74 Tempers

Xander slides down and lands on his feet with a look of rage in his amber eyes. He lifts a hand and points at Kian as he turns to me and says "What the h.e.l.l are you thinking in trusting a demon you've just met!?" Kian walks back over to the table and sits down with a relaxed look on his face as I'm left with a perplexed look on mine. How do I explain this?

"That's just it... I didn't just meet him. Well, maybe in a way I did but at the same time I've known him for... a thousand years? Well... maybe that's not right... more like I met him a thousand years ago? So..." I say trying to find the right words as Xander looks at me with utter confusion.

Binx jumps over to the table and starts checking Kian out as Kian sighs and says "We met a thousand years ago and hit it off. She thought I died but, surprise! I'm alive and well. Anything else I need to clarify for you?"

Xander still stands in my house with utter confusion as he looks back to me and says "You're only a hundred and twenty-three... How the h.e.l.l did you two meet a thousand years ago?" Binx suddenly turns to us and says "Oh oh oh, let me tell this part!"

I want to stop him but he quickly starts telling them about my entire mental breakdown leading up to my time traveling while being completely wasted. I rub my temples in distress as I hear my stupidity being narrated, step by step by my familiar.

He even manages to stand on his two back paws, big belly hanging out and all, as he reenacts the part when I came back and threw up before pa.s.sing out in it... lovely. I had no idea he was so talented... seriously.

"Okay... we get the point Binx," I say with a glare as he uses milk and strawberry jelly to show them my explosive throw up. Kian's eyes narrow in on me as Xander looks at me with complete disbelief. He shudders a little before saying "No one can time travel..."

Binx takes a break from rolling around in the milk and jelly to say "But she did!! I saw it with my own two eyes!!" Kian lifts a hand and with a wave of magic, the milk and jelly disappear as he says "Whether you want to believe it or not is little to no concern to me. I technically met her first, a thousand years before you to be exact."

Xander snorts and says "No, hold on. If that's true... technically she just met you because she just time-traveled last night." Kian frowns and says "No, she met me a thousand years ago, Loverboy. She was also there for a full month."

My eye twitches as the two idiots start arguing over who met who first. Out of everything that was just said... this is what they're stuck on!? A phone ringing breaks up their fight as Xander reaches into his back pocket and pulls out his phone.

"What!?" He snaps in irritation but it quickly fades as the person on the other end says something. "I got it. I'll be right there." He hangs the phone up and turns to me saying "I have a few things to take care of but I'll be back as soon as I can. Let me know if... ANYthing happens."

I give him a strained smile and I nod my head as he quickly leaves. Once he's gone, Kian locks his eyes on me and asks "You threw up white blood?" I cringe and say "I coughed up white blood! I didn't throw it up." I look over to Binx and glare at him but he ignores me by cleaning his... "Go to a room or something and do that!" I say with irritation.

Binx's head finally pops up to look at me with his little pink tongue sticking out. He pulls it in and says "What? Why!? Cats lick their b.a.l.l.s all the time and they aren't told to go to another room? What kind of discrimination is this!?" Magic starts sparking at my fingertips as I say "I swear to the moon G.o.ddess herself... I will cut your furry little b.a.l.l.s off and make them into little pompom earrings if you don't go to another room and lick them there!!"

Binx's eyes grow large in fear as Kian slowly moves his hands down to his manhood. As soon as I lift my hand, Binx hightails it out of the kitchen and runs down the hall, disappearing from sight. I sigh and walk to my fridge in search of food but the only thing that greets me is an empty fridge and an old bag of dried-out grapes.

An evil grin crawls across my face as I pick off two and walk back over to the table. I place the two dried out grapes on the table as I turn to Kian and say "How does going out to eat sound?" Kian still covers his junk as his eyes dart to the two pitiful grapes then back to me.

He clears his throat and says "Sounds good to me..." I give him a winning smile as I nod and say "Good, I get hangry when I don't eat." He quickly gets up as he says "Then you'll have as much food as you want... whenever you want."

As we walk to the front door, I see Binx's little head popped out from the workroom with large eyes filled with fear. I give him an evil smirk as I walk out, knowing he'll find the two little presents I left him on the table.
