The room is simple and minimalist. The interior is also simple and elegant. White Walls with some natural plants placed at the corner. Mahogany table placed at the center with swiveling chairs. Huge bookshelf covered with doc.u.ments and books related to business. Big gla.s.s window behind the table giving natural light to the room. A portrait of Yu Han with her parents is placed on the table.

Although it's not her style she liked it.

After having a look at her new office Anna started to do her work.

Alone with Yu Han memory Anna can't compete in the business world so she's been studying all the books about business and even joined advanced business course which of course no one knows.

Few minutes later somebody knocked on her office door..

"Come in" Anna said without looking up.

"Good morning Ms Yu. I'm Zu Penny I'll be your personal a.s.sistant from now on." Zu Penny greeted excitedly.

Anna nodded with a smile.

"I'll work hard and stay loyal to you, Ms Yu." Zu Penny said with so much sincerity.

"Hope we can get along well." Anna replied.

Anna ordered Zu Penny to bring all the recent marketing and finance files. Getting the necessary doc.u.ments and file Anna began her work.

The Yu family is the old blood in china, they are into business since three generations and has history of 90 years old. Yu Han's great grandfather started a small marketing firm later which got established into multi level marketing company. As time pa.s.sed by they also involved in manufacturing industries and real estate. Ten years ago Yu Kong started Yu constructions. But later by playing some tricks Yu Chong became the head of Yu constructions.

"Ms Yu, you look so cool while working." Zu Penny couldn't hold back her inner fan girl anymore.

Indeed Anna looks charming. Anna was wearing pink blouse with black skirt she looks gorgeous. Every now and then her loose curls would fall forward which Anna gracefully tucked it behind her ear. And the way she looks so immersed in her work is pretty cool and a beautiful sight to see.

Anna only nodded.

"You're so beautiful and smart wonder which prince charming would marry you." Zu Penny was shooting hearts from her eyes. Anna sighed, Zu Penny is cute but can be little annoying.

"Get back to your work." Zu Penny left taking back the doc.u.ments.

Anna was not annoyed at Zu Penny but a certain word clicked in her mind and the memory rushed back.

'Prince'

Anna now could clearly remember all the events of previous night. Indeed they both got married and continued their wedding night.

Anna's fingers and toes curled up remembering all the cringey and cheesy things they both said to each other.

'Ahh!! this so embarra.s.sing..'

Anna whined and pulled out her hairs in frustration and embarra.s.sment. Her face was bright red remembering their kiss and baby talk.

What's more frustrating is she doesn't even know him properly but they did more than french kissing.

Quickly taking out her hand phone she searched for Ji Yang.

'He's the president of Ji group... The most desired rich businessman!'

Although there's no picture of him Anna already know it's him.

'I'm doomed. I'm so d.a.m.n doomed I offended someone like him..' Anna cried out in frustration.

A knock came on the door.

Composing and collecting herself she said to come in.

Yu Kong entered well dressed in grey suit.

All his grey hair was dyed black, he looked as if he's in his mid thirties but in fact he is in his early fifties. There was fine age marking and light wrinkles near his eyes. The bags under his eyes showed how much workholic he is.

"What happened you look so red?" Yu Kong asked out of concern. Anna cheeks and ears were red due to embarra.s.sment.

"Nothing, just had few sneezes" Anna lied embarra.s.singly.

"What's the matter you needed anything?" Anna was confused on why Yu Kong came to visit her.

"Nothing just came to check on you, you're comfortable right you don't have any problem with the room?" Yu Kong was nervous.

"It's good, it's better than my previous room" Anna smiled rea.s.suringly.

Yu Kong designed it himself from the material of her desks to the type of plant placed at the corner. He wasn't sure whether she'll like it or not. After all it's been ages since he asked what his daughter's like and dislikes are so most of the design and arrangements was based observation and peeka boo he did all these years. He sighed in relief and smiled back.

"Do you have any plans now?" He asked hesitatingly.

"Uh... No I was just reviewing some doc.u.ments, why?"

"It's already lunch time, will you go out for lunch with me?"

It's the first time after so many years Yu Kong asked his daughter for lunch. He even dressed more than usual to take her out. He wants to compensate for all the lost years.

Anna was happy seeing his efforts. Even if he's not her real father but he's still a father figure for her and she respected it.

She nodded happily. Yu Kong felt as if he conquered the world seeing her smile. Man, he truly missed a lot. He was absent in her whole life and failed to notice his daughter has grown into wonderful woman just like her mother and he promised himself no matter what happens in the future he'll treasure what he has now and protect her till his last breath.

Both father and daughter duo exited the company smiling ear to ear.

All the employees were shocked seeing the pair.

"Did the sun rise in west today?" One of employee asked.

"Something is wrong with my spectacles I'm seeing weird things."

"Did you see the great devil smiled."

"Look at him don't you think he's over dressed than usual"

"Both look good together though."

And the gossips continued.
