Xia Xingcheng didn’t sleep for a whole night and went to the hotel early in the morning with two dark circles under her eyes. She was about to go crazy since Bao hadn’t come to her and she had been up all night. She decided to break into the hotel room at any cost and take Bao away with her.

The hotel supervisor saw that Xia Xingcheng arrived early and was more than satisfied with this newly appointed employee; she was indeed a diligent young person.

“Some of the employees have just been off work, so you can work on the upper floors for now. The honored guests over there are very important, so do be careful to deal with them and be sure that you don’t provoke them in any case, okay?” After the supervisor finished speaking, she signaled Xia Xingcheng to follow her.

The reason that the supervisor arranged things like that was because the VIP guest on the top floor had extremely odd personalities. The Supervisor was satisfied with Xia Xingcheng’s good temperament and tried to promote her.

Xia Xingcheng nodded and caught up, feeling happy, and followed the supervisor silently to get in the elevator.

When the supervisor had sent Xia Xingcheng to the upper floor, she then left and once again she urged, “Without a good reason, never go any closer to that room at the very end on the top floor. If you provoke him carelessly, we’ll all get fired.”

Xia Xingcheng nodded right away to show her obedience. The image of the furious gaze of Sheng Yeting’s from yesterday came into her mind, and her heart was thumping still.

She dared not to delay, bypa.s.sing Sheng Yeting’s room and was about to slip into the room next door when the elevator “dinged”.

‘Somebody’s coming!’

Xia Xingcheng dashed to a corner, secretly observing the outside, and saw Xia Xingyan coming to the door of the room alone. Xia Xingcheng was so excited as this proved that Bao was in that room. She was working out a countermeasure in her mind as she saw two big men come out of the room without a trace of Bao.

Xia Xingyan was soaked in fury; the only thing she could threaten that b.i.t.c.h with was gone.

When the two bodyguards thought of the sharp eyes of the man last night, they could not help s.h.i.+vering. They decided to make up a lie, since they by no means dared to tell the truth.

"That kid smashed everything in the room after he went in. He took a chance to run away while we were cleaning up," said the two bodyguards gradually lowering their heads with guilt.

"Good-for-nothings, you couldn’t even watch over a child, what's the use of you!" When Xia Xingyan heard this, she was furious, flus.h.i.+ng with anger and stretched out her hand trying to teach them a lesson.

Hearing them say that Bao went missing, Xia Xingcheng didn’t think twice but ran to those bodyguards and questioned them sharply, “What, Bao went missing? My child has disappeared just because you s.n.a.t.c.hed him away. This is kidnapping, I’m calling the police!”

Xia Xingcheng was enraged and fished out her phone to dial the emergency number and her head was full of anger which was beyond words. If she could, she would definitely hit Xia Xingyan in her face, but her mind was so occupied by Bao and not free to be concerned with anything else.

As Xia Xingcheng dialed the number, Xia Xingyan began to feel a bit uneasy and winked to her men hurriedly. The two bodyguards grabbed Xia Xingcheng by her hands, s.n.a.t.c.hed away her phone and hung up the call which then made Xia Xingyan’s tense nerves relax a bit. If the police were really to get involved in this, not only would their illegal detention of Bao be found out, but more importantly the Xia family would lose face.

“Xia Xingyan, give me back my phone.” Xia Xingcheng glared at her younger sister and was very willing to cut her into pieces at that very moment, but she was held tight by the bodyguards and couldn’t move.

“Xingcheng, relax. A little kid like Bao couldn’t run far, could he? He might come back in a short while, don’t you think?”

Xu Hao wasn’t there now so Xia Xingyan didn’t bother to put on an act. She looked at Xia Xingcheng delightfully and took pleasure in her suffering. Xia Xingyan didn’t care where Bao went at all; what concerned her was that without the hostage to impede Xia Xingcheng, what should she do?

“Xia Xingyan, let me go. I’m going to look for Bao! I don’t care what you do to me!”

Thinking about Bao’s disappearance, Xia Xingyan’s att.i.tude was not as aggressive as before because the most important thing to her now was to leave here safely.

No one knew how anxious Xia Xingcheng was now. Every minute’s pa.s.sing was a torment to her.

Seeing that Xia Xingcheng was so anxious, Xia Xingyan suddenly felt quite content to see this and she walked slowly toward her sister and smiled ambiguously.

“Now that the kid is lost, you’re still here, and if the kid was really Sheng Yeting’s, I doubt he’d just stand by and watch you be tortured!” After Xia Xingyan finished speaking, she waved to her men, letting them take Xia Xingcheng away and her eyes were filled with satisfaction.

“Xia Xingyan, let me go! I have nothing to do with Sheng Yeting. Even if you got me, you won’t get what you want! What you are now doing is illegal. How can you be so cruel?”

In spite of Xia Xingcheng's struggle, Xia Xingyan was still unmoved. Finally, she was annoyed by Xia Xingcheng’s crying and asked her men to gag her. So, in the struggle and cries of Xia Xingcheng, she was at last taken away by Xia Xingyan.

Sheng Yeting didn't sleep very well the previous night. The little guy had been snuggling in his arms and begging for hugs, which had given Sheng Yeting a headache. Finally, the next day, the little guy woke up early and looked at his cell phone.

"Daddy, why didn't Mommy call me back?" Bao pouted his lips and looked at Sheng Yeting.

Sheng Yeting also had some doubts in his heart. Yesterday, Xia Xingcheng was obviously so anxiously looking for Bao and it was odd that she had made no move for quite some time since then.

Bao, who was beside him, began to rub against his big hand and was acting like a spoiled child again, which made Sheng Yeting irritated and immediately he called his subordinates. "Find out where the woman is."

After a while, his men returned and handed Sheng Yeting a piece of information. "It was discovered in the monitoring room that Miss Xia was taken away by them. The other side is Miss Xia's sister."

Sheng Yeting's eyes narrowed dangerously. It seemed that Xia Xingcheng's family was really complicated.

When Xiaobao saw this, he immediately cried out, "Daddy, Mommy’s been taken away by the baddies. What to do? What to do?"

The little guy was really worried. He was holding Sheng Yeting's arm while crying and rubbed his tears and snot all over Sheng Yeting.

Sheng Yeting had no choice but looked at the little fellow in his arms. He would have pushed him away because he was a freak about cleanliness, but his heart was softened again by looking at the little thing.

Even his men beside him were slightly surprised to see their boss acting this way – since when had the boss had developed such a good temper?

"Dad, mommy was taken away by the baddies. They will bully Mommy. Would you please go and save Mommy?" Bao was tired of crying and he raised his head sniveling and looked at the man in front of him with his eyes filling with prayers.

In the past, Sheng Yeting would not have allowed others to challenge his authority over and over again, but seeing the little guy's teary look, Sheng Yeting felt sympathetic for no reason. Gritting his teeth secretly, he suddenly felt that this woman was a nuisance!
