However, Xu Jia Li was having a hard time processing what was happening, she tilted her head and glared at Si Weimin. She frowned a little when she saw how possessive his stance was, and how it gave the impression that they were really in a relations.h.i.+p. Why he's doing this was a question even she couldn't fathom at all.

She became suddenly alarmed and worried about the rumours this moment might cause yet still she decided not to speak and just let Si Weimin handle Producer Zhang.

She thought to herself that the old perverted man deserved to be castigated by him.

Knowing how perverted the old man was, she knew that he was up to no good. Hence, not doing this would only make Producer Zhang act indecently in the near future.

So this incident would greatly help her in the future anyway when she needed to communicate and deal with him. Anyway, she could always talk to Si Weimin later after this to clarify and point out how inappropriate it was for him to act like this.

She once again cast a glance at Si Weimin and thought,

'Si Weimin, I couldn't understand you at all. Why are you doing this?'

Producer Zhang's gaze never left Si Weimin's arm around Xu Jia Li's shoulder. He shuddered as he immediately dropped Xu Jia Li's arm as if it was hot. With a pale face, he looked at Si Weimin and explained, "CEO Si, I am discussing a new project with Miss Xu."

"You don't have to directly discuss projects with her. Go talk with her manager." Si Weimin's tone was full of authority as he shrivelled his eyes full of rage. He held Xu Jia Li's shoulder tightly so it was close to his chest.

Xu Jia Li could feel the warmth of his embrace, even his warm breath that touched her cheeks made her s.h.i.+ver in a pleasant way. She could also feel his heart beating. She suddenly felt warm all over.

'Why am I feeling this way?' she asked herself as she clutched her chest which was beating so fast. She scolded herself immediately and tried her best to put these strange emotions at the back of her mind. She reminded herself not to forget her goal.

She moved her gaze at Lan Meixu and there she saw her naughty smile as she winked at her. She grunted at her and rolled her eyes which only fuel Lan Meixu's teasing glances.

She heard Producer Zhang spoke with his trembling voice. He looked unease as he held his hand – running circles all over the knuckles. His slouchy demeanour made him look like a Scrooge.

"O-of course, CEO Si. I-I w-will talk to her manager, then. This.. This is no rush, no rush CEO Si. This project, you see, ahm, could wait. It could wait, CEO Si." answered the stammering Producer Zhang as he wiped the sweat all over his wrinkled forehead.

"That's good."

He wasn't expecting this kind of treatment from Si Weimin, since he was known to be a cold and indifferent man – the devil of the business world. He never knew that he would suddenly show this side of him because of a girl. He sneered as he pretended to smile and asked,

"Forgive me for being impolite, if CEO Si don't mind me asking, is CEO Si the boyfriend of Miss Xu?"

"Yea, I am her boyfriend. Got any problem with that, Producer Zhang?" Si Weimin answered with a cold tone as he continued without hiding the contempt on his voice,

"Anyway, I heard you are venturing on a new business, should the business club look after it?"

Si Weimin was the president of the prestigious China's First Cla.s.s Business Club. All those who wanted to be members must apply before being accepted. He very well known that Producer Zhang had a hard time being a member of the business club because of the devious way he handled his business.

If it were not because of Mr. Smith, the Vice President of CFCBC, in which was Si Weimin's mentor, he wouldn't even dream of accepting Producer Zhang's application. He wanted to kick him out of the group the very moment he learned about his recent involvement in the drug syndicate.

This was a shock to Producer Zhang because he knew that he had been careful. 'How did this devil know?' he mused to himself. He looked at him and cursed his guts.

However, he knew the hidden threat on Si Weimin's deep and cold voice.

"T-this will not happen again, CEO Si. I-I never know that CEO Si is the boyfriend of Miss Xu."

"Now you know. Back off."

He immediately said goodbye to Si Weimin and Xu Jia Li. He walked out of the room as he cursed inside,

'This devil! Let me see how you will react when I f.u.c.k her in front of you.' His eyes glimmered with the grudge he felt for him mixed with the undeniable l.u.s.t he had for Xu Jia Li. 'I will let her c.u.m with your eyes wide open.' He laughed maniacally – his eyes blinded by his lewdness.

Xu Jia Li caught the sinister look on Producer Zhang's eyes as he left. She winced with the thought as she shuddered involuntarily which made Si Weimin tightened his grip on her shoulder even more as he asked, concern covered his usual cold voice,

"Are you alright?"

Feeling his warm breath closed to her – she suddenly became alarmed and immediately shrugged his hand off her and said,

"I appreciate your concern. A lot. And I thank you for it. But will you stop saying nonsense?"

"What nonsense?"

Even before she could answer, Lan Meixu and w.a.n.g Guo quietly left the room upon seeing that they were about to have their first lover's quarrel. The two were smiling on their way out which only made Xu Jia Li even more annoyed.

Even Si Weimin chuckled upon seeing them leave. a.s.sistant w.a.n.g Guo even gave him two thumbs up before he closed the door.

Like a child, she stomped her feet and ran her hand on her face as she continued with her litany,

"This! What you said! What you are doing! These are all nonsense! We've seen each other for like an hour or more and yet you are claiming you are my boyfriend? How stupid is that?" she fired at him, her eyes glistened with unexplainable emotions as tears threatened to drop on her cheeks. She was panting hard it was hard to breathe.

"How crazy you are! How crazy these are! This is insane, you know that?"

She stopped talking when she saw the look on Si Weimin's face. He had mixed emotions on his face – longing, love, pain; she was taken aback as the most she could see was the pain on those mesmerizing black eyes. She wanted to touch his cheeks and take away the pain that her words had caused him but she was too afraid.

She never knew what love is. She never knew how to trust. This was all new to her that it scared the h.e.l.l out of her.

She was about to turn her back when he heard him speak, "I've always been this crazy about you."
