Have you seen "Bird Box"? When I saw that movie, I was still "blindfolded" so to speak. Now my eyes are "open" and I'm seeing "it" way too clearly. I'm still in that sensitive phase where every shadow of a threat could make me jump, but I am slowly getting over it. If you're already on the same page with me, you'll know I have a specific agenda for writing this story. The problem is, I can't tell whether you're standing with me or not -- my ability to trust is shot at the moment. I'm scared of finding out later that I've wasted my efforts because all the story managed to attract were the very type of people I want to "unmask." These people don't care what state anyone else is in. If they smell blood, they'll come to feed. I fully expect my "collection" count to drop after this, and I'm prepared to lose voters and followers. But you know what? I don't care. I used to, it's true, now I don't. SOME people are capable of change -- for the better. That's what happens when they're willing to learn and grow, not blindly believe in their own superiority and mindlessly try to destroy others. I don't know if you guys realize, I can still write even if I stop publis.h.i.+ng here, and I will. If I find there's enough of you here on WN willing to stop being victimized and "join the revolution" so to speak, then I'll continue releasing chapters on this platform (which seemed to have blocked my access to Inkstone from my PC, but I hope that's just a glitch and everyone's affected -- but see this? I'm still in the grip of paranoia, and that's just one of the effects "they" could have on you, if you let them).

The resources below really helped me a lot in my "research" for this story, as well as in my slow, painful, but necessary road to recovery. I hope those of you out there who need them will also be helped, and when I have my comfy stockpile and start releasing chapters again, I REALLY hope... haaah, yeah.
