Xiulan was about to hack into Mao's 'private' company forum when Secretary Dandan beamingly entered her office.

"Boss, your husband sent some packages from the filming team of your wedding. I think it's the photos during your wedding." Secretary Dandan informed. Dandan is really excited to see the photos. Xiulan was really pretty that day and the wedding gown was really gorgeous. She's antic.i.p.ating the magazine-like photos.

"Wedding photos?" Xiulan curiously asked. She already forgot about that kind of stuff. She was so immersed with her work and current issues that she almost forgot that she there are wedding pictures. Her mom kept asking her about it and she always forget to ask Hongqi.

"Yes. Here." Secretary Dandan said and put the package on top of her table.

Xiulan immediately took the package and unwrap the paper cover. Both of them were antic.i.p.ating the photos. For Xiulan, she really wanted to see the photos since her whole family were in the image and the venue was really magical. She's really curious how it would look like in a professional camera man's view.

The photo alb.u.m was in a magazine-like format. The photos were really crisp and all the shots look like it was for a magazine shoot. Secretary Dandan decided to put herself beside Xiulan to get a better view of the images.

Secretary Dandan almost gasped when she saw how handsome Hongqi was in the photos. He was really ethereal and photogenic!! Secretary Dandan and Xiulan have the same sentiments regarding Hongqi. He was so unreal.

Xiulan put up a frown while browsing the photos and all she could say about it is that Hongqi's visual power is really amazing. How can he look so good in any angle?

"What kind of sorcery?" Xiulan can't help but utter her amazement.

"Young Master Hongqi sure can beat all the top actors and models today. How can he look so good?" Secretary Dandan commented.

"He must have asked the filming team to photoshop his photos." Xiulan is so in denial that Hongqi look this good. "It can't be… How did my father manage to make someone like him to marry me?" she audibly mumbled.

Secretary Dandan chuckled at Xiulan's accusations. "But you are equally beautiful, boss!" Secretary Dandan praises Xiulan. How can her boss feel bad about herself when she's equally ethereal as Hongqi. Her wedding photos can be considered high quality and can be used as official photos for Weddings Style Magazine, a popular wedding magazine in China.

"Dandan-ah, I don't know if you are blind, saying the truth or only hoping for a salary increase." Xiulan glanced at Secretary Dandan, smiles and teasingly said.

"Boss! I'm telling the truth." Secretary Dandan retorted. She was really telling the truth.

"Okay, okay." Xiulan still has that teasing smile on her face. "Should I put this wedding frame on my table? I really don't want to see Hongqi's face but I looked so good in here." Xiulan can't help but stare at herself in the wedding photos. She wasn't able to appreciate her over all look during the wedding since all she wanted during that time was it to end so she can finally rest.

Now that she had a full look of her dress, makeup and the beautiful shots; she was in awe with everything. Her family looked so cute as well. She should pick the whole family shot instead of the photo of only her and Hongqi.

"Oh! By the way, here's also a list of people who are inquiring for your help these past weeks. I told them that you are currently busy and you don't have any extra time to help them personally. I suggested to them to ask the local IT staff here but they declined. They wanted to talk to you, one on one." Secretary Dandan explained. She almost forgot about those pesky fresh graduates. The local IT staff can help them but they insist on asking for her boss. What irritates her more is that those fresh grads are so arrogant!

Xiulan glanced at the list of annoying callers and she immediately saw Guo Li Lok's name. "That d.a.m.n kid sure is persistent." Xiulan thought. She needs to end this kid's messy issue.

"Alright. I'll try to contact them tomorrow when I have extra time. Also can you look into Wen Wuzhou's company events? They seem to have an IT compet.i.tion going-on. If you confirm that they are having an IT related compet.i.tion, send one of our best developers to compete." Xiulan ordered while endearingly looking at her wedding photos.

"Yes, ma'am. I'll report it to you within the day." Secretary Dandan affirmed before she goes back to her seat.

While Xiulan appreciates her photos, in Hongqi's office…

"Bro, you didn't even invited me on your wedding. You're so cruel as ever." Wu Tung-Yi complained while he was browsing the wedding photos in Hongqi's luxurious office in City T. Hongqi's currently fixing some issues in his main branch in City T. It seems that one of his actors was caught in a scandal with a minor.

"It was a rush wedding. I'll invite you in the traditional wedding instead." Hongqi nonchalantly said while looking at Secretary Yang Bo's report. His eyebrows are almost sticking so close. This scandal of one of his actors is really messy. He needs to fix this soon or else this will soon create more unnecessary issues in the future.

"How come the others managed to come?" Tung-Yi is still bitter that their other clique managed to attend the wedding. He really wanted to meet Xiulan in person. Their other close friends said that her beauty was undeniably better than Hongqi's exes. He wanted to see it for himself how beautiful she was. It's impossible for someone to top Gong Yuming or w.a.n.g Cuifen's beauty; especially that she's just an IT CEO. He has this prejudice that a person who works in the IT field is nerdy.

"But the photos were really incredibly pretty. It was like from a high cla.s.s magazine shoot but the girl is neither model nor an actress. So her beauty must be really true…" Tung-Yi thought while staring at Xiulan's up close shots. "What a beauty…" Tung-Yi secretly uttered.

"They found out about it that's why they are there. They are not even invited. I only invited few guests that are essential for the upcoming Mayor appointee." Hongqi sighed and ma.s.sages his temple. He needs a break. He just got married a few days ago and his image was almost cleared but this stupid Actor A causes a huge blow against his company and some nosy netizens started digging up his exes. Now they are also including Hongqi if he dated minors before.

"Ugh, they didn't even told me that they were secretly attending. What kind of friends…" Tung-Yi can't move on from the bitterness.

"Tung-Yi, if you are just here to bitterly rant; can you please go home? I still have some things to do." Hongqi coldly reprimanded Tung-Yi. Hongqi put all of his attention in typing the things to do regarding Actor A's scandal and his own involvement to the issue. d.a.m.n, of course he never dated a minor. All the accusations were just hearsay and trying to stir more drama. This is really not helpful for his upcoming mayor plans.

"Fine. Just an advice regarding Actor A; put him in jail." Tung-Yi said while he stands up and readying himself to leave the office.

"Idiot. As much as I want to do that, but I can't. Do you want the brands he's endorsing to sue us? I need to put him on hiatus for months before he can continue all his work. Apparently, he didn't know that the girl he met in the club was a minor since the girl said that she was not and has a fake ID. The club also has a no minor policy so that part is already solved. We just need to clear and clean his name again and mine." Hongqi angrily explained while he rigorously types on his laptop.

"What a ha.s.sle. See you in Good Blue bar later. Drink the stress away." Tung-Yi said before he officially left Hongqi's office.

Hongqi just nodded and concentrated on his laptop. He doesn't want drink or even party when this kind of issue is lurking.

While thinking of the right words to type, his eyes pa.s.sed through the wedding photos and saw Xiulan's beautiful smile. "How innocent and beautiful…" he lovingly uttered while he stares at the photo.

He went back to typing again but a few minutes later he stops and suddenly thought of a good plan on how to divert this unwanted attention away from him and it will clear his name further. He devilishly curled his lips and decided to make use of this opportunity.

He look at Xiulan's beautiful smile again and darkly whispered "It's time to make use of our beautiful wife."
