Holding the door open, Zhi Rui looked back inside her new home. On the biggest bedroom, Blue-amethyst and sandworm laid bare on the bed knocked out by alcohol and Zhi Rui's tireless fighting stamina.

She looked to the side on another small bed, the royal siblings were pretending to sleep to avoid awkwardness.

Zhi Rui walked everywhere, memorizing every inch of the place. She was wandering on an isolated part near the fence and saw a reflection of the moon. There was a small pond with some vegetation around. no bucket for water, nor fish farm. it was unused.

She remembered someone talking about the son of the alpha that liked to bathe in the pond of water so he took one clean well away from the tribe for his personal use.

Zhi Rui chuckled, ' As the one who killed you, it'd be a dishonor to not comply with your wishes.'

She jumped inside the pond that was almost freezing. The cold started to p.r.i.c.kle a little too strong she's used too. Zhi Rui frowned and used her energy to warm the water to her point.

Suddenly an image of Zhun Xuying fleshed in her mind. zhi Rui smiled and warmed the water to a good hot temperature.

"To walk around and catch a naked beauty smiling like evil doesn't exist in the world, is, from now on, my proudest achievement."

Zhi Rui's eyes snapped open.

Han Lee stood in front of her with his trademark good guy smile.

She sighed.

"Whoa, the amount of annoyance on your eyes is at absurd levels, I better get going." He said and walked away.

Zhi Rui frowned and sighed again in exasperation.

"What is the white tribe's objective?" Zhi Rui asked with obvious reluctance.

As the words left her mouth she felt an unusual relief that Han Lee stopped

Zhi Rui frowned deeply. these feelings, she knew it came from her heart, and it was sincere. Which made it more confusing.

Han Lee had already turned and was looking at her confused face. there wasn't a change of expression on his face, but inside, Han Fei. was trembling in joy. He followed Bianca's word every time he was together with Zhi Rui. And he could see the results clearly.

"Thr white tribe is the weakest of the three strongest tribes we remain neutral and deal with the logistics of war."

"You said what it is, but I asked what it wants." Zhi Rui asked annoyed.

Han Lee smiled politely "We're a neutral tribe, we want peace above all."

Zhi Rui's aimed her annoyed stare at him. He looked back with the same smile.

"It doesn't matter if it looks like your tribe is being bullied or the fact that you're stuck with the annoying jobs. The third strongest party cannot be neutral otherwise the two above would tear it apart, or it would be swallowed by the others underneath it. It doesn't matter if it's in a high civilization or in a pack of wolves the rule is the same. that's a law of nature."

Zhi Rui said her eyes squinted and she spoke slowly and carefully.

"And since you're the third party and managed to maintain the status quo for so long, that can only mean one thing. ....you're not the weakest party, but the strongest."

"That's a h.e.l.l of an a.s.sumption to make by relying on personal beliefs." Han Lee said

Zhi Rui laughed. "Now that I think about it the barbarism has it written on its book of wisdom." Zhi Rui frowned and closed her eyes, Han Lee tried to open his mouth but Zhi Rui raised her indicator up, shus.h.i.+ng him in his place

"I got it, it's like this: Only the strong have the right to be pa.s.sive and pa.s.sionate whilst the weak has no other choice."

Zhi Rui opened her eyes to see his twitching lips. She chuckled

"To sum it up, only the strong can be completely neutral. While the weak have to pick a side."

"That's not what it means," Han Lee said.

Zhi Rui scoffed "Stop dancing around, you understood full well my words and know it is true, now tell me what your tribe wants. I may have a way to grant it."

Han Lee opened his mouth, but Bianca's voice a.s.saulted his mind. "Don't say it to her!"

He frowned "Why not? If I do it's a special bond with her, isnt that what we want?" he asked in his mind.

"It's not about that. It's about Zhi Rui. She's being defensive, while her intentions with that question are genuine, the way she phrased it and threw it at you is a personal test to see your reaction."

"Why did she do that!?" He asked

"Don't question it, it's actually a good sign, women don't bother to test people they're not interested in. The rules are, never react to her words, never overreact emotionally and don't just agree and nod along. avoid these and you may attain ma.s.sive progress."

The thoughts came and went lightning fast on his mind.

Han Lee looked at Zhi Rui with the same trademark gentle smile

"The new alpha is so feisty, people who heard the way you talked just now would say you're more interested in testing me as a man instead of initiating a business talk."

Zhi Rui suddenly felt a b.u.t.terfly on her stomach and she froze

The steam grew thicker on the pond and it covered Zhi Rui's face.

Han lee stopped laughing and sighed "Haaa, the white tribe wants to find a way to make this wasteland into an actual habitable land, and raise ourselves as a real powerful country.

Han Lee said and sighed.

"They have no interest in actually conquering this land. But that doesn't mean they aren't greedy. slowly they are poisoning our ranks, and as we're known as the weakest, they just a.s.sume that we'll follow whatever the other two tribes decide."

"And while you're overlooked, you search for a method for self-sustenance and a way to attain complete independence." Zhi Rui completed his thoughts.

Han Lee nodded with a smiled "That's it."

"What if the empire manages to lead one of the big tribes astray before you can do it?" Zhi Rui asked.

Han Lee grinned "It's like you said. Only the strong can choose to be pa.s.sive, I can safely say that we can deal with both tribes, but if it comes to th"

"The empire will attack the wounded wolf and take complete power over the land." Zhi Ru finished his words again.

Han Lee nodded, "The best case scenario if things go bad is to crush one tribe and dominate the other, this way we'll keep our reign."

Zhi Rui chewed on his words, the steam pa.s.sed by her eyes as she pondered.

"That old man will bring someone with authority from your tribe too?" She asked.

"I'm the eldest and second in command on the tribe I have the authority to be present and discuss in the meeting."

Zhi Rui leaned her head back and looked a the sky.

"They'll stall for a few days before coming here right? I'm a n.o.body forcing them to move after all." She said.

Han Lee shook his head. "No, they don't like to show laziness, it portrays weak will and unreliability. They'll probaly be here tomorrow by noon."

Zhi Rui jumped off the pond. Her thin white robe was wet and her skin glistened through it. She threw her hair back with hands bringing attention to her bust.

She looked at his unabashed stare and smiled, "Come to my place in the morning, I'll have a proposal for your tribe issue."

She smiled and walked back to her place. She was feeling unusually fresh.

Han Leee watched her rear until she disappeared from his vision.

His eye s.h.i.+ned with a morbid pleasure. 's.l.u.t, I'll have you eating in my hands.'

"You did good enough child of envy, she even flirted with you by the end," Bianca suddenly intruded his mind again.

He chuckled mentally. "I think she just doesn't care for eyes on her body."

Bianca laughed. "You don't have my vision envy boy. my girl truly doesn't care about nudity, but she did more than that, she fished for your eyes and you swallowed the bait"

Han Lee smiled.

Bianca continued "You build the rapport and extended her the rope, now you have to slow down and wait for her to entangle herself with it."

"You have to be really old to talk like this." He said.

Suddenly a head tearing headache a.s.saulted him. His legs gave in and soon he was holding his temples on the sandy ground.

"Envy boy, you're good, but you have to choose your words more carefully," Bianca said as her voice slowly faded away.

Han Lee gasped and muttered under his breath. "The apple truly doesn't fall far from the tree." He chuckled and waited for the morning.
