"Oh... I was caught off guard there! Wait, uhm, you mean, you denied the rumored secret marriage then but you admitted just now that you married secretly after that… am I correct?" his bearing becomes serious.

"Uh huh.. not exactly after, let's just say, just days ago?" Clifford answered confidently while Ingrid flushed pink on her cheeks.

The audience went still and hold their breaths as if they were watching an intense action to unfold. Their ears seem eager to hear what the guests are about to reveal.

"Miss Ingrid? Will you confirm your marriage with Mr. Clifford?" Aron is waiting for Ingrid to confirm what Clifford just declared.

Aron's thoughts went wild as he interacted with his guests. Instead that he'll be the one dropping bombs to them it seems that he's being bombed right before his very eyes. But he needed to compose himself not to miss any chance for their revelation. He's nagging within to know the details more.

"Ye-yeah, we got married days ago…" she confirmed still having a flushed face.

Then Clifford take hold of Ingrid's hand which the cameraman caught and at once focused his lens on their hands and the audience gasps for air in surprise which could be heard in the studio.

They voluntarily showed them their wedding rings. The host stood up and examined the rings.

"These are not typical rings. These are custom made and I haven't seen anything like this. It's so lovely and I know its brand name exclusively for the rich and the famous. Who designed this?"

"My husband along with Clark." It was Ingrid who answered.

All her inhibitions are now gone because she likes the way the host handles the interview. He's not maliciously prying or making things just to make the interview interesting.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! What a revelation! And we're just warming up people! Wew! We'll be back after the break…"

Vanessa is just lazily sitting on her couch and is bored. He couldn't contact Paul or her friends to hang out. So she just searches something interesting on TV and randomly changes the channel. After disregarding a talk show channel she continued scanning for more chapters she stopped and blinked for seconds when the images on that talk show seems familiar to her. Without delay she goes back to the previous channels.

To her utter surprise, she saw Clifford and Ingrid being introduced. She noticed the different body language the two are stirring.

"What the-"

The host welcomes the guests, made some side comments. Vanessa smiled upon knowing that Ingrid's secret will be revealed during the interview as she knew that the host is known to be frank and won't hide anything. She's pleased when she heard that Clifford denied the rumor about them being secretly married.

As she continued watching, she could not help but be irritated with Ingrid.

"Huh! Pretentious woman, as if you're pure! Hypocrite!"

But her heart started to thump loudly when Aron Cutter asked them a serious question.

"Technically? So, you mean, you got married after?"

"Yes."

Vanessa felt like her world is cras.h.i.+ng down when she heard Clifford's answer. She tightened her grip on the remote control as she imagines choking Ingrid with her bare hands.

"AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!! INGRID YOU ARE A PAIN IN THE a.s.s!!" she screamed loudly.

She boxed a pillow and throws the remote control to her TV monitor. She continued screaming and flings everything in sight.

"I will definitely settle scores with you Ingrid… you stole the man I love!" She dialled a number and called.

"Hi, it's me, Vanessa Reiley. I believe you owe me some favor…." Vanessa could not help but laughed devilishly.

"And we're back. Before the commercial break, our guests declared that they did not get married secretly before however, they did just recently…" the host paused and pursed his lips, "you know what you're something, you caught me off guard everytime…" he laughs.

The audience laughed at the host's remark.

"Okay, before we get into the details of your "secret wedding" and your love story, we wanna know the story behind your pregnancy Miss Howard, or should I say, Mrs. Briggs." The man teased.

"Well, I have no plans in getting married, I felt that marriage wasn't my thing, so I decided to go through an IVF process and the rest is history." Ingrid answered him without going on with the details.

"The child became the center of controversy after your business trip in Maldives. Lots of speculation was made up regarding him. They were also curious who the sperm donor was. Though, there's no need for you to disclose the ident.i.ty of the 'generous' donor, but can you at least tell us if you knew who's the donor?"

Ingrid laughed at the question when she remembered the qualifications she gave to Dr. Samantha.

"Uh… I really didn't know who's the donor or the doctor will really find the qualifications I gave. So, I just gave the doctor the physical qualities I thought I needed to have an intelligent and handsome child without thinking anyone in particular. But fate has its way…"

"Fate has its way? Do you mean that you really met that person?" The host was even more mesmerized.
