Chapter 242: Arkenthym's Suffering.

Ichiro opened the door, which was only recently closed. He saw a long corridor with dozens of doors, but he heard a distinct noise of footsteps coming from the corridors.

He entered the corridors and started running towards the sound of footsteps. But, something strange happened.

His footsteps didn't cause any kind of noise!

Even while running, it was like he wasn't even touching the ground.

[Iron Death - Sixth Move: Stealth]

This move allows him to move stealthily, a perfect move made for an Assassin!

League of Assassins has techniques that allow them to move stealthily, but nothing of this level!

Ichiro's techniques would be like a wet dream for League of Assassins, and they would want his techniques desperately.

The cameras could barely capture his figure as he flew past the corridors and quickly approached the person who was walking in the corridors.

Soon, he saw an outline of a person.

He had a bored look on his face with dirty blond hair. His face showed his arrogance, with a tinge of ruthlessness in his dark eyes.

There were daggers strapped down on his waist, with a long sword on his back. His body stature wasn't the most athletic, but it wasn't bad either, with his great leg muscles.

He was carelessly walking in the corridors, thinking that he was undefeatable existence, but that's why he didn't notice a blur of shadow appeared behind him.

*SWOOSH*

Ichiro took his dagger from his waist and pushed it deep inside the young man's back.

*STAB*

''ARGHHH!'' The young man with dirty blond hair started screaming in agony as he felt something sharp inside his back.

He turned his head with an agony-filled gaze and saw a black-haired young man looking at him with a cold face.

''W-Why?'' The young man uttered his words with blood flowing from his mouth, ''I-I didn't do anything to you!''

''Good luck surviving, morooooon,'' Ichiro said with a mocking voice; he stood up and started walking away.

The young man's eyes widened after hearing those words.

He looked towards Ichiro with a pleading gaze, ''P-Please, i-it was j-just a joke!''

Ichiro felt even angrier, but he didn't look back. His figure had already disappeared from the sight, while the young man was left alone bleeding.

''Ugh!'' The young man spat a mouthful of blood, and slowly the light left his eyes as he died out of blood loss.

*Beep* *Beep*

Ichiro stopped walking and heard something beeping from the pocket of his shorts.

He put his hand on his pocket and grabbed something metallic inside. He took it from the pocket and looked at the item in his hand.

It was a smartwatch with a timer ticking down and a number.

[11:41:43]

[Eliminations: 1]

[Rank: 11]

[Fighters Left: 113]

''Quite many have died already.'' Ichiro put the smartwatch on his wrist and continued his journey.

He had a hunch that most of the fighters were hiding.

'I wonder why some of the families sent their family members...' Ichiro thought while walking, 'Maybe they need Power Limit Remover desperately? Are they desperate enough to get their children killed...'

He still couldn't figure it out, but even he felt tempted about the Power Limit Remover.

In his last life, he never could take a final step to become a peak existence because the limit of humanity shackled him down.

In terms of this world's ranking. He would have been Half-Step Martial King when he was in his prime.

But he could use Power Trait or anything like that. First of all, he didn't know that it existed, and he had a hunch that Earth might become like this world if even one human found a way to remove the Limiter.

Ichiro was the closest one, but he died before managing to reach that Mythical stage. He always thought that it was laughable for him to die from a truck crashing onto him.

His body in normal condition would have been strong enough to survive the crash with heavy injuries, but he would have survived.

But, he died. He was certain that Martial Generals of this world could survive such a crash.

He had another theory.

The air of this world simply makes the bodies stronger. His body was still human's in his previous life, and it was simply impossible for him to survive, but now...

He has a feeling that his body is way more durable than in his previous life, and he could survive that crash.

While Ichiro was deep in stuck on his thoughts, he didn't notice him arriving at a crossroad.

He had four directions to choose from, but Ichiro didn't really care and continued walking forwards.

Ichiro walked some distance until he arrived in a familiar-looking part of the Stadium. There were stairways leading downstairs, and he knew where those lead to.

To the Arena!

Ichiro walked down the stairs and saw a door that was tightly locked. He opened the door with a doorknob and entered the empty and quiet arena.

The spectator stands were empty, while no soul was in sight.

Ichiro sat down on the seat with a crown symbol. It is a symbol of a VIP.

Dozens of cameras instantly locked into his figure while Ichiro lazily put the sword on the seat next to him.

In one of the buildings of Underworld City.

Thousands of VIPs were looking at the sight with enraged expressions.

Arkenthym also had an annoyed face.

Ali looked at the screen with a small smile.

''Why isn't he doing anything?'' Mei asked curiously.

Elina smirked, ''He doesn't want to win.''

''Why?'' Mei looked surprised, ''He would be free.''

''He doesn't trust that Arkenthym will give him his freedom,'' Ali said with a smile.

Arkenthym slammed the table and pushed a red button in front of him, ''Ichiro, what are you doing?!''

Ichiro heard enraged shout echoing from the speakers.

He turned his head towards the cameras and said, ''Remove the Dynamites and disband the Underworld base in Irio; otherwise, I won't move an inch.''

Arkentyhm thought he couldn't be angrier.

''I CAN'T DO THAT IN A SHORT TIME!''

''Stop lying.'' Ichiro sighed, ''You suck at it. Make a call for your subordinates; I know they are on standby.''

Arkenthym clenched his fist, he took his phone and texted his subordinates to start disbanding operation and to remove the dynamites, but he didn't tell them to remove the puppets.''

''How would he know if you did any one of those things?'' Mei asked, ''You could lie.''

''If he lied...'' Ali grinned, ''Consquences will be dire.''

''This cunt!'' Arkenthym threw the phone on the wall, which broke instantly.

''He somehow found out about the Dynamites; he must have some informant in the Irio,'' Leppercon said with a tired look; they got played by a 16 years old kid.

None of them had ever suffered such humiliation.

They were right.

Ichiro had his own informant.

But, that informant was currently floating behind them as an illusionary figure.

The illusionary figure had a small smile.

'Destiny is changing...' The System thought, 'Ichiro was supposed to suffer much more in the hands of Arkenthym, but something had changed.... Now instead of him, it is Arkenthym who is suffering.'
