Chapter 94 - She's Ignoring Me

At that moment, Davi was silent as her thoughts began to wander deep within.

She began to think about Sei's treatment towards her. Apart from that night he told her to seduce him, Sei never asked for anything else from her, not even her time. He never ordered or demanded her to do anything for him, as well. Instead, he just let her do as she pleased, even supporting her with her plans. Sei had always been so good to her that she sometimes thought that he was actually her guardian angel, sent from heaven to protect her.

Thinking about it made Davi feel a certain inexplicable feeling. Sei had already become more than just a part of her life. Before she knew it, he had become so precious to her that she wanted to fly to the sky and give him all the stars it had. She wanted to give him the best of her.

Because of that, although she was a bit tired, she started thinking about how to compensate him in the best way possible. She wanted to make up for the times she spent on herself and she wanted it to be much better than all the other moves she'd ever done before.

Time pa.s.sed and she thought about taking him out again for another date. But as she thought about it, she shocked herself when she realized that they still had never had a real and proper date. She remembered that their first date was actually a disaster and the second was a mess, causing her to mentally slap her own forehead.

However, at that point, Davi had already made a decision. She decided to ask him out and give him the most romantic date ever. Thus, she started mentally making plans as she stared, unseeing outside the car's window. Her concentration was intense, as if she was a military general simulating a number of strategies in her head all at once. She was completely focused on this that she didn't even realize that a long time had already pa.s.sed by.

She did not realize that the man beside her was becoming more frozen the longer she stayed silent.

Sei's aura was slowly getting colder as he kept glancing at her. He was deep in his thoughts as well. This was the first time Davi had ignored him like this. She would usually glance at him occasionally with a bright smile even when they were both not saying anything at all. However, this time, she didn't even turn her head towards him during the whole ride home. She seemed as though she just forgot about his existence, causing Sei to feel an unbelievably uncomfortable feeling that he had never felt before.

At last, they arrived at Gray Mansion.

The moment Davi stepped out the car, she immediately rushed inside to go straight to the ladies room.

However, Sei, who didn't know why she just immediately rushed towards the house without even looking or saying anything to him, turned even more rigid. His already cold aura increased tremendously that Zaki, who had already made his way to the door, walked back to him.

"What is it this time?" he asked curiously.

"She's ignoring me."

"…" Zaki could only sigh. However, he couldn't blame Sei because even he noticed Davi's unusual silence. Zaki knew that every time Sei was beside her, Davi always looked ecstatic, so it was strange to see her being so quiet and serious. "Well, maybe she's just tired."

"Are you sure this isn't because I kissed her?"

"Huh? Hey, you're imagining things."

"She's never ignored me like this before."

"…" Zaki sighed again and he started complaining deep within. She just ignored you for a mere forty-five minutes and you're already like this?! Why is this annoying monster-turned-human always being so innocently fragile and ignorant when it comes to his wife? Someone please help me smack him hard!

"Okay then. If you're that anxious about it, just go find out for yourself. I'm sure the misunderstanding will be cleared when you do. Just go kiss her again and ask, easy as that," he said but Sei just glared at him as though he was telling him he wouldn't trust his stupid advice anymore.
