Aphrodite scowled and thought that it was most likely the same for the a.s.sa.s.sin who sneaked on her every time "(Should I use it?)" The G.o.ddess wondered if she should use her Manifestation. She knew that if things continued like this, Vastra would most likely get out of this fight victorious.

But her type was an instant-cast and the biggest problem with that kind of Manifestation was that it didn't leave any room for a mistake. Of course, if the Manifestation injures the opponent, even if it doesn't kill him, it's enough. But if the magic is by chance evaded, the caster will find himself in a tight spot with his Manifestation used for nothing.

That was what Aphrodite was worrying about at the moment. Before she could make her decision about the matter, the giant charged and ruthlessly sent his fist toward her. She perfectly felt that the strength in that punch was a lot stronger than before. It had been boosted forcefully by Vastra.

Aphrodite reacted and her body literally became a gust of wind which escaped the attack. When the giant's fist fell on the ground, a crater was immediately created and the earth was dug out all around. The stone under the ground also bent and raised up to the surface before breaking into pieces.

Aphrodite reappeared above the giant and then conjured a sphere of compressed wind between her hands. She quickly threw it away and it broke almost immediately "[Fall]"

The wind inside the sphere didn't explode but manifested itself as a sort of vortex. It stayed like that for a few seconds before it suddenly changed into a huge tornado that basically drilled the place where the giant and Vastra were.

When the tornado shrouded their figures, Vastra herself left the tornado and flapped her wings. She dashed in Aphrodite's direction and chanted quietly "[b.l.o.o.d.y Thorn]" A light flashed and two red rope-like rays of light escaped her hands.

The two rays became thorns that circled around Aphrodite and closed in. Of course, they were easily ripped apart by a powerful wind pressure but Vastra one more time waved her hand and this time a thorn whip formed in her hand and she instantly used it.

Aphrodite created a sword out of wind magic and used it to entwine the whip that was swung at her. She then moved her free hand and a very cold air escaped in the air as she pointed her palm to Vastra "[Freeze]" She calmly chanted and a big wave of wind was aimed at Vastra. The wind was so cold that even the humidity in the air froze instantly and small snowflakes formed everywhere.

Vastra deployed her wings and fell down because of the air resistance. She left the freezing air's zone of effect and in her stead, the giant that had been attacked by the tornado suddenly put himself in front of Aphrodite instead of Vastra. He immediately started freezing but he acted like he didn't feel anything and just stomped toward the G.o.ddess.

The latter increased the power of her cold wave and it easily could affect even targets that were miles away. If this wind ever fell on the battlefield, it instantly would freeze to death many combatants.

But even as his torso was almost entirely recovered in a thick ice layer, the giant was still making his to Aphrodite. At the same time, Vastra pulled on her whip which was still attached to Aphrodite's sword.

The latter clicked her tongue and decided to let go of the whip. She instead raised her hand toward the sky and made her mana flow out. The black clouds of Baphomet started spinning like a whirlpool and from the center of it, a tornado slowly started forming as rain also fell down.

This time, the magnitude of this tornado was on a completely different level and if you looked at the sky, you could easily see that it would be at least around fifty miles large and incredibly strong. Vastra squinted her eyes and clasped her hand.

The different rocks and boulder around started hovering. Vastra waved his hands and a.s.saulted Aphrodite with a barrage of stone.

Aphrodite gritted her teeth and created a wind s.h.i.+eld around her. She could easily resist Vastra's attack but as soon as the giant started hitting her s.h.i.+eld with a great force. Just the sheer strength behind those attacks was enough to produce a sound and a shockwave capable of traveling for miles no matter what it would land on. Even the wind pressure created by those punches were enough of a threat.

Aphrodite was being pushed back by the giant and she felt like her s.h.i.+eld was going to break. Her thoughts were true as she received a kick and was sent flying away as her s.h.i.+eld dispelled.

She crashed on the ground and formed another crater. She coughed some blood and grunted. Vastra took that as an opportunity and controlled the earth. Everything around Aphrodite moved like it wanted to plug the crater while burying her in the process.

She stood up immediately and suddenly felt a sharp pain on her back. Her eyes shook and she slowly turned her head. The a.s.sa.s.sin that didn't appear until now stabbing his dagger on her back. The blade was barely avoiding the heart thanks to her luck. Because she had stood up quickly, the aim of the attacker was a bit off.

A stream of blood fell down Aphrodite's mouth and she released all of her magic power in one go "Scram!" The a.s.sa.s.sin was pushed back for miles and just after the earth tried to bury her. A mark on her chest s.h.i.+ned through her clothes and was projected in front of her.

Her sigil spun and she snorted "[Resurrection]" She chanted and her aura exploded along with the stone that was trying to bury her. As her body was glowing with a blue light, she looked at the sky and saw her tornado was about to be ready.

She then turned to look at Vastra with her eyes that had now a light blue contrast. Vastra gasped and tried to retreat but it was too late "[Bow down to me]" Aphrodite gave a simple and conceited order but shockingly, Vastra was forced to crash on the ground and kneel down. It was also the same for the giant and the a.s.sa.s.sin behind Aphrodite.

They all kneeled and bowed their head at Aphrodite "[Golden Rule]" She chanted and waved her hands. The three people who were her opponents a second ago suddenly moved according to her instructions and gathered together at a single place.

Aphrodite sighed and finally, the tornado in the sky was finished. The wind inside of it was extremely cold and the rain that was falling since earlier managed to enter the tornado and become ice. Making the latter, even more, threatening with its white color.

"Fall!" Aphrodite shouted and the tornado became a giant drill that fell on Vastra's group with great speed. At that moment, the blue light in Aphrodite's eyes vanished and she panted just after. Her Manifestation was simply controlling the minds of the people around her to make them do what she wants. But unfortunately, it only lasted ten seconds, at least on people of the same level as her.

Thus, because the effect had stopped, just before the tornado could reach Vastra, the succubus managed to control the giant and made him protect her with his body.

When the tornado hit its target, the earth shook and everything it touched was pulverized. Even mountains were not spared and the stone was just annihilated.

After five minutes which felt like an eternity, the tornado died down and Aphrodite observed the ma.s.sive depression with numerous fissures everywhere across its surface. She looked around her and didn't spot Vastra or any of her lackeys.

She sighed and her eyes landed on the fighters hundreds of miles away. She suddenly felt something and shuddered. She then sensed a presence behind her and gathered her mana to create a s.h.i.+eld which protected her from a big red thorn.

Vastra was there, although injured and seemingly tired, she was still standing and her Manifestation wasn't over "It seems that you couldn't finish me" She said "I will get my retribution for my locking me in the purgatory" She added and her killing intent was released.

"d.a.m.nit…" Aphrodite cursed as she looked at the succubus. The wound on her back was tingling and she definitely knew that there was something strange. An injury like that shouldn't be able to weaken or kill her "(Poison)" She guessed.

She was about to call Gabriel for help but as if to retort her. A powerful magic wave spread and she lost any connection to Gabriel. She looked behind her in shock and saw that Gabriel had been forced to fight against the three princes with Michael.

The three demons had released their Manifestation and so did Michael with the spear he had summoned. But he was still pushed back because of Lucifer's magic which reached another realm after the Manifestation.

"As I thought, your magic had always been special, Lucifer. Combining light and darkness isn't an impossible thing to do. But in your case, it always had been unclear as to how you used it as if it was a simple element" Michael said and the fallen angel laughed.

"It's just how I became" Lucifer's magic was the eternal-type. The air around him was filled with black and white lights that would flicker time to time. With just a thought of his, he could conjure his light-darkness magic which had gained a great improvement and which had the special characteristic of countering any element.

Michael grunted and gathered light at the tip of his pure white spear. He only swung it lightly but a big wave of energy was sent and struck Beelzebub before provoking a huge light explosion "I will still get rid of you"

Lucifer sneered and waved his hand, the magic remnants from the attack disappeared and Beelzebub emerged unscathed with a white and black barrier protecting him "Rather, shouldn't you protect your comrade? She never was good to fight" Lucifer suddenly said and Michael hastily turned his head toward Gabriel.

"No!" He shouted and rushed to her side. Gabriel was hugging herself and trembling like she was freezing. Her wings were also slowly shrinking and her hair darkening. Even the holy light that usually surrounded her was vanis.h.i.+ng.

All of this, just because a magic beam from Lucifer pierced her stomach. Michael gritted his teeth and caught her before she fell down. He wielded his spear with one hand and glared at Lucifer. At the same moment, Aphrodite was also being pushed back and on the brink of defeat. Even Azes and Zeus were having a hard time. Gabriel had stopped her healing and leading and the army was also being destroyed.

In that grim situation, Ifrit exclaimed in surprise and looked up to witness the sphere of life force that was quickly shrinking. The black circle that was hovering above it like a halo was also receding.

"Oh, so it's over, huh?" Ifrit muttered and everyone else also spared a glance to the sky "Come on, show me what you can do" Ifrit smiled.
