15 Uncle Anthony!

"You're too late! She already left!" Lyssa smirked as soon as he got in the house.

Jayden sulked a bit. He tried to act like it did not matter to him either way but he wasn't fooling anyone.

"Stop acting like a little kid! Just wait a minute and ill prepare your food," she said. He went to the kitchen table and waited.

"Lyssa? I invited uncle Anthony! A was hoping he could help me start karting again. Do you think mom will be angry when I tell her?"Jayden asked.

"Stupid! Why would you go and do that?! Why do you think he's never invited here? Mom doesn't trust him one bit. He never even tried to help us out when dad just died!" She said while starting to get agitated.

"But dad always said uncle was good at doing business. He even started his own company in England right? It shouldn't be a big deal for him to help us right? Jayden replied.

He was beginning to get worried now. Angering his mother was not part of the plan. The problem was that he had no other options. He could only hope that it would work out. His uncle hadn't even replied yet so maybe they were worrying for nothing.

Lyssa was pondering Jaydens plan now too. "Why haven't i thought of that!? I should ask him if he can help me out too! With his help, I might even be able to make a real music video!"

"If he responds just tell me. Ill help you with mom"Lyssa said. She knew mom would be their biggest problem so she was planning to soften her up a little bit first.

Jayden was absentmindedly playing with his food. He hoped uncle Anthony would respond but was scared he might be rejected.

After eventually finis.h.i.+ng his food he went upstairs to check his new facebook account.

"Still no response. Guess I'll just have to be patient."

He spent the night watching racing videos and playing games. Damian had returned during this time.

Lyssa asked him if he would help out with mom if uncle Anthony came over. She knew mom would listen to him. He was after all the oldest and had a certain calming presence on mom. These reasons made it that he could reason with his mother

"I will help you out if you promise me that you will accept anything mom decides!" He told her. Lyssa knew what he meant. "Ok, if mom takes the time to hear us out and still won't accept then I will obviously give up." She replied. "When is he coming then?"Damian asked. He would rather talk to mom before they met to plead their case. "No clue Jayden sent him a message but hasn't received a response yet. So I think we have time to prepare."Lyssa answered him. Damian nodded. He was thinking about how to best approach this.

Being older than Lyssa and Jayden he saw things differently. He also disliked uncle, Anthony. It might even be closer to hate then a simple dislike.

This was because Anthony was the uncle that always borrowed money from dad and never paid anything back.

He was the uncle that went abroad and made a ton of money only to lose it again.

He was the uncle that was a financial genius but could never stay focused on his projects.

He was the uncle that came back after his father died and attended the funeral drunk.

He was the uncle that forgot about them and never gave them any of his time.

But now, now he was the uncle that might help Jayden and Lyssa pursue their dreams. For this, he would help them out. He would reason with his mother and plead their case. The final decision wouldn't be his anyway but this was the best he could do.

It wouldn't be long before mom would be home. The weekend just started so they were all still awake. Jayden was still waiting for a response from his uncle. "I'll just ask her and see what happens! The worst that can happen is that she'll say no." He thought.

A sound of the door opening downstairs was heard. They could now hear mom coming up the stairs. Jayden and Lyssa were looking nervous and even Damian had a frown on his face. The sounds of steps suddenly stopped. Mom's voice could be heard from the stairs. "Is she talking to someone?"Lyssa asked but no one responded. They could now hear a male's voice. Damian ran to the door. There should not be a man in the walkways. The stairs lead directly to their apartment. He thought his mom might need help so he immediately went to her aid.

Mom could be heard yelling as soon as Damian opened the door.

"Just leave! n.o.body wants you here!" Her voice could now be heard clearly.

"I was invited!" the male's said. His voice was being suppressed by mom's anger.

"STOP LYING! Do you think I would invite you here? Shouldn't you be out drinking somewhere?" mom asked.

"I let myself go that one time because my brother, your husband died. Cant, you forget about it? I was going through a tough time" he replied.

Damian had stopped at the door as soon as he heard the voices. "I don't think I'll be able to help you out this time," he said to Jayden and Lyssa after turning back. He knew he wouldn't be able to calm her down now.

"Who is it?" Jayden asked while already knowing the answer. He was just hoping he was wrong. Because if he wasn't then everything was lost.

"Do you still need to ask? Its uncle Anthony off course"
