Arima yawned and looked around a bit, he realized he was laying against the wall with a blanket on him, he was also more healed than he thought he would be. Night also saw that, and he himself, although he was in a dragon form, was placed in a more comfortable position and his scales were washed.

Arima spotted Lanya sleeping in a corner and chuckled a bit as he stood up. Night retuned to being a wolf, being smaller is more comfortable sometimes.

Arima and Night sat in front of each other "So? What happened?" The latter asked

Arima scratched his head "I have an idea" He said and looked strangely at ground "First of all, that thing was aiming at me because I released my killing intent, obviously, meaning that someone or something sensed it and decided to eliminate me" he continued

Night quietly listened

"Now here's the important part" Arima became serious "Chronepsis told me that I would be chased by G.o.ds, Heavenly G.o.ds and Earthen G.o.ds. The Heavenly G.o.ds are most likely the same as the one who sent me in this world after my death" He said, of course, Nighty already knew that Arima was from another world

"As for the Earthen G.o.ds, it's most likely something like that" He said and pointed to the ground with his thumb "Pure mana"

Night followed his finger and instantly understood "Are you saying that this planet just attacked you by attraction an asteroid?" He asked

"No, that's not this one. That thing wouldn't attract something that could destroy and kill everything on its surface. I saw it last time, the spirit inhabiting the planet is really protective" Arima explained "I think that some other Earthen G.o.d just attacked me" He said

"Hey, are you saying that another planet just tried to kill you" Arima frowned "You're sure of that?"

"It may not be a planet, it may be something else, but the remnants of mana I felt on the last part I sent away, was without a doubt a 100% pure" He said

Night took a few seconds to process the information "How do we act now?" He finally asked "If you're still alive, won't he try to kill you one more time? Sorry, but I can't keep destroying meteorites indefinitely"

"I don't think that's a problem, as long as I keep my killing intent from now on, it should be alright. I presume that he knew I was here just because he felt it. Now, he must be thinking that he killed me. I don't think he will be able to sense me one more time without my killing intent, because we're too small for him" Arima said with a strange smile

Night furrowed "You're planning something aren't you?"

Arima laughed lightly "I need to become stronger, for now, 'Life Hunt' is the best way I have" He grinned "I can't use it on the guy we're standing on but I can most likely do it for the guy who tried to kill me along with billions of people" He said

"What?" Night was startled "Are you saying that you want to steal the life force of an Earthen G.o.d?"

"Why not? He began hostilities first" Arima smirked

Night sighed heavily. Arima looked at a corner "Why don't you stop faking and just say 'Good morning'" Arima smiled and said

Lanya trembled, she slowly opened her eyes and sit down properly "…Good evening" She said a little fl.u.s.tered

"Mh?" Arima was surprised "Ah, sorry, yeah it's night time, I forgot. Anyway, don't you want to join the conversation?"

Lanya shook her head "That's okay, but I have something to say" Sha said and looked at Arima "For me, you were targeted, I'm sorry" And apologized

"Don't worry, you don't have to feel sorry for that. I would have done it someday anyway, also don't be sorry when I did it that way just because I was too lazy to do it otherwise" Arima said

Lanya bitterly laughed "Thank you" She said

"Good" Arima stood up and stretched a bit "Let's go, we still have to finish our job in the undead zone" He said

"Wait, you're still not fully healed!" Lanya was a bit agitated

Arima looked at her "What are you talking about? It's you who have to fight for now" He smiled and said

"Ah" She realized it was true

"Azes, this time we really have a problem" In the G.o.d's realm, Zesta barged in Azes's room and said

"What is it?" The latter was working on a desk, he was writing on some strange papers that vanished in white particles when he finished.

"That human really did it this time" Zesta sat down on a couch and said

"Mh?" Azes was curious

"Slaughter intent" She said

Azes was stunned for a moment "Impossible, I didn't feel it when I retrieved his soul!"

"Apparently you missed it, an Earthen One tried to kill him" She said

Azes began to ponder seriously

"One more thing" Zesta's tone turned grim "He's a Life Hunter"

Azes was shocked when he heard that, he stood up and hit the table. He began to laugh madly "They're not extinct! There was actually one hiding in a circuit-less world!" He said happily

"What are you going to do? Now that an Earthen One has acted, others will notice something" She said, without knowing it, she already was on the same side as Azes.

"In what planet did I send him? Which Earthen One attacked him?" Azes asked

"He's in planet 5B. Also, the one who attacked him was Errastas" She said

"That's okay then, Errastas is known to be whimsical, also even if other Heavenly G.o.ds find out about him they won't do anything soon. You're also one of the only G.o.ds who have enough time to spend looking at a simple human" Azes said to Zesta

"I was just curious" She said in return

"You can go down a bit if you want to meet him, that would be interesting. Also, help him hide his Life Hunter's ident.i.ty" Azes said

Zesta mused for a moment "Well, that would be fun to return to the human world for a time" She said and smiled

Arima was on a lion working on some mithril. In the night, Lanya was fighting some undead, the strongest she met were only at the seventh level unfortunately.

Night was teaching her like always but now he corrected her a lot less than before.

Three hours after they left the cave they stopped and looked in the distance. There was a gloomy stone edifice standing a kilometre away.

Arima dispelled his lion and stood on the ground "We should be more careful from now on. First, I didn't want to eliminate the leading undead but now, I realized I need to get stronger to have more fu- to keep me alive" Arima said while smiling

Night cast him a really questionable look and Lanya wasn't sure how to react.

Arima walked towards the latter and handed her a silver French-looking rapier "Take that" He said

Lanya was surprised a lot and took time to slowly take the rapier

"Seems you like slas.h.i.+ng, h.e.l.l knows why you chose a rapier, but with that you can slash and pierce at the same time. Also, don't move for a moment" Arima said and pointed his palm at the rapier and it began to change into a blue light. Because he did that already for his weapons it took less time than before but he still only finished after five minutes.

When Lanya realized that the rapier was bound to her soul, she was extremely happy "Thank you very much" She bowed and said

"Yeah" Arima said calmly and turned towards the mausoleum. He kicked the ground and rushed to it.

Night and Lanya looked at each other before following him. In just a few seconds they were already looking at huge mausoleum just in front of them.

"You'll destroy it?" Night asked in find of natural way

"Huh? Master?" Lanya was thunderstruck and hastily said

"Why not" Arima said nonchalantly

"Seriously?" Lanya joined those two not long ago so she still wasn't used to their ways of doings things, of course she would be surprised.

"Okay let's go. Lanya you may have nothing to do" Arima said and resonated with Night. He flew up above the mausoleum which was a hundred meters high.

"Let's go with light" Arima said and waved his hand and a rectangular magic formation surrounded the edifice

"[Alligatum, Obfirmo] (Confinement, Lock)" Arima began to chant. A huge white cube confined the whole mausoleum

"[Fulgebunt sicut sol] (s.h.i.+ne like the sun)" An extremely bright light shrouded everything inside the cube

"[Ultimum magicae, Lux Amputates] (Ultimate magic, Light Eradication)" The light inside became so strong that it illuminated everything in a ten miles radius. And every undead in a five miles radius were destroyed.

Even Lanya who had a light attribute inheritance felt that she could still be injured even outside of the cube if she dispersed her defense.

Soon the light faded and the cube broke in pieces. Arima took a deep breath and a colorless whirlpool formed around him and was absorbed.

"Not bad at all, that's a good amount of life force" Arima grinned and said "I've gone up by half a level" He checked his strength and looked where the mausoleum was supposed to be. There was only a stone remnant the size of a house. From inside, eleven figures got out.

"Oh, a part of it wasn't destroyed, there must be something strong in that stone" Arima remarked

Ten of the figures that appeared had all a very similar appearance, they were around five meters tall, they looked like different type of animals, but they were all on their two hind legs and the two others limbs were strangely large, their flesh was rotting and the ribs and some organs were totally visible.

"Wendigo" Arima said after looking at them. That's the first thing he compared them to. Then he looked at the last figure. It was a gray skeleton with flames in the eye sockets, wearing a black cloak "And a Lich, huh?" Arima smirked "Cla.s.sic"

Arima extended his arm and waved his fingers "Bring it on"
