Owen grabbed the letter in his hand tighter before offering it to Alena, ''This is a handwritten letter from higher-ups of Government, about how saddened they are about his loss.''

Alena took the letter with a trembling hand. Her face, which was only a second ago unfazed started changing.

Teardrops poured down from her eyes, and her face became enraged, ''Saddened they say... Those bastards!''

With anger, she ripped the letter into hundreds of tiny pieces of paper, before scattering it on the snowy ground, making it impossible to see the pieces of paper.

Owen sighed and lowered his head. He understands how she feels because he knows better than anyone how hypocritical the higher-ups are.

No one wants their sympathy.

Azura's body trembled as she fell down on her knees, right next to Aether, who was already crying buckets.

''Sniff... Sob...'' Aether covered his crying face, ''I-I-It's my fault...''

Alena wiped her tears and said, ''No! Don't say that ever again...'' She bit her lip, and memories of her first meeting with Abyss surfaced into her mind.

She at first thought that Abyss was another delinquent, but his actions made him look different in her eyes.

She lived near the dojo and was a part-time worker there, which allowed him to see Abyss a couple of times a day.

His usual route to school was near the dojo. At first, she was curious about him and decided to find more about him.

There were few classmates of Abyss going to the dojo, and it was easy for her to find out about him and his deeds.

Apparently, he was quite respected but also feared in the school. But, the ones who usually go to the dojo see him as a hero of some kind.

There were also bad rumors flying around, caused by jealous young men, but Alena didn't even bat an eye after hearing those rumors.

But then, Abyss graduated and moved to a different country for his High School, and Alena expected that to be the last time she heard about him.

Years went by, and Alena was getting more beautiful with each passing day. She founded her own clothing store, and there wasn't a lack of customers.

She was pleased with her life, but one thing she didn't like. It was the amount of courters she got.

She was single, and it was widely known. It made a lot of single men visit her store, only in hopes of getting to her good books and start their journey to her heart bit by bit.

Alena wasn't as naive as they thought and saw their intention at first glance, and decided to stay as single. Her parents thought that she was wasting her youth and that she could marry someone rich and live a life without worries.

One day, Alena was cleaning her store until one of the TVs in the store, which usually shows News because it is mandatory to have one in each store.

That News changed her life forever.

The News showed a man with a muscular build and handsome features fighting in a Professional Tournament. He was known as Abyss The Supernova.

He was the fastest rising fighter of the decade, and the amount of fame he received wasn't little.

Instead, it was explosive, and his name was known everywhere.

Alena recognized with a glance, she didn't even need to know his name. Her heart started beating rapidly, like never before, and once again, she became curious about him.

She wanted to know about the identity of the suspicious individual but didn't know where to begin with.

The next day, Alena was again in her own store; this time her look had apparent signs of fatigue. She could barely sleep last night after being very curious about the suspicious individual and was almost desperate to find his identity.

Her thoughts circled around those thoughts, but then, a customer appeared in the store.

It was once again the suspicious individual.

Alena's heart started beating as she once again looked at his every movement, trying to find any clues.

But, the suspicious individual didn't look for clothes; instead, he appeared in front of Alena and once again asked for a date.

This time... Alena accepted.

After accepting, the suspicious individual removed his hood, which revealed his identity.

Alena... Was truly shocked after the suspicious individual ended up being Abyss!

That was the start of a very unordinary and bittersweet relationship, which had bumps in almost every turn, but it gave birth to something wonderful.

Because of this very weird relationship.
