"Linqin, go home first. I have to go somewhere."

Xu Jia Li smiled at Shen Linqin from the mirror as she removed the make up from her face.

"Li-jie, are you going out with CEO Si or a.s.sistant w.a.n.g?"

Xu Jia Li almost choked from Shen Linqin's question. She shook her head before she asked, "Where did you get that idea from, Linqin? That's preposterous!"

"Hmm, if not those two then… are you finally giving Yun-ge a chance? I heard earlier that he asked you if you want to join him for dinner."

Xu Jia Li stopped from putting moisturizers on her face as she glanced at Shen Linqin, "Linqin, this is the last time I'll hear you say that, okay? Yun-ge and I will always remain friends. And if, I'm saying IF, okay? If we ever go out as friends, I will let you know."

"Aiyooo, Li-jie. Why don't you just give Yun-ge a chance? He loves you so much."

Xu Jia Li sighed as she arranged the content of her Hermes birkin bag. She decided not to further answer Shen Linqin since it was of no use. She knew how much Shen Linqin adored Li Yun.

After saying goodbye to Shen Linqin, she hurriedly walked out of her dressing room. She wore a simple black body hugging dress under a brown long coat with belt. She also had a pair of black knee- length boots to complete her attire. On her hand was a limited edition red Hermes birkin bag.

She also had a scarf over her head to cover her face. Clutching the scarf to hide her face, she strode towards a black Maybach Exelero parked 15 meters away from the shooting location.

She immediately saw Si Weimin just began alight his car.

"How's the shooting?" Si Weimin asked as he opened the pa.s.senger side for her.

Xu Jia Li smiled brightly as she answered, "It went well." Then she rode inside.

She still had a smile plastered on her face as she gazed at Si Weimin who walked back towards the driver's seat.

"Aren't you tired?" Si Weimin asked while he caressed Xu Jia Li's smooth face.

The concern on Si Weimin's eyes made Xu Jia Li's heart fluttered. She chuckled as she teased, "Being with you is even more tiring."

"…"

"Ha ha ha! I'm kidding, Mr. Arrogant Si!" Xu Jia Li laughed out loud as she gazed at Si Weimin's dumbfounded expression.

"Woah! That frightens me for a second."

"Pft! How can someone so magnificent as CEO Si get frightens so easily?" she teased as she repeatedly poked Si Weimin's cheeks.

"Nothing scares me, except matters about you… I thought for a while…" Si Weimin didn't finish his words as he looked in front of the car.

Seeing the seriousness on his voice, Xu Jia Li pouted her lips, "Okay. Okay. Don't be so serious, Mr. Arrogant Si."

Not hearing any reply from him, she began to feel uneasy. 'Did I really make him mad?'

Xu Jia Li moved closer to Si Weimin before she gently shook his shoulder, "Honey, are you angry?"

Not hearing his reply, she asked again, "Honey… are you mad?"

Seeing that Si Weimin was still ignoring her, she became more hopeless, "Honey…"

She was just about to hold his face when Si Weimin turned his head and said, "Yes, I'm mad. I'm angry. What can you do about it?"

"Honeyyyy… don't be mad. Tell me what I should do…"

"I'll leave it to you to decide."

Xu Jia Li bit her lower lip as she raked her brain for possible answer. Then, she closed her eyes as she slowly moved her lips towards Si Weimin's lips.

"You don't have to do it if you're only forcing yourself."

"N-no! N-no, I'm not!" Xu Jia Li opened her eyes and saw the tight- lipped man in front of her.

She swallowed her apprehension as she moved her face closer to him. She closed the gap between them and began to kiss him. Light at first, then not feeling him responding, she slightly licked and bit his lips. She looked directly at his emotionless eyes as she tried to make him open his mouth so she could put her tongue inside.

She was determined to make his defenses down. She ran her fingers on his chest. Her gaze not leaving him. She smiled when she felt him s.h.i.+vered. She deepened the kiss and to her amazement, Si Weimin hugged her tightly as he returned her kiss.

The two of them shared a long, pa.s.sionate kiss before they stopped.

"Honey, were you really mad?" Xu Jia Li asked while holding Si Weimin's face.

"No. Ha ha ha!"

Xu Jia Li punched Si Weimin on the chest, "You totally tricked me!"

Grand Riviera Hotel

Si Weimin reserved the restaurant for the two of them. Since this was the first time that they dined together, he wanted to make it special and memorable. There were many beautiful flowers inside which made it even more special.

There was also romantic music being played in the piano and some from the violin. The red carpet was filled with rose petals. The room smelled wonderful. Everything was magical.

Si Weimin led Xu Jia Li as they walked in the red carpet.

"This is beautiful!" Xu Jia Li uttered, full of admiration.

Si Weimin pulled a chair for Xu Jia Li as he said, "I'm glad you like it."

He took the bouquet of flowers from the standing w.a.n.g Guo who was grinning at him. Si Weimin grinned back before he walked back to the table and gave the bouquet of flowers to Xu Jia Li, "Happy one week, my love."

He kissed her lightly on the lips before he sat opposite her. He was glad to see the smile on her beautiful face. He would do everything just for those smiles. He was the happiest man alive having the woman he loved to finally be with him.

After the food arrived, the two ate a sumptuous dinner to celebrate their one week relations.h.i.+p. They shared Xu Jia Li's favorite Chinese dishes and a bottle of the Romanee- Conti wine.

Everything was perfect. Si Weimin would sometimes steal glances while Xu Jia Li ate. It was like those times when you wished for the time to stop just to stay in that priceless and amazing moment.

"Let's take a selfie!"

Si Weimin chuckled upon hearing Xu Jia Li. He saw her took her phone before she said, "*Qié zi!"

Xu Jia Li took more photos of them before she put her phone back, "Honey, I want to see The Great Wall at night."

Si Weimin grinned upon hearing Xu Jia Li, "We could do that. Do you want to go now?"

"No, not tonight. It's already late. Let's go tomorrow night. We don't have shooting tomorrow."

"Let's do that, then."

"Thank you, Mr. Arrogant Si!" Xu Jia Li said happily before she pecked Si Weimin's cheek.

A/N: *Qié Zi is usually the term used by people in China when taking photos. It's like when you say "cheese!". It means eggplant so I really don't know how to make our FL say that while she takes a selfie (a groupie? Idk!). Saying eggplant doesn't seem right at all so I just use the exact word. I couldn't just make her say, "cheese!" because Western people usually say that.
