The second day in Tan Shang was not better than the first day. I woke up when the sun s.h.i.+ned through the windows and reflected on my face. I looked around me but no one was there, I turned my head and c.r.a.p I was gonna be late again for my first period.

My stomach started to grumble thinking about food, I didn't eat breakfast I just remembered. I walked out the cla.s.sroom and to a food stand.

"This and this please." I said as I pointed to the buns.

"4 coins." the man replied.

I reached into my pocket but I couldn't feel my money, oh c.r.a.p I forgot my money at home, I thought. I looked up to the man and smiled. "Free please?" I asked.

"Someone needs to make money you know!"

"Please?" I begged him.

The guy took the money and gave my the buns. I turned around and saw Qing Han, "Thank you, I'll pay you back I promise!" I said as I ran away from him. After I ran far enough, I took a deep breath and ate the buns, "that was very embarra.s.sing" I thought to myself. "How am I supposed to face him again?"

The sound of the gong echoed through the streets I was in. More and more people started to gather and the compet.i.tion began, it was the Fighting Compet.i.tion to earn coins.

"Is it very that necessary to fight and risk your life to earn coins?" I thought.
