Lu Sheng held Lu Jiang’s and Lu Xin’s hands and bade farewell to Mdm Zhao and He Qin before leaving with He Lai.

When they passed by Liu Yue Village, Lu Sheng sent the two children home before continuing her journey with He Lai to town.

He Lai lifted the curtain and mumbled as he looked in front.

At this moment, an ox cart appeared in their line of sight.

The coachman smiled. “I just came back from town.”
