Laura Resnick Doppelgangster "Resnick introduces a colorful cast of gangsters and their a.s.sociates as she spins a witty, fast-paced mystery around her convincingly self-absorbed chorus-girl heroine. s.e.xy interludes raise the tension as she juggles magical a.s.sailants, her perennially distracted agent, her meddling mother, and wiseguys both friendly and threatening in a well-crafted, rollicking mystery."-Publishers Weekly "Esther Diamond is the Stephanie Plum of urban fantasy! Unplug the phone and settle down for a fast and funny read!"-Mary Jo Putney "Dopplegangster is a joy from start to finish, with a s.e.xy hero, a smart heroine, a fascinating plot, and a troop of supporting characters both lovable and otherwise. It's a wonderful blend of comedy and surprising suspense. If you haven't met Esther Diamond yet, then you're missing out on a lot of fun."

Patrick Rothfuss THE NAME OF THE WIND.

The Kingkiller Chronicle: Day One "It is a rare and great pleasure to come on somebody writing not only with the kind of accuracy of language that seems to me absolutely essential to fantasy-making, but with real music in the words as well.... Oh, joy!"
