He looked back at Night who was staring at him "I'm sorry for disrespecting you and your partner" He apologized.

Night sneered "I'll let you go away with that" He still didn't like his att.i.tude but still returned to his wolf form and sat as small cub "So, what's your proposition? Arima isn't someone materialistic, what do you want to give him?" He asked, he just wanted to leave right now, actually.

"What would he want?" The king asked, a bit more respectful than before.

"If it was Arima, he would just have asked you to owe him one" Night said and the king's expression fell. For a king to be in debt with someone is never an ideal situation.

"You can also list me what you could give him, I'll see if there is something interesting" Night added after a few seconds.

The king extended his hand toward the man standing beside him, the same person who didn't say a thing since the beginning, he also didn't show any reaction when Night transformed back. When the king extended his arm to him, he gave him a certain folder.

The king threw it at Night. The latter caught it with magic and flipped the pages with kinesis. It took him a few minutes to look through all the thing. After that, he threw back the folder and fell into deep thought.

The royal family patiently waited.

"No, there's nothing that could interest him in there" Night ultimately said and the king sighed.

"Do you have any suggestion?" The latter asked.

Night mused for a moment "I think that the most interesting thing you have in this country for Arima, is the manufacture method for dungeons" He said after a moment.

The king fell silent and started debating in his mind "It shouldn't be a problem" Ofia said before he could decide anything. He looked at her.

"You know that in the dungeons plans there is the way to destroy its defenses, it's still dangerous" He said to her.

Ofia smiled and nodded "Yes, I know. But from what I saw, that man isn't someone who would do that for no reason. He also saved thousands of people yesterday, even though he wasn't accountable for it" She said "You can give him the plans without worry"

The king quietly listened to her and closed his eyes for a moment "Fine, I'll grant your request. But you'll have to wait, we only have the original records so we'll make a copy for you in the shortest time possible" He said and ordered the man beside him with his eyes. The latter nodded and vanished from his position.

"Well, send someone to bring it at the Inn we're staying" Night said and was ready teleport away when Ofia interrupted him.

"Wait!" She said hurriedly and Night looked back at her "From the records of the guild, your name is Night Bahamut, right?" She asked and Night nodded "Sir Night, can I ask what Arimane plan to do in the future?"

Night frowned "Why would you want to know that?"

At his question, Ofia smiled wryly "Please, understand that we can't have a peaceful mind when we know that someone like that is wandering in our city" She said

"Fair enough" Night shrugged "In three days, Arima will head to the FDA to work there as an instructor" He said and tilted his head and tried to remember "I think it was for around…two months" He said.

When the royal family heard that, their eyes widened, particularly the two daughters "That was unexpected" Ofia said and smiled "Then I'll be able to see him sooner than I thought, me and my sister are students there" She explained.

"Ooh" Night exclaimed "I'll tell it to Arima. Well, on this note, bye" He said and teleported without any other comment.

After Night left, Kyle let out a sigh of relief and turned toward a certain direction of the throne room, there, the man who should have disappeared to make a copy of the plans, reappeared "What do you think, Elion?" The king asked him.

Elion nodded "At first I thought that I would meet the individual directly but, I now realize that his soul beast is more than enough" He said in a gloomy voice "That beast, that dragon's strength is maybe around the same as mine" He added and the king's eyes narrowed.

"There's no doubt about a thing, the man who created such a soul beast can only be a monster among humans. I think, not only Center City, he could also destroy this continent alone. I don't even dare to imagine what he could do when he resonates with his soul beast" Elion slowly explained.

The king sighed "Thank you, you don't need to care about him anymore for now. Concentrate on what happened yesterday and if you find something about the attackers, report it"

"Understood" Elion complied and really left the throne room this time.

"Ofia, Lena" The king turned toward his daughters "I'm counting on you to keep that man in check, also try to keep a good relation with him" He said and his daughters nodded. He stood up and looked at where Night was a moment ago "…A man who can resurrect people is definitely someone we have to pay attention to" He muttered and also left the place.

"So, you asked for the dungeon manufacture method?" Lilis asked to Night the same day, at the usual Inn, the latter had explained to Lanya and Lilis what had happened.

"Yeah, there was nothing that could interest Arima other than that" Night casually said.

"The dungeons, huh?" Lilis muttered "When that thing was created, even us G.o.ds were surprised, you know?" She suddenly said.

Night's eyes widened "It surprised you? Is that possible for normal humans to surprise you?"

Lilis laughed "Usually, no. But, did you know, the man who single-handedly created dungeons, is the same that created the soul beast summoning" She said

Night and Lanya turned to be extremely shocked at her words "That human wasn't that strong, but maybe his understanding of magic theory was better than Arima's. Actually, Heaven had already created things like soul summon and dungeons, and they were of better quality. But that freak had created those things from nothing, as a simple human. That really surprised us" Lilis said while reminiscing.

Night frowned "Wait, G.o.ds use soul beasts too?" He asked

"No, they use soul manifestations, basically, G.o.ds directly use resonance and don't need a soul beast" She said "But their soul manifestations don't need to be something like a transformation, it can be a weapon or a certain ultimate magic" She smiled and explained.

Night was thunderstruck by that "It's actually really better than soul beasts. They don't need to resonate with someone and their transformations is practically unstoppable as it's their own body transformed, and not resonated with a different being" He said.

"Yes" Lilis nodded and pointed at Lanya "For example, Lanya's dragon form is something that is integrated in her body thanks to Chronepsis, it's a bit the same thing" She smiled and looked back at Night "But it should be okay with you and Arima, your bond is strong enough to stabilize your resonance to the maximum" She said

"Is that so?" Night nodded in understanding "By the way, Lilis, about the thing you told me about Life Hunters, I thought about it for a while, but why do we need to keep it a secret from Arima? He is the last person that needs consideration" He suddenly changed of subject.

Lilis smiled and took a sip of some wine "It's actually not something that is perturbing or scary, and I'm sure Arima wouldn't be shocked about it. But, in this case, it's something that he can't control, the moment he learns it, there will be chances for him to fail the Life Judgement" She explained and also spoke a word that Arima or Lanya never heard before.

The latter was surprised and curious about what they were talking, to the point it needed to be hid from Arima. Lilis smiled and looked back at her "You don't need to know, well you can tell all you want about this to Arima, either way, I think he already knows we're hiding something from him. But I won't give you details, you don't seem to be very good at acting" Lilis said with a grin on her face.

Lanya groaned cutely, but she couldn't deny that, she really wasn't that good to keep huge secrets like that. And in front of someone like Arima, she would be like an open book.

Then, finally, three days later. At some huge building which looked very refined and clean. Some young people were walking and babbling in the corridors.

"Did you hear? There's a temporary teacher coming, starting from today" The most spoken line of the day was this one.

"Yes, I heard about it. Apparently, it's even a Z rank mercenary"

"Nonsense. Why would someone like a Z rank, who stand atop, come here to teach at a school" Some would also deny it like that.

And in a courtyard, there was a certain gathering of people, it was bunch of students surrounding a pretty girl that looked very fragile. It was Ofia.

"Yes, it is really a Z rank, I even had the chance to meet him" The latter said to the students around her. All of them were curious about a mercenary teacher like that, so they kept asking questions about him.

"Well, from the guild records, his name is Arimane Blade and the t.i.tle given to him was Kind Demon. The strongest person in our citadel even said that he was a monster among humans, just by seeing his soul beast" With those words from Ofia, everyone started imagining what kind of person Arima was.

The girls would think of someone really dependable and strong while the guys would come up with the image of someone really cool to which they can look up to.

At the same time, in the same building, the FDA, Arima was meeting an old man in a pretty room, well decorated with some trophies and art pieces. Night was on Arima's shoulder while Lanya was sitting beside him. Lilis wasn't there, she said that she had something to do and returned to Heaven.

"I'm greatly honored to welcome someone like you as our instructor. Actually, I don't know if you're aware but, our academy actually sends this request every year, most of the times we got the same SS rank mercenaries who were eager to teach and only once did an SSS rank come. It was really a surprise when I heard that a Z was coming this time" The old man started talking happily.

That person was actually the princ.i.p.al, and Arima was meeting him by courtesy "It's okay, it seems really interesting and entertaining to teach younger generations" The latter had a really respectful att.i.tude for some reason.

The old man laughed, he handed a doc.u.ment and a key to Arima "Here's the cla.s.s you were a.s.signed to, the contents of your lecture is based on your choices, we are just asking you to teach them how to live in this world and the work of a mercenary and basically, to teach them a how to fight" The princ.i.p.al said.

Arima smiled "No problem, I can do that"

The princ.i.p.al smiled and stood up, he then extended his hand toward Arima for a handshake. The latter returned the action and shook his hand "I hope you spend a good time here" The princ.i.p.al said.

"Do not worry, it's my pleasure" Arima smiled and responded. Lanya smiled awkwardly too, not knowing why Arima was so respectful and patient with that old man.
