It didn't take long before we reach one of the turning point of the mission. The party which Wu Mei will meet her real parents.

At the party all prominent families are gathered for a charity event. Well to be frank this is just an excuse for them to flunk their wealth at each other in a more "compa.s.sionate" way.

Anyway, the three of us are obviously invited and Wu Mei is also invited via Ru Lin. Luckily throughout their romance, Ru Lin's parents aren't really against of her and is in fact loved by them. I guess that's the power of a heroine for you.

So now, we are on our way to the hotel which will the event be held. In the car are the four of us and not long then ride we arrived at our destination. The first to ge out is Ru Lin while he escort Wu Mei out of the car, then Tai Shui which also escorted me out? Is that normal?

I wasn't able to comprehend the situation since he quickly usher me inside. We are at the lobby of the hotel when I heard a loud shriek.

It was the main villainess, the daughter of a financial corp, Fa Ran. Apparently this girl have hots for Ru Lin, and them being a sort of childhood friend but it's more of acquaintance, is what she always brags to every girl that tries to approach Ru Lin. Well in short she plaster herself as the self-proclaimed girlfriend/fiancé/wife of Ru Lin.

Well Ru Lin may have let it pa.s.s before since he said it was troublesome and plus it drives away excess pest. But now, with Wu Mei in the picture things are different.
