Chapter 81 - The Only Thing He was Certain About

At Gray Mansion.

Davi just came out from their room when she saw Sei sitting on the sofa wearing his black mask again.

"You really are the best, young miss. You just made the young master wear this kind of mask to disguise himself when I know he absolutely hated wearing them!"

"Eh? He hated them?"

"Yep, he really hated them but because he couldn't get close to you wearing that black mask of his in public, he decided to wear one."

Upon hearing him, Davi felt like she just heard some heartbreaking news. "So that's why he immediately removed it when we got home, huh," she said as she started walking towards Sei.

The moment she got close to him, Davi noticed that the skin on the lower part of his face was slightly red. Looking at it, it seemed his skin might have been sensitive and the mask may have caused it to be irritated.

Davi's face started to show her worry that the man immediately asked her what was wrong.

"Have you put anti irritation ointments on your face?" she asked and as expected the man shook his head. Davi then stood in front of him, holding on to his hand.

"Come, I'll help you do some light facial treatment," she said. She began to pull him up but Sei refused her.

"No need, it's fine," he said and Davi immediately pouted, showing her sudden displeasure at his refusal. Her face also turned sullen as if she was a kid upset about Santa not giving her a unicorn for Christmas. Sei was quite surprised. He didn't expect her to be that unhappy just because he refused.

Davi didn't talk again but kept hold of his hand while she stared at him with a sullen expression. Sei's resistance only lasted for a few seconds and he soon stood up right away upon seeing her unhappy face.

"Let's go," he finally said and the girl's face instantly turned radiant as she smiled widely at him as her wish was finally granted.

She dragged him towards the stairs until they both entered in their room.

As soon as they were inside, Davi gently pushed the masked man to make him sit on the bed. She immediately went to grab several bottles of face creams and such from the bathroom then she dragged a stool, put it in front of him and sat on it.

However, as soon as she sat down and looked at him, she blinked three times, for she realized that she had to remove his mask to apply the treatment.

Seeing the sudden change in her expression, Sei reached out his hand, asking her to give the bottles to him.

"It's okay, just tell me how to do it and I'll do it myself," he said but to his surprise, the girl seemed displeased again. At that moment, Sei's brain appeared as though it was starting to get paralyzed.

He knew that what was happening right now was very strange for him. He didn't even get why he was just obediently doing everything his wife wanted. He was aware he was doing something he never did before. The only thing he was certain about was that, he didn't want to ever displease his dear wife.
