Chapter 314 I had never felt so desperate ever before

Mi Ke'er felt that someone was following her, so she walked faster.

When she was taking a walk on the beach that day, she was kidnapped by some strangers who appeared suddenly. She was forcibly taken to a fis.h.i.+ng boat. She wanted to jump into the sea to commit suicide to avoid being humiliated. But she put up with it in the end when she thought of her poor unborn baby.

Those who kidnapped her did nothing violent to her, but locked her in a dark and humid place in the cabin. She was imprisoned for a few days, and then was taken to the land again. She was somehow sent back to the place where she once lived in－Feicheng City.

So, she fled and returned to her home in Feicheng City, but found that the gangsters had been following her. She then moved to this small town in order to avoid them, but she still felt that somebody was spying on her.

Mi Ke'er was frightened, looking back to see if there was someone following her as she walked. She was relieved to find no one following her, and strode into her rental house and locked the door with a slam.

She wanted to call Ye Sichen and Xia Nuan for help at the beginning, but she suspected that these people must want to tempt Ye Sichen into saving her by this abduction. So, she decided not to connect with them for their safety.

Mi Ke'er locked the door and shut the windows tightly. When she felt thirsty and turned around to get some water, there were two men standing behind her. She was startled to step back.

Holding her cell phone, she intended to call the police. But the two men soon knew her plan and stepped forward to s.n.a.t.c.h her phone directly. Mi Ke'er wanted to grab it, but her hands were caught.

“How are you, Doctor Mi Ke'er?”

Mi Ke'er quickly recognized the man who was talking. He was the one who kidnapped her on the beach!

She did not struggle, because she knew that struggling wouldn't help but got her more harm. She did not care about her own safety, but she must protect her unborn baby.

“Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?” Mi Ke'er asked the man in black.

“People always say that every debt has its debtor. Think of what you have done before. There is no hatred without a reason in this world.” Said the man, and he gave a signal to the other. Then she was blindfolded and could not see anything.

“Actually, last time we let you go on purpose, because we knew your companions must be looking for you. In order to rest their hearts so that they would not look for you anymore, we temporarily let you go back to your home in Feicheng City.”

Mi Ke'er felt desperate, “You'd better release me. I didn't do anything bad! I made no enemy for myself. You must make a mistake!”

“No, we didn't. We are coming for catching you, Mi Ke'er.”

When the man saw that Mi Ke'er still wanted to say something, he took out a black sticky tape to seal up her lips.

Mi Ke'er kept struggling, but she could not make a sound to call for help. She was directly taken to a car by those men.

After an indefinite period of time, Mi Ke'er was taken out of the car.

The black cloth on her eyes was torn off, and the surrounding was dark and dim, revealing a murky atmosphere, which made Mi Ke'er scared. She slowly backed away, trying to escape.

The two men pushed her down on a sofa. She protected her belly subconsciously, and stared at them with rage, “Don't hurt my baby! Or I'll kill you!”

The two men sneered, but said nothing. They just turned and left. Mi Ke'er looked around, and felt colder. She ran to the window and tried to open it.

But the window could not be opened at all. Obviously, it was locked. Then she tried to twist the door handle, but failed.

“Don't waste your strength.”

A cold but familiar voice came from behind her.

Mi Ke'er felt her heart beating a little faster, and she turned her head to see subconsciously－that was a familiar face!

It was a face that she had been missing days and nights. She even dreamed it every night. But the coldness that emanated from his body made her feel a sense of strangeness, which she had never felt before.

“Lacy?”

“Yes, I'm Lacy. Don't you feel surprised?” Lacy got close to Mi Ke'er slowly, and sneered.

Mi Ke'er looked at him with concern, “Where have you been for so long? Do you know how worried I am?”

A sense of fatal suffocation rushed across her body, and she reached out her hands subconsciously, keeping taking Lacy's hand away. However, his hand seemed to be joined onto her neck and could not be removed.

Mi Ke'er felt her head was buzzing, and she was desperate to death, without any strength to struggle.

Lacy released his grasp of her neck a little, and she was finally able to breathe.

“Mi Ke'er, I treat you wholeheartedly, but you want me to die. What could you get if I die?” Lacy pulled violently, and Mi Ke'er fell into his arms unsteadily.

“I haven't…” Before Mi Ke'er finished her words, Lacy tightened again.

“I know it. You want to be with Ye Sichen. If I exist in the world, you can't make your dream come true, right?” Lacy was crazy, “Mi Ke'er, I can't wait to choke you to death!”

Mi Ke'er cried distressfully, and she tried to justify for herself, but could not make a sound.

Mi Ke'er did not want to tolerate these all. She wanted to protect her baby. So, she must fight back.

A drop of tear fell on her hand again. She trembled and cried with grief.

Lacy stood outside. Through the window, he saw this scene, feeling an instant sadness. But when he remembered that he was pushed by Mi Ke'er down to the cliff that night, her indifferent expression filled his mind again.
