"Eh? Li-jie, how will you go home?" the confused Shen Linqin asked.

"I- ah will need to go somewhere. Yeah. I have to –"

"Li-jie, why are you stammering?" Shen Linqin threw her a questioning look, "What's really going on? Hmm, you're hiding something."

"Well…" Xu Jia Li didn't know what to say. She was still not ready to tell anyone about Si Weimin and her. She smiled awkwardly.

"Hmph! Okay. I get it, Li-jie. You must have a secret date that you don't want to tell me," Shen Linqin poked her shoulders playfully as she teased her.

"Shees.h.!.+ Linqin, enough with your teasing."

"Aiyoo, Li-jie, you look really guilty. Ha ha ha!"

"Ugh! Linqin, go now. Go. Take care on your way," Xu Jia Li shooed Shen Linqin away.

Shen Linqin laughed as she rode inside the car. She waved at Xu Jia Li before she drove away, leaving Xu Jia Li alone on the bas.e.m.e.nt parking.

After a few minutes, Xu Jia Li walked towards the far- end corner of the bas.e.m.e.nt parking. Her heart fluttered when she saw the handsome and tall man standing beside his Maybach Exelero.

She grinned as she ran towards him, "Mr. Arrogant Si…"

Si Weimin smiled sweetly as he came closer before he hugged her. The two of them stayed lock on each other's arm.

Unknown to the two, someone was busy taking pictures of them, "This is getting even better…"

Harvest Condominium

Xu Jia Li woke up early since they had to shoot one more scene inside the studio before they moved into filming in a different location.

After she finished taking a shower, she wore her clothes as she emerged with a towel on her hair. She made excuses as she told Shen Linqin not to pick her up. It was because Si Weimin told her that he would drive her in the set.

She made herself a tea as she towel dried her hair. Suddenly, her doorbell rang. She hurriedly went to open the door. Before she did, she didn't forget to look at the door cam. When she saw that it was Si Weimin, she giddily opened the door.

She hugged him immediately after he entered inside. She looked at him with doe- like eyes before she delightedly asked, "Mr. Arrogant Si, should I make us breakfast?"

"Seems like Ms. Vicious- Tongue Xu is in high spirits. Happy to see me?"

Xu Jia Li nodded as she buried her blus.h.i.+ng face on his chest.

"What should I do now that you're head over heels in love with me?"

"Hmph! That's so arrogant of you to say!" Embarra.s.sed by the truthfulness of his words, Xu Jia Li ran inside her room.

She could still hear Si Weimin's laughter outside. She suddenly felt really embarra.s.sed. She didn't know why she suddenly hugged him. She sulked as she stared at her reflection on the vanity mirror.

"Ugh! Why are you acting like a love- starved woman? Argh!"

She put her hands on her face as she tried to pacify herself. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't realize that Si Weimin was standing behind her.

Si Weimin ruffled her hair as he spoke tenderly, "I love it when you act like a 'love- starved woman."

She froze on her seat when she heard his words. She slowly put down her hands as she stared at Si Weimin on the mirror. Seeing his gorgeous smile, she felt her soul being pulled out of her body by his magnetic charm.

"Stop gawking at me, Ms. Vicious- Tongue Xu. I know I'm really handsome."

"Pft! Who's gawking at who? How conceited!"

Instead of answering, she heard him laugh out loud. She rolled her eyes as she murmured, "Why do you always have to ruin the mood?"

As if hearing her words, Si Weimin chuckled before he held her shoulders and turned her around, facing him. Then, he slowly kissed her on the lips. The kiss lasted for a minute before he said, "Thank you for accepting my love for you. You made me the happiest man alive."

Sweet Memories Movie Studio

The entire crew was busy arranging the set when Xu Jia Li arrived.

"Good morning everyone!"

"Good morning, Miss Xu!" The film crew greeted her one after the other in which she returned with a warm smile.

"h.e.l.lo, Senior Xu! You seemed to be in a good mood."

Xu Jia Li heard Meng Lulu's lively voice before she entered the dressing room. She was really curious why Meng Lulu was there when her dressing room was situated at the opposite side of the studio.

"Senior Xu, I'm really excited for today's scene. I'll get to act with the three great actors and actress. I'll do my best!"

Xu Jia Li didn't know what to say so she just smiled before she excused herself. Shen Linqin arrived right after.

"Li-jie, the make-up artist and the hair stylist are here."

"Oh! Okay."

Shen Linqin elbowed Xu Jia Li as she asked teasingly, "What did you do last night, ah?"

"Shees.h.!.+ Linqin, don't be so nosy."

"Are you blus.h.i.+ng? Did something happen?"

"Linqin, stop." Xu Jia Li pinched Shen Linqin's side.

"Who is it? Is it Si Weimin?"

Even before Xu Jia Li could answer, the two make-up artists entered the room, "Good morning, Miss Xu!"

"Good morning!" she bowed at them before she sat on the stool. They started doing her make- up that the scene required.

"Miss Xu, your skin looks really great. It doesn't need foundation or concealer at all. You're very flawless. I can't believe how smooth your skin is." One of the make- up artist said.

"That's true, Miss Xu. You look like a G.o.ddess that even if you have to look pale in some of the scenes, your beauty still s.h.i.+nes." Agreed the other hair stylist as she began combing Xu Jia Li's hair.

"Thank you!"

Xu Jia Li answered meekly as she smiled at them. She really found it awkward when people began their boot licking.

After she was done, she made her way to the set. Seeing that the other casts were there as well, she bowed her head.

"Okay! This scene is really important since it's the time where the male lead visits the female lead and he will see the second male lead with her. Let's do our best so we could pack up early! Remember that tomorrow, we will proceed to another location."

"Yes, Director Han!"

Once the shooting began, Xu Jia Li showed her prowess in acting. She wowed the crew when Luo Daming as Yang Xin questioned her,

"Why? Why are you doing this to me?! Tell me, Suyin!"

"I don't love you anymore, Xin. Why can't you understand?"

"Dammit! Tell me! I don't believe you!"

"Why do I always have to burden myself with you? Is it still my fault that you don't want to believe me?"

Xu Jia Li made everyone on the set emotional after she said her lines to Luo Daming, "You don't force love…"

She could clearly show her character's portrayal of having cold exterior while her eyes showed her broken soul. This was the point in the movie where the female lead had to push the male lead away from her so she asked Li Yun to pretend to be her new boy friend.

Since the story was drama, it was a challenged for the artists to make the viewers felt what they were trying to convey.

"Cut!" Director Han exclaimed after the take, "Very nice! You all did great especially you, Ms. Xu."
