74 ''Done''

"[Ecce ego dominatus rationibus imponeret meum] (Here I impose my dominance)" Arima started chanting at the same time.

"[Hoc iusiurandum] (Here I make an oath)" Although he didn't know what kind of power it was, he could still think of a chant to stabilize it.

"[Hic forte involvam te c.u.m argento] (Here I destroy you with this silver)"

"[Omniformis]"

At the end of his chant, the silver light shrouded his figure. After that, his eyes turned into a deep purple, illuminated by the silver glow of his sigil. His hair grew even more and became completely silver. His scales stayed black but a white light illuminated them like a light was placed behind. Only the web of Arima's wings turned silver.

"[Ipsum clauderent] (Close yourself)" Arima started chanting something else immediately. His voice sounding extremely powerful and cold.

"[Captionem frangere solvere eliminare] (Trap, crush, destroy, eliminate)" The Silver Emperor's mark started spinning madly, at the same pace as the sigil.

"[Origo tantum perdere] (Your only motive is to destroy)"

"[Esses nisi quod ad rem] (Your existence is only for that purpose)"

Arima's eyes flashed with a cold light as he looked at the planet coming toward him. Suddenly a light blue transparent wall formed itself in front of him.

"[Second Destruction Art, Cavum nigrum]" A black marble appeared in Arima's hand. The latter threw it and it pa.s.sed through the blue wall.

After flying in s.p.a.ce for a few seconds, the marble cracked and exploded into a spiral of darkness, even absorbing the light coming from the stars. A black hole was forming just in front of Arima.

It became bigger and bigger, it only took a few seconds for it to be even bigger than the planet. If it was compared to the Earth, it would be two times bigger than the latter.

The asteroids deriving in s.p.a.ce started being aspired by the black hole before disappearing in the darkness. The course of the ashen planet also changed and started to directly go toward it.

At that point, the distance between the planet and the hole was only a few tens of thousands of miles. On the planet, the earth started to shake, the rocks began to hover and leave the atmosphere, the water at the surface also flew up like a whirlwind and directly headed toward the black hole.

The last inhabitants of the planet were doing their best to not be absorbed by the black hole.

A certain individual on the planet looked at the sky and looked beyond the black hole, he saw a blue light and another, silver, just behind it. That man's skin seemed to be made of stone and he was also very tall, around five meters.

That man kicked the ground and left a huge crater on the surface of the planet. He left the atmosphere of his planet in just a few seconds and charged at Arima. He was also doing his best to not be caught by the black hole.

He arrived in a few minutes in front of the blue wall and waved a great sword at it, but the latter pa.s.sed through it, which surprised him. In the end, he pa.s.sed through the wall and realized the attraction of the black hole disappeared.

Then, he concentrated on what was behind, he looked at a small man with silver hair and a draconic appearance. But when he crossed the man's look, he froze. Those purple eyes felt like h.e.l.l itself like it was going to destroy him in an instant.

He roared, he didn't know any language. He knew he had to kill this man, but at the same time, he knew that it was impossible for him to win.

While he trying his best to move and attack. The other side pointed his palm at him and he backed away by a step, but he soon realized that he couldn't move at all.

Instead, Arima clenched his hand and slowly pulled what seemed to be an invisible rope. The big stone man approached him in consequence.

When he was near enough, Arima grabbed him by his throat "Fourth sky, huh?" He muttered and the stone man roared one more time while choking.

"You're strong, but not enough" Arima said and his eyes started to look like purple flames "[Fifth Black Art, Penitentia conspiciunt]" He chanted and the stone man started to roar. This was his last struggle before his death.

Arima collected his life force and cremated the body. Just like that, an individual at the fourth sky died. At this moment, Arima had resonated and used the Omniform. Maybe his actual power was now around the first divine. And the scariest thing is that he still wasn't at his full power.

After that, it was only a matter of time. The planet continued to crumble slowly until the moment some big chunks began to fall apart. The lithosphere was torn off, multiple natural catastrophes occurred.

At some point, a strange white sphere, s.h.i.+ning with a blue light, was extracted from the planet itself. Arima deduced that it was the core of this planet, or the heart of this Earthen G.o.d to be exact.

Natural Earthen G.o.ds don't possess any fighting strength. The core just produced a really powerful sound that sounded like a dying struggle, that even made Arima frown, before it was destroyed by the black hole.

The planet finished in some huge asteroids that were eaten by the black hole, along with the people on it. When the black hole finished its job, the gravitational field stopped attracting things but the black hole itself didn't disappear.

Arima dispelled the blue wall and the black hole started to tilt and face Arima like a living being "Big guy, spit it out" Arima ordered and the black hole suffered a change.

From the center, where the gravity was supposed to be absolute. A blue mist flew out and made its way toward Arima. The latter breathed in and aspired everything "[Vita Venari]" He chanted and his eyes glowed stronger for a moment.

"You can go away now" Arima said toward the black hole. Strangely, it listened and started to become smaller, until it disappeared.

"{The second art of destruction is really scary}" Night commented "{Since that thing is alive, it's capable of moving in s.p.a.ce and also can become autonomous with the life force of the victims, as long as you don't take it}"

Arima breathed out and released his silver aura "Yeah, you're right. I gave this magic sentience because it would be bad to lose control of it, also because like that, it can spit out the life force instead of destroying it" He responded.

Night sighed "{When I think of the first art, I remember what kind of monster you are}"

Arima smiled wryly and teleported away without any comment.

***************************************

He came back to the Mother Tree and sat down on the couch, released the resonance at the same time, and Night jumped back on his shoulder.

"Done" Arima simply said and looked at Seria. He took out a lollipop and waited patiently.

Seria's eyes widened, he had only left for around an hour. She hurriedly grabbed a white orb that was placed on the table and closed her eyes. She linked all the forest together and called her comrades.

Arima silently looked at her and shrugged "By the way Jorga, don't worry, it was my fault so let's say that my debt still counts" He engaged a conversation with Jorga.

"Oh" The latter's expression brightened, then he laughed "Fine, I accept it with pleasure"

At that moment, Seria put the orb down and looked at Arima with a pale expression "…What happened? What did you do?" She asked with a heavy tone.

Arima glanced at her "I destroyed the planet, nothing more, nothing less"

Seria bit her lips "If you could do that, why didn't you just send them away? Why did you destroy it? Why did you kill them?"

Arima frowned and tilted his head "What are you talking about, I asked you, right?" At these words, Seria's eyes narrowed "I asked you if there were still people on the planet and what kind of people they were" Arima continued.

Seria gritted her teeth "I said that" She clenched her hands and stared at Arima "But why did you have to eliminate them like that!? If you could destroy it, you could have sent it away! Why did you choose to kill them?!" She raised her voice and the dimension they were in started to feel extremely cold and an aura spread around.

Jorga was shocked, Lifa was even scared while the former acted to protect her. Arima reacted weakly, and just waved his hand, the aura instantly disappeared and left the dryad in total disarray. That aura was definitely around the third sky, but Arima brushed it away like that. He already went up to the fifth sky thanks to the life force he received, it's impossible that someone like her could become a problem. Night shook his head and sighed.

"What did you want me to do?" Arima asked after a few seconds of silence "I couldn't transfer the planet away without it willing to. I could have teleported the inhabitants but where could I send them? Even if I had convinced that Natural E-G.o.d, one more time, where could I send them? Should I have transferred it somewhere randomly, and allowed it to attack another planet? There was also the case where they couldn't find any place to live even after that and die in suffering on their own planet"

Each time Arima said something, Seria became even paler and her mind weaker "I took the decision to eliminate them because it was the best solution" Arima added and stood up, preparing to leave.

"…You're wrong" Seria said before that "You're wrong, and you're lying!" She raised her head, she already had tears in the corner of her eyes "You just didn't want to help them, you considered that it wasn't your problem. You chose the easiest and fastest method. And you made that choice without any remorse. I'm sure you a.s.sisted in its destruction, I'm sure you heard and saw everything. Didn't you see any tears? Didn't you hear any screams? How many innocent lives did you destroy today? How many children, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters did you make cry!?" She stared at Arima and began to cry herself.

"I heard that you were someone kind, but after today" She paused and clenched her hands one more time until they bled "I will never consider you as a good person anymore"

Arima indifferently looked at her "I never considered myself as a good man. I'm not a hero, I'm a killer. I'm kind, but not benevolent. I'm just, but not biased" He declared and turned toward Jorga and Lifa "Until next time" He said and turned around.

"You're a good person, but you're not made to be a hero. That notion itself is wrong. It's impossible for a single person to be a hero. You'll never be one if someone dies while you save another. That's just a pipe dream. You can't save someone while accepting the death of another, and then call yourself a hero. That's why it's just impossible to be an ally of justice. You can only be on one side of the balance at a time" He spoke to Seria a final time and left.

The latter lost strength in her legs and sat down on the couch. She breathed in and sighed strongly. Jorga looked at her and shook his head "I told you, Arima is not someone to take lightly. A man this strong, can't be someone soft, it's the truth" He said and jumped on Lifa's shoulder.

"Let's go, Lifa. She needs to be alone for a moment" Jorga said and closed his eyes. Lifa nodded with a heavy expression and left Seria alone.
