Chapter 9

Tong Nian was arranged to sit in the first row of bus. Still ignorant and slow, she did not know why she must go to the victory celebration.

Sitting in the car was the captain, and other gaming teams or possibly two teams, and reserve players. While waiting for the bus to start, the main and bench members of Chamber Storm, one after another got on. Several people carrying backpacks, because their builds are too tall, they all lowered their heads, evading the surprise bus door’s attack. Then one by one, they pa.s.sed by her side.

*Note: Fell down from the sky – This phrase is an idiom meaning that Tong Nian came out of nowhere. This could also mean she’s drop-dead gorgeous because in Chinese folklores G.o.ddesses who come from the heavens (the sky) are often described as outrageously beautiful.

Tong Nian has never been so nervous.  Even performing on the stage for first time, she was not this nervous. She sat up straight, not daring to make any sudden movements, lest give the club’s people a bad impression.

She clearly hears from behind, the one who helped her get her luggage in a low voice asks: “Eh? D, when did your brother find a girlfriend? Doesn’t he stay at the club for 24 hours?

“Don’t know,” D clearly not interested in pondering.

*Note: In Chinese, it sounds much more fluid in meaning that he is already an adult now so it makes more sense for him to have a relationship. This is not supposed to give the meaning that he is too old. I just realized after reading a bit more it could be a euphemism (subst.i.tution for offensive expression) for saying a certain private part needs certain s.e.xual needs (just stating it mildly already).

These words……are very easy to misunderstand. The many layers of meaning ah……behind him, each of the big handsome brothers took the hint, secretly with ulterior motive, they laughed.

Once she heard these word through her ears, she was furious at once.

Where is Leader not small……

Obviously he is super handsome. Compared to these feathered headed boys, he’s manlier……

How come……we arrived at the hotel room? Tong Nian quietly looked all around.

The team leader knocked on the door.

Footstep sounds, from far to near.

With a flipping sound, opened the door, one hand holding the door frame, looked at the female team leader, and also lowered his head to look at only to his chest height Tong Nian: “Come in.”

All around is quiet.

Tong Nian’s eyes aimed looking at the female team leader, also aimed looking at his chin……

Really……do I have to enter the room……

“Some matters can’t……at, the restaurant say……” She felt a bit wrong.
