"I don't care anymore" Arima blankly observed the mansion and said. His group easily entered the mansion thanks to Lanya. It felt like everyone there knew about her. They were led to a room by a maid and were left waiting there.

"Ooooh" Arima exclaimed and headed to the table in the center of the room. He sat down and began to eat all the sweets placed there. Lilis and Lanya followed him and began to eat with him. Night laid down on a couch and closed his eyes.

They waited for around five minutes before a figure barged in the room and directly jumped on Lanya to hug her. She had a pet.i.te figure, gold hair and eyes and beautiful pair of transparent wings. She truly looked like a fairy.

"Lanya!" The fairy called in a loud voice

"Vinia, it's good to see you again" Lanya smiled and said

"Yeah" Vinia calmed down and stood back on the ground after letting Lanya free. When she observed Lanya with a closer look, she tilted her head "Have you gotten bigger?" She asked

"Yes" Lanya wryly smiled and answered

"It's a shame, it was fun to have someone as small as me" The princess said an extremely selfish thing and quickly looked around the room "Who is that?" She looked at Arima who was idly stuffing himself and Lilis who was smiling, looking at her.

"They're friends of mine" Lanya said to her

"Humans, huh?" Vinia mumbled "So? Why have you come here?" She turned towards Lanya and asked

"Of course, I wanted to see you. I'm extremely thankful to you, so I thought of coming to see you" Lanya smiled and explained

Vinia laughed like a little girl "Then let's talk, I want to know what happened to you since last time we met" She said

Lanya was caught off guard, she glanced at Arima "But…" She hesitated

"What? He doesn't know about your past?" Vinia asked and Lanya nodded

Arima glanced at them "Go on, it's not like my att.i.tude towards you will change in any way" He said to Lanya and finished a biscuit

Lanya acquiesced and began to tell her story. It took her around ten minutes to finish.

Like she had said before, she was born in the Republic in a small village, the only paternal figure she had was her mother, the latter never told her about her father. She lived a peaceful life until she was ten. When Lanya was ten, the village discovered that she had monster genes in her.

"Apparently, my mother…had been raped by a monster, and I was the child that resulted from that" She said

At the age of ten, some strange scales began to appear on her body, it wasn't long before she and her mother became the target of the village's disgust. In the end, Lanya's mother was backed off to a corner and forced to commit suicide. After that, Lanya was chased out of the village like an animal, they didn't kill her because they had, after all, lived with her for ten years.

So, like that, Lanya began to wander in the continent like a fugitive, she had to hide her appearance from others and work to be able to eat. It continued until she met Vinia while the latter was out to a meeting with her father. Vinia took care of her for a moment and they became friends, but Lanya insisted on leaving, ultimately Vinia agreed and gave her some food, weapons and clothes and let her go.

At that time, Lanya wanted to go to the monster territory, she wanted to go there and find her father and kill him for vengeance. It was an immature and reckless thought. While she was in the monster territory she learned how to fight and survive and it was also at that time that she received the inheritance of Chronepsis and her body stopped growing and at the same time, her body returned to being like a normal human. While giving her the inheritance, Chronepsis also gave her the information about her father, maybe out of sympathy.

In the end, Lanya attacked the lizard clan to find her father who actually had kind of a high statute. She succeeded in killing him but she was captured in the process, to finally be sold to a certain vampire and bought by Arima some time later.

Arima, Lilis and Vinia attentively listened to her, even Night perked his ear.

"I see, so the reason you insisted on leaving this place was because of revenge" Vinia said "And you even received the power of a G.o.d" She was still a bit surprised "Still, why would a G.o.d encourage revenge, that's ridiculous" Apparently, she was a bit mad against Chronepsis for giving Lanya information about her father.

"What's wrong with that?" Arima intruded

"Eh?" Lanya was surprised and looked at him

"What do you mean?" While Vinia sent him daggers with her eyes

"Revenge. Who are you to say that it's a bad thing? People who say revenge is evil are those who can't accomplish it. Vendetta, vengeance, revenge, for me, all of these are justice in its purer form" Arima said

"Justice?" Vinia frowned

"Yes, revenge can also be called retribution, punishment. That's how justice should be, not the disgusting thing people call laws and that were tainted with misplaced morals" Arima said with a hint of anger

Vinia fell silent for a moment, she looked at Lanya for a second. She was smiling in relief and happiness, maybe. The main reason she was against telling her past to Arima was because or her origins and the fact that she sought vengeance by killing her biological father.

Vinia sighed and stood up. She stared at Arima "You were the one who saved her so I thank you for that, but" She released her aura of the eight level in the room "If you make her sad or if something happens to her, I will then take your advice and give justice" She said strongly.

Arima grinned and took a sip of tea while Lilis began to laugh really hard "You have a great resolve little girl and you want to protect your friend, that's admirable" She spoke to Vinia "But you shouldn't say that to someone who can single-handedly destroy your country" She smirked and said.

"What?" Vinia was shocked by those words, she turned to look at Lanya and the latter smiled and shrugged. Vinia felt like she had done something really stupid and embarra.s.sing, she retrieved her aura and bowed to Arima "Sorry about that" She apologized

"Don't mind" Arima waved and said

"Still, Vinia, usually you didn't snap like that before, what happened?" Lanya asked

Vinia sat down on a chair and sighed "Actually, I'm having a bad experience with a human right now" She complained

"Bad experience?" Lanya was curious

"A few month ago, I went with father to the capital for a meeting with the King. There, I stumbled upon the first prince. 'I fell in love with you at sight' he said" Vinia told with a great annoyance in her voice "Since then, he kept proposing to me and lately it transformed into threats" She said "Of course I looked into his reputation and what I found is a dark rumor that he has the hobby of seducing and luring women to have fun then throw them away, some of them even disappeared"

"Is that information reliable?" Lanya was shocked and asked

"It's reliable. I investigated that rumor deeply" Vinia sighed and said

"That's…" Lanya was speechless "…What kind of threats did he gave you?" And asked

"Things like declaring war against the Spirits, spreading false rumors about us or sabotaging our trades" She shrugged and said

Lanya furrowed "Does he really have that kind of power?"

"Yes, unfortunately, he's greatly influent, even with the King. He possesses a lot of helpers among the n.o.bles too" Vinia said helplessly

The room fell in silence, only the sound of Arima and Lilis eating was still resounding in the room.

"Arima, do you have an idea?" Lanya couldn't stand the silence and asked

"Mh" Arima was idly listening until now so he was a bit late to react "Oh. Well, in my opinion, there's a really easy solution" He said

"Really?" Vinia's expression brightened

"Yeah, someone like that, you just need to kill him" He said and took a bite on a biscuit

Now, the silence came back and it was even more unbearable than before

"What's wrong? I can do it from here if you want" Arima said to break the silence. Before anyone could stop him, he released his aura towards the sky. Like a guided missile, his aura flew around two thousand and half kilometers away, to the human capital.

Above the human city, the sky began to darken and every citizen looked at the clouds gathering. Soon after that, all of them felt a wave of spirit going through them. The strong people around the continent got the same thought at the same time

"(That guy again…)"

The clouds above the city began to turn black and thunder rumbled, black lightning hovered around the city like it was threatening it.

"So? Just tell me how he looks like and the problem is solved" Back in the spirit realm, Arima waved his hand, a projection of the human city appeared in the room, Arima kept pointing his finger above the projection and moving it, a black lightning followed. While doing that he asked Vinia.

The latter was already gaping, she didn't know how to react but when she heard the question Arima just asked her, she regained her thought of process "Wait! I don't need you to do that! Also, the prince is at the eight level, you can't kill him just like that!" She urgently said

Arima looked blankly at her "If it's only the eight level, I can do it in one lightning, two if I'm unlucky" He said

"That's okay! I don't want someone else to kill for me!" Vinia shouted

Arima stared at her "Did you already forget what I said?"

"I…" The fairy couldn't say anything in return

Arima shrugged, the projection vanished and the clouds above the human city dispersed. All the humans breathed in relief.

"If it only was me, I would have directly eliminated him but I'll respect your opinion since you are Lanya's friend" Arima said

"Thank you" Vinia bowed her head

"Well, I have an idea of dealing with this without killing him though" Arima uttered just after

"What is it?"

"Simple, you just need to-" Arima froze in the middle of his sentence. He closed his eyes like he was listening seriously to something

"Mh?" Lilis and Lanya were confused and Vinia tilted her head

Arima slowly stood up, he opened his eyes "Sorry, I have to go somewhere" He said and turned towards the couch in the corner of the room "Night, stay here and take care of that guy, I don't think I need your help on this one" He said and Night nodded

"Eh?" Vinia was shocked when she saw Night, because the couch was black and Night didn't move or say anything since the beginning, she didn't realize he was in the room.

"Then, later" Arima waved his hand to say bye and teleported away

The room one more time fell into silence, this time, the three girls looked at Night in curiosity, they were curious about what Arima was going to say earlier. The wolf furrowed and began to talk.
