Soul-Leech feeds on the fear of people and when a person is too scared to even look at them that is when they strike, that is when a person's mind is too weak to resist any attacks from them that will lead to the Soul-Leech being the one in control over the person body.

The name Soul-Leech doesn't mean that they attach to a person's soul but their name is just as it spells, they look like souls and they will leech on a person's body to stay alive.

The more a Soul-Leech transfers body and lives longer, the more knowledgeable it is about the world, thousands of years of knowledge in a single soul.

When a Soul-Leech takes over a person's body, their soul goes into slumber is replaced by the Soul-Leech which will control their brain.

If a Soul-Leech loose control over one's brains they immediately get expelled from the body and results in their death, but the experience they collected for years will be transferred into the person's brain and when their soul comes out from the slumber it will have access to it, that is also what happened to Sara.

A Soul-Leech can transfer themselves from one body to another by a special ritual which will prevent them from dying in an instant, they always need a body to be alive.

Newborn Soul-Leeches are different, they can stay alive outside a body until they find a host for themselves, once they find a host body, they will lose their ability to stay alive outside a body.

So why do they do this? because they cannot grow further, they are just like newborn babies but with no mind of their own, once they get a body they will gain all the experience that person already had and develop it further.

Once a Soul-leech takes over a hosts body, the body's heartbeat slows down and the aging slows down exceptionally, the host's body will improve its functionality and they grow powerful than average humans.

Soul-Leeches are completely opposite to Insectivours, the younger generation of Insectivours are always stronger than the older one, while the Soul-Leeches are more powerful the older they are.

Every time a Soul-Leech transfer from one body to another, they will carry all the experience from that body to the new one, enhancing the new body even further, but doing so will destroy the old body.

In Sara's case, the Soul-Leech lost control over her brain when Jason got into it, causing it to suddenly get expelled out, as this happened the soul of Sara who was in slumber for 30 years got back its control over its body.

But that doesn't mean it's safe, if a Soul-Leech dies before the body they leave the fear of Soul-leeches behind their victim's mind so another Soul-Leech can take over and the experience it gained for all those years will be received by their own species.

When Jason made Sara forget her fear of these Soul-leeches she couldn't be taken over by another Soul-leeches again unless the person who put that Soul-Leech in her shows up and do the same thing to her again, how do they achieve it is by scaring the person to their core, once they are too scared a Soul-Leech will be able to enter the new host's body and control it.

Jason has no idea what these things are but he really doesn't care, he realized that he could kill them so he has no need to worry about them.

He is currently outside shopping for some dresses for Sara, he has no idea what a woman would like, he just entered a branded women's clothing store and asked the sales person to choose a few dresses instead.

"Sir what color does your girlfriend likes?"

She thought that Jason is buying for his girlfriend as most men do when they come alone in this store, she was not new to these situations.

"She is not a picky person, she would like anything"

"Oh, Sir you seem to be a very lucky person to have a girlfriend like that"

"Indeed"

Of course, Jason has no idea what Sara likes and don't, he didn't want to waste any time and let the saleswoman think about what she can.

"Just wait a moment sir, I will bring everything that your girlfriend will surely love"

"Ok, please hurry"

Jason said and looked outside, soon the saleswoman came back with lots and lots of bag filled with all kind of dresses, Jason has no clue what they contain, he just glanced at them and paid for it.

"Deliver all this to this address"

Jason gave an address to her, the saleswoman agreed and told one of the delivery boys to quickly deliver all these products to the given address.

Jason walked out and decided to go back to the hotel room, of course, he could have taken all those back with him but he didn't want to carry them.

As he left the shopping mall, he noticed a few men in black suits were following him.

'Now, what did I do to get the attention of these men'

Jason thought and started to walk around, he noticed that they are very persistent in following him.

'Now I am really curious who might it be that sent these men after me'

Jason though and started to search for a dark alley.
