Prologue: The Country with a Camera・B

Afterwards, the locals gathered to get their pictures taken with Kino.

Everyone waited patiently in line to use the country's only camera.

People who were already finished, or people who still had a long way to wait, joined the pictures by standing behind Kino and Hermes.

Everyone got to take a shot of their choosing with Kino, striking poses in front of the camera and carefully adjusting the focus for other people, too.

“Smile!”

“I want a picture where everyone looks solemn, please.”

“Everyone, raise your hands!”

“Can we all jump into the air together? …One, two, three!”

“The people on the sides aren't going to fit…let's just have a close-up of the traveler.”

They pressed the shutter, one after another.

“Thank you for the incredible memories, Traveler!”

“I'll always remember you!”

The entire country was abuzz with excitement all morning long.

The photography session ended at lunchtime, when Kino was treated to a lovely meal before she departed.
