39 Chapter 39: Nature

'Why is she just watching?'

She frowned whenever she saw Lyndel sn.i.g.g.e.r. The smile said that everything was going according to her scheme.

As Freya was pondering on about the situation she heard Adam smugly declare, "Eve... Let me handle her. I would be enough to handle this small feisty woman."

Eve rolled her eyes at his pervertedness. She shrugged as she stood by and observed the match.

Adam smirked as his eyes scanned over Freya's body lecherously.

Even though Freya fell under the small category, one could not help but appreciate her figure. She had everything in the right places and even though she was covering her face, her blue eyes were mesmerising enough to hold other's attention.

He appeared before her within a second and tilted his head while keeping a c.o.c.ky smile.

He whispered as his eyes roamed around her face, "You know, you should be grateful that I am even willing to take humans to my bed."

He laughed as he saw Freya look at him with a blank expression. It seemed like what he said didn't affect her.

He smirked inwardly thinking about how he would make her submit to him.

Everyone's shade darkened as they heard about his filthy thoughts. Zelal clenched his fists tightly as his eyes flashed in anger.

'No one talks to my sister-in-law like that.'

He took a step forward to thrash the guy but was held back by someone.

Zelal turned around and saw Jinha gripping on his hand as he shook his head at him.

He was bewildered that everyone just stood by and watched that guy speak lewdly at Freya.

"How are you guys just standing here? Don't you care about her at all?" he shouted at him frustratedly.

He couldn't believe that all her friends just stood by and watched it happen. He knew they won't be able to win the match but even if he was about to die, it would be better protecting the dignity of his friends, right?

He didn't want to look at Usui to know his complexion. Still, he peeked at his brother to see him standing straight with his jaw clenched. He knew his brother hated himself at this moment for not being able to protect his woman's dignity.

"It's better to not interfere." Jinha sighed on seeing Zelal's fury.

From the corner of his eyes, Zelal saw Adam reach out his hands to caress Freya's cheeks.

He shrugged Jinha's hands away with the intention to rush forward. But he couldn't move as he was held back again.

Suddenly, a loud rumbling reverberated in the sky. It was like the sky was angry for treating their princess unfairly.

Zelal gazed up to see dark clouds gathering quickly as the area darkened slightly. The clouds darkened as if it was about to drizzle down heavily.

But, Zelal frowned, 'Why is something not right?'

The dark clouds gathered heavily above Freya and the wind took up some speed. They had to hold on to their garments as they felt the cold breeze around them.

Jinha signalled their soldiers to return back inside the s.h.i.+eld. The soldiers hurried back as soon as possible before calamity pulled them in.

Suddenly, lightning descended down towards the two figures standing in the middle of the field. Adam whose hands were inches away from her face was surprised that he dashed a few steps back avoiding the lightning strike.

Usui screamed, "FREYAAAAA!!"

There was silence in the field as Usui's screams echoed. Zelal just looked on disbelievingly at the scene before him while Jinha and others had a worried expression on their faces.

Right after the strike descended, they watched gapingly at the lightning vanis.h.i.+ng before their eyes. It was like she was sucking it into her body.

When their vision cleared, they saw Freya standing perfectly alright.

No... Not perfectly alright, she had lightning running through her body.

The lightning coursed through her veins and wrapped her body in it giving off a scary vibe.

Usui was at loss. He couldn't believe his eyes.

'So her ability was lightning but the colour of her lightning is so strange!' he mused over his thoughts.

He was more shocked by the fact that she was loved by nature. Only people who have nature's acceptance can utilize natural elements as their own to pinnacles.

'No wonder, she was said to be the strongest person here.'
