors could. Do you dare to play an emperor for a fool?' Tanya just wanted Evan to leave.

"Also, send my regards to Ms Carter. I will be paying her a visit soon enough." Tanya winked and stood up.

"Do you want to torment her because I fancy her?! You evil villainess!" Evan immediately took the opportunity to launch his attack. Pressing his hands against the back of the chair, he seemed to be like an interrogator. Evil and malicious, not leaving a single detail out.

"All of your talk about a beautiful girl that surpa.s.ses me in grace has piqued my interest. You can only blame yourself." Tanya walked out of the room just like that. No further words, no added statements. And paying Yuri Carter a visit, she definitely would do.

"Evil witch! Yuri is too precious! This is the perfect opportunity to end the engagement with the public in my favour…" Evan schemed in words rather than thoughts, letting Ben hear everything.

"I will spread word that Tanya became jealous of Yuri and is threatening to hurt her! I, the angel prince, will come and stop this from happening in a public place and break off the engagement so humiliatingly that I will come out without even a scratch. Afterwards, I will ask for Yuri's hand in marriage. All of this at the cost of one insignificant-"

Evan was thrown to the ground by a powerful force.

"Get out, you are no longer welcome here, YOUR HIGHNESS."

"Eeek!l Evan s.h.i.+fted backwards from his b.u.t.t, banging his head on a table leg.

"Now how about I tell you about what I will do to you if even a single tear falls down from my sister's beautiful eyes…" Ben dragged his index finger up to Evan's chin, stroking it softly.

"First, I will make it so you will never find a woman that will ever love you. Word will spread that you are a notorious playboy that only views women as objects. Second, I will torment you every single day in the Academy. Third, your parents, the king and Queen, will know everything. Do not think that I will not speak just because you are a prince. I am a Brother first and foremost."
