8 Chapter 7: Multi-Talented

name, fame or money.

This should in no wise pose any difficulty. If G.o.d has deemed it fit to endow you with extra abilities, it should be to your credit. It should be clearly noted that whatever ability G.o.d gives to you will be needed someday, somehow in your journey in life. You may not be given a pre-knowledge of when or how, but it will certainly come in handy someday. So, it makes some sense to develop all of these abilities as much as you can or as much as time will allow you to, since you never knew which will be needed, and when it will be needed, since all of them will definitely be needed someday.

After developing all of them to a certain degree, you can then decide to major on one which catches your interest the most. This will help you to be outstandingly excellent in one, and equally good at others. So you will not be a "Jack of all trade, master of none"

David was a man of many parts. He was a shepherd boy. He was also good at throwing slings. Besides he could sing wonderfully, play harp harmoniously, and was also a good warrior. All these five qualities combined together to make him a legend. The ability to play harp took him to the palace. The ability to throw slings fell Goliath before him and brought him fame. The ability to war brought him money and got him wife. The ability to sing well won him the heart of G.o.d, and as a good shepherd, he was able to lead the people of G.o.d.

Taking the life of King David as an example, it is obvious that all of G.o.d's gifts upon your life will one day be needed. So all needs to be discovered, developed, and maximized.

Deciding to develop just one to the detriment of others may be likened to one trying to bury his talents; its repercussion will be disastrous. So, all your potentials are needed. Develop them. If there is one which you have forsaken and has thrown into the archives of life, you will do well to clean its dust and put it to use again. You cannot say; the one you least expect may be the most important. The one you relegate may be the one to upgrade your financial life. So, do not waste those talents. Develop them all. You will be better for it.
