Beryl smiled sarcastically before she said, "I only cared about the master! His success is mine as well. Are you forgetting that our goal is to kill that b.i.t.c.h?! I will talk to Uncle Feng. Just leave this all to me!"

"My uncle was only following the master's order! If not for my uncle, you'll still be living a miserable life."

Snow sneered as she slapped Beryl using the back of her hand, "My father's concern is mine, as well! Obey the rules and the process! Know where your place is! Stop jeopardizing the organization's plan! Feng Chen is only my father's a.s.sistant! He's not in charge of deciding these matters!"

Beryl's face immediately reddened. She watched as Snow walked like a queen exuding so much power inside the dark warehouse. She was fuming with anger that she bit her lips while following behind.

"Where's she?"

"What do you think you're doing, Snow?! Stop meddling with my task!"

Snow moved quickly as she moved her leg to kick Beryl but it was immediately dodged by the latter. The two women engaged in an intense fight which showed their skills in martial arts. Beryl made sure that she showed her skills to Snow since she was younger than her. She moved quickly and with confidence.

Snow sneered at how proud Beryl was so her moves became even more deadly. She had been putting up with this woman's arrogance and it was just right to make her taste defeat. Her moves landed on Beryl's body and face until the woman fell on the roughly cemented floor.

"One more word from you and I'll make sure that you won't see the end of it."

Beryl saw the truth in Snow's words as she grimaced in pain. She slowly stood as she gazed at the woman in front of her. She swallowed the urge to speak when Snow entered the dimly lit room where Xu Jia Li was. Beryl's men immediately saluted upon seeing Snow. This made Beryl even angrier.

"Next time that you act without me knowing, I'll make sure to have your heads. Understood?" Snow glared at Beryl and his men before he signaled the men to get out of the room. When they left, she turned her head to Beryl, "This is my last warning. Don't ever try to act hastily. You're putting our organization and our plan in danger. Stop acting mighty. I've been itching to put you in your place for a very long time."

"Don't pretend like you're doing this for the master because I know you – "

Snow's hand landed on Beryl's face even before the latter finished her words, "I told you, one more word and I won't hesitate to kill you."

Beryl didn't say any word as she gritted her teeth, 'I promise to have your head soon.'

Xu Jia Li heard the woman's voice but she couldn't open her eyes. She felt so sleepy. Her eyes were so heavy. She wanted to talk but all that escaped her lips was m.u.f.fled groan.

"Be careful for now. Wait until I'll be the one to stop with your revenge."

'Who are you?' Xu Jia Li wanted to ask but she was pulled back to a dark abyss as she lost control of her senses.

Si Weimin arrived at Evergreen Hot Spring and Resort but Xu Jia Li was nowhere to be found. He dialed her number but it was out of reached. His heart began to thump so fast that he immediately called Ru Tengfei, "Check the G.o.dd.a.m.ned cameras inside and outside the resort. Now!"

He called w.a.n.g Guo and the bodyguards to look all over the resort. Xu Jia Li messaged him earlier telling him that she would be in the resort to rest. It was already ten in the evening. He dialed Zhen Nian's number but he found out that she also didn't know where Xu Jia Li was.
