16 He Really Loves Yasmin

Samantha had always been an active and healthy little girl. It's impossible for her to suddenly get some kind of severe disease. She loves doing a lot of active things, like running, swimming and dancing. So, what happened really cause Jonathan to worry.

To ease his gut feeling, he contacted their trusted doctor and scheduled a throughout check-up on Samantha.

Even though he hates Samantha so much, she's still like a sister to him with whom he spent most of his childhood with. He can't just turn a blind eye when he knows that she might be in danger.

Jonathan was about to hide his phone to his pocket, when it once again lights up to shows that Yasmin, his beloved is calling. A smile immediately appears in his lips as he took the call.

"Hey, love. Have you got home?" He asks, opening up a conversation.

"Umm. I just got back, and I immediately missed you so I called." She sweetly replied that made his smile broaden.

"O.k, I'll be right over." Jonathan said, a giggle escaping his mouth.

"Then I'll wait for you. Drive safely, o.k? I love you." She replied

"I would, I love you too." He said before he ends the call.

Thinking that he already did what he thinks was appropriate with Samantha, he took his coat and left the room; But when he got into the parking lot, he realized that he left his car keys upstairs.

He was probably too excited to meet his lover that he got a bit sloppy, with a sigh he returns to Samantha's room. Hoping that the woman hasn't woken up yet so he could avoid a confrontation. He just really wants to be with Yasmin right now.

So, Jonathan took long steps to get into the room quick; but before he could even touch the door's k.n.o.b, he heard a series of sobs until it became louder. A sign that Samantha has woken up and the first thing that she did is to cry.

A piece of his heart felt guilt. The woman that he grew up with is strong and confident that she rarely shed a tear, but now that same woman is crying in pain.

He suddenly recalls how he left her in the altar and all the things that he did that probably broke her heart and made her fragile.

Yes, he hates her. He hates that she left him without explaining why and then when he already moved on and found a new love. She would suddenly return and forced him to leave his lover and marry her instead. Jonathan also doesn't have an ally because even his parents had pestered him again and again about Samantha.

He really hates her.

And he really loves Yasmin…But his conscience isn't letting him go easily.

In defeat, he dials Yasmin's number and told her that he can't come and lied that something urgent in his job happened. Then, he ordered their maid to fix him a room.

That was how Jonathan spent his first night in his and Samantha's home.
