I accidentally married a “CEO“ Chapter 27: Meeting the CEO (1)

The Mega International Group private jet was not a joke. It was luxurious. Lea couldn't believe that they were flying high-class, not the usual economy or first class.

It was High-class with a capital [H]. 'A couple of hours ago I was arguing with the counter lady, trying to fight for a seat. Thanks to this person I'm now flying in complete comfort, and I'm enjoying every minute of it.'

Lea couldn't help wondering how rich this Jeff was to be able to afford all these benefits.

'Ann did the right thing by staying married to this person.' Lea thought to herself.

The private jet had a separate private cabin. Ann made herself comfortable in Jeff embrace and fell into a sweet slumber without a care in the world. She laid in comfort the whole trip to Asia.

A car was already waiting for them when they arrived a black limousine, fully equipped with a wine bar and a variety of drinks and snacks. It could comfortably seat ten people.

Lea was in heaven as soon as they went inside. "Whoa! Is this an apartment or what? My whole bedroom can easily fit in this limo." She exaggerated a little for fun.

Ronald was eying her the whole time, not saying a word. He had been watching her ever since he saw her at the club the night before, but he couldn't find the courage to approach her.

While inside the car on the way to their destination, Ann was in deep thought. 'There is something wrong with this picture. How come Jeff is not asking more questions? Another thing is why is he in such a good mood? There's something he is not telling me. I need to find out.' Ann thought and prepared herself to ask a question.

"Jeff, can I ask you something?"

"What is it that you want to know?" Jeff replied without taking his eyes off of what he's doing.

"Where are we going?" She asked, trying to get his attention.

Jeff smiled and looked Ann straight in the eyes then said, "We're going home!"

Ann: ""

Lea:""

Ronald: ""

Jeff:""

The butler and maids were all lined up at the front door waiting for them. As soon as they all stepped out of the car, they bowed and greeted them.

"Welcome home young master! Welcome home, young miss."

Lea was speechless. 'This is surreal; Jeff is super rich.' She couldn't hold her excitement anymore, so she nudged Jeff and whispered, "How rich are you, boss?"

Jeff didn't reply, he just kept holding his wife's hand and started introducing her to the house help.

"Everyone listen. From now on she will be your boss. You will answer to her like it's me you're answering to, understand!"

"Yes! Young master!" Everyone replied in unison.

The whole time, Ann was just quiet and trying to comprehend what was going on.

She was not surprised at all at how rich her husband was. She had had an idea already when they boarded the private jet.

What worried her the most was the way they were treating her. She was not ready for this kind of treatment; it was too overwhelming.

Ann thought to herself, 'You know what they say: when in Rome, do as the Romans.' [AN: something like that]

For Ann not to feel awkward, she showed her biggest and sweetest smiles at everyone and thanked them.

"Please take care of us!" Then she looked at Jeff and whispered to him, "I need to go meet with someone. Can you come with me?".

"Sure! When?...Now? Alright! Give me a couple of minutes to take care of some business; then I'll be ready. In the meantime, why don't you and Lea get familiar with the house? I'll call you when I finish." Jeff gave her a peck on her lips then turned and slowly made his way towards the study.

Lea was like a little child who found herself at 'Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.' She couldn't get enough of it.

The butler showed them to their rooms. Lea was downstairs while Ann, of course, was upstairs.

The butler bade them goodbye after seeing them to their rooms.

They took their time familiarizing themselves with the place, then rested for a little while, waiting for Jeff to finish his business. Finally, it was time to go.
