209 Hang Out Sometime

She looked at her hand and saw that there's an IV inserted to it, realizing that she's in the hospital. She tried so hard to recall who rescued her but she couldn't remember anything. It's impossible for Flair to do it since she's not around when she fainted.

'What happened to me…?' but no one is around to answer her.

Then the door opened. . .

'It's him!' Daisy's mouth fell wide open.

"How are you, Miss Daisy?" the man smiled in a friendly manner but Daisy couldn't move but flinched.

He pursed his lips to suppress his glee upon looking at her bewildered expression, sensing that the lady is in daze and confused. To divert her attention, the man explained what happened and then introduced himself to Daisy.

"Umm… I was the one who brought you here because you fainted after we b.u.mp to each other at the restobar. The doctor said that you're so stress out and over fatigue and that you need an ample rest. By the way I'm Sheldon Mesley, and if I'm not mistaken, we've met at the Briggs' company… you're Ingrid's secretary right?"

"I… umm.. ahh, sorry. I-I'm still confused of what's happening to me. How'd you know my name?" she asked suspiciously.

"Uh… sorry, I had to open your bag to get some information about you and saw the company's ID inside your planner. Sorry for invading your privacy. Then, I remembered that I saw you in the elevator at the Briggs' company but I think you didn't see me because you're so busy at that time."

"Ahh yeah, I remember you. You're the new model." She plainly stated. Daisy had to pretend not to know him at first to lessen her embarra.s.sment.

She now remembered why Sheldon is familiar to her because she saw his profile at the top of the HR Manager's table when she needs to get some doc.u.ments in the HR department.

"Yeah, I am just new at the company... and I haven't met new friends there. We can be friends if you like." he appeared that befriending her is just a natural thing but not for her.

Daisy narrowed her eyes, looking at the man suspiciously. She also remembered Flair who's going gaga over this man. He's a sweet talker and any woman would easily fall for him because of the way he stares coupled with a charming smile.

'Oh Flair, this man will only give you a broken heart.' She unhappily sighed for her friend.

It didn't slip pa.s.s Sheldon's notice that the woman is wary of him.

"Look, don't suspect me of anything. I'm just offering friends.h.i.+p and if you don't like it, it's okay." He said nonchalantly.

He appeared sincere, but Daisy is not easily persuaded and she never uttered any word.

All of the sudden, the door swung open and there they saw Flair catching her breath as though she's been chased by a ghost. Her hair is unkempt and her face looks like a mess.

"Oh my gosh, Daisy! What happened to you… Why did you not call me?" Daisy smiled at the drama of her friend and she didn't even notice that there's another person in the room.

"It's okay, what's important is that I'm okay."Daisy s.h.i.+fted her gaze to Sheldon, "good thing, there's still a Good Samaritan these days." Daisy smiled, "…fortunately, Mr. Mesley was there to rescue me…" she waved her hand to where Sheldon was standing.

"Mesley? Who's Mesley?" Flair knitted her brow.

"Mr. Sheldon Mesley. He's standing behind you."

"WHAT?!" Daisy laughed at the expression of her friend.

Flair feels like walloping Daisy's nape for not informing her immediately. Her face paled upon hearing the name and pretended to be calm and collected before she faced him.

"OH, Sheldon you're here! Thank you for rescuing my best friend…"

"No problem, director Flair. It's a small favour which I believe will be compensated by in the future." The two women looked at each other and didn't understand what he meant.

Sheldon chuckled.

"Don't get me wrong. I was thinking like, maybe we could hang out sometime, getting to know each other and stuff like that, you know. It'll help if we could get along in the work place before the final photo shoot starts. Plus, there'll be someone who could accompany both of you if something like this happens again in the future."

Flair's emotion soared and she's in high spirits when she heard the man's suggestion. And because she's drunk, she easily grabbed the man's suggestion without much thought.

"That would be lovely. You see, my friend here needs to be taught on how to be sociable. Will you help me?" Daisy slapped her face out of awkwardness.

Flair continued to talk nonsense until she fell asleep. Daisy was relieved that Flair did not reveal her true feelings for Sheldon because it will be chaotic once she regained her senses.

Sheldon bid goodbye after he tuck Flair to the sofa and before he left, he reminded Daisy to find some time to have fun and not just focus on work and she just nodded not taking Sheldon's advice to heart.
