A reverberating roar resounded again. Roy pulled out his sword, and blood sprayed everywhere, wetting his clothes and face and recoloring the horned serpent's scales. Its scales were blue before, but now they were colored red by its blood.

Roy was going to finish it off, but the horned serpent unleashed all of its bottled-up anger at that very moment, striking him with a huge wave of dense water mana. It was made up of 1-3rd of its remaining mana. Roy was thrown away, losing 15 points of HP. Blood trickled down the corner of his mouth as he landed on the ground, but even then, he didn't come to a stop as he skidded 30 meters backward before offsetting the force of its attack.

'Aura monster their use of energy sure is interesting.' Roy thought as he wiped the blood on his face with the back of his hand and found himself one step away from falling off the cliff.

It couldn't see its face as it was blind, but from his words, it could tell that it was being looked down upon.

A measly little prey was looking down on him.

The horned serpent roared, murderous desires gushing out of it in the form of a stream made of countless specks of blue light seeped into the ground, forming two complicated magic runes, which were formed out of thousands of mana lines connecting with each other, creating an anarchic pattern.

A mist rose from each magic circle, transforming into clay clumps that joined together to shape into humanoid knights that were dressed in heavy armor and carried a longsword in one hand and a shield in the other.

Their head was shaped like that of a lion.

The chain mails and the breastplate they were wearing as well as the swords and shield they were holding, were made out of clay.

"Kill him!" The horned serpent commanded.

Immediately, the two knights dashed towards Roy.
