Chapter 263 War Of Serpentis Iii : No Mercy

While this t.i.tan boa seems to be composed of the collective biological material of a few hundred if not thousands of Serpentis, the energy and power that sustains a spell of the magnitude was soul energy. And theirs was melded a built in such a way, it almost had a physical form. The main four elements restrain each other, apart from the wind element that seems to be fundamentally different from the others as it's also the element of spirit, or to be exact, the element of life. The element of mind, soul and magic can only be roughly affected by the others elements, except for wind or in this case the spirit element.

Now the point is, soul energy was in direct opposite of spirit, as it was not just the element of consciousness or personality. It was the element of death. Which means, I was sensitive enough to know that the soul energy they were burning, was not the energy of the living, but of the dead, giving it a more potent form and power. This snake moves, lives and breathes by completely burning away the thousands of souls that it was made of.

This was not just black magic, this was downright necromancy. And it was ugly. So my point, after this really long and somewhat unnecessary explanation is that, the soul rune [BREAK] would not just attack it's body, but also it's soul and the energy that it was made of. Breaking it down to the smallest possible form of existence that I could become. This was the only way to stop it, however this method of mine was still going to be erasing hundreds of souls from existence, but quite frankly I didn't care.

A wave of heat came I to being three hundred meters to the south east, where Baeki was battling her own t.i.tan Boa. I watched with fascination as the multiple wounds on it's body actually began to lick lava and a boiling black liquid that seems like Tar. I could smell it from here, and if death soul energy ever had a stench, that would be it. It was so terrible that it gave me a headache.

Shao Tie got tired of the t.i.tan Boa always healing from his solar blast, so the next time it opened it's mouth, Shao Tie did something crazy that I didn't expect. He dived straight into it's throat, his cannon glowing menacingly as burned a path through it's entire body. The composition of this solar blast seems fundamentally different from the previous ones I've seen, because I could see the body of the Boa slowly burning up like paper and evaporating into ash.

Shao Tie seemed to want to take his time causing havoc within it body, as I could see it's body shaking at different intervals. All three t.i.tan Boas were still alive, watching their body being broken apart by forces beyond their comprehension and their grasp. To be honest any how you looked at it, dragons were s.a.d.i.s.tic. There's no doubt Baeki, Shao Tie and me could have come up with a method that killed the t.i.tan Boas quickly and efficiently.

However we had used the most painful and slow method of death we could think of at the moment. I knew what I was capable of, even in my somewhat crippled state. With the right hit, at the right spot, I would killed all t.i.tan Boas, at the same time if I wanted to. Heck at this point it should be obvious that even though I was p.i.s.sed, I was not tak8ng this fight seriously. I wasn't using my armor, swords or guns, even my dragon form was not put in play. For all three of us, this was a blatant display of power, the one sickness and flaw every dragon had...….Pride.

And for a king, a queen and an imperial dragon, you can bet your a.s.s we had that pride in spades, and shared a mutual disdain for the things and life forms below us. Baeki and I are lucky we're only half dragons, because we wouldn't have cared about a lot of things anymore. We would just be cut off.

Suddenly I started hearing whispers again, the same whispers that heralded the birth of another t.i.tan Boa. There was no way, I was going to let that happen, not on my watch. I turned towards where the whispers was coming from, and saw a large group of Serpentis soldiers, almost two thousand of them, and the remaining part of the army still left standing an unscathed by mine and Baeki's rampage a few minutes ago.

I turned towards them, and used my aura to fly into the sky. Then I spread both my hands wide, and called on my soul energy. It was so much that it started leaking out of my body in wisps of blueish white fog. Then I smiled, took a deep breath and.

*CLAP!* *BOOM*

Two thousand Serpentis soldiers, all clapped into mush in a grotesque display of blood and organs like they were mosquitoes. Amongst people of the vampire army, I could see jaws hanging low, and eye b.a.l.l.s almost popping out of their sockets. There wasn't nothing to it really, I just weaved [PUSH] on both my palms, increased the range and just clapped my hands together. And so just like bugs, I clapped them to death.

"Did you have to show off?" Baeki asked as she flew up beside me, Ashes resting on her shoulders, and her previous fiery countenance no where to be seen.

"I wasn't showing off, that was just the fastest way to get rid of those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds." I answered her as I turned my gaze back to the battlefield.

"Yeah right." Baeki answered with a huff, as she flew towards the ground.

I shrugged my shoulders, and looked back at what was left of the Serpentis army of 25 thousand strong. They were utterly decimated, and if not for the glowing green barrier I could see around the green district border, I would have marched in there and continued my ma.s.sacre. But I guess it was time for cooler heads to prevail, however; something had to be done about what was left of the Serpentis army.

Many of them were injured and close to death, only a few scattered few were still alive and whole and capable of fighting. But seeing as they were looking so lost, with only a few smart enough to turn tail and run back towards the green district, I would say I had this round won. But they were still my enemies, and they would be treated how all my enemies are treated...….without mercy!

I landed in front of the vampire army, my army. And spoke to them loud enough whilst simultaneously pointing at the battlefield behind me.

"No mercy, Kill them all."

Straight to the point and without room for argument. By now, they all understood me better than I even understood myself. I never like seeing one of people hurt, and if you hurt them, the outcome was always the same, whether you were human, Naga, elf, werewolf or even a vampire. NO MERCY!
