When Zaro was forming the pill this glow was getting brighter and brighter and continued shrinking until it was completed. Since it was just a regular core, Zaro finished creating the pill in a mere thirty minutes and then looked up at the woman when he was done.

The woman's jaw was wide open and just stared in disbelief at the pill and then at Zaro the whole time. For the entire thirty minutes, she was quietly looking at the process while shaking slightly in fear.

"How! How did you do that?! Just how?!" she couldn't help but cry out in disbelief.

"Even my race cannot create a pill of this quality and yet a wolf could do it perfectly fine! Wolf, travel with me! I will allow you to consume all of the cores that we find as long as you somehow teach me to do this!"

Zaro thought for a moment and then figured that this would be an extremely good idea! If he could gain an ally as strong as this, who knows what they could accomplish together! Thus he nodded his head and wagged his tail once more but with more excitement this time.

"Wonderful! Please show me how you managed to figure these things out... even though I have spent a month an a lot of cores trying to do the technique in this scroll it just didn't work out!"

Zaro nodded his head, turned around and began running towards the gap in the cave which he found the scroll. The woman was dumbstruck and followed close behind Zaro which was quite amazing as he was a wolf!

"Wolf hold on, please!"

Zaro led her through the gap inside the cave and then into the room where he found the first scroll and then sat down waiting to see her response. The woman knelt down and read the scroll realizing that he wanted to show her that she was reading the wrong version causing her to blush a little.

"Turns out I was reading the wrong scroll the whole time... thank you, my name is Lidya, a member of the Elatus."

"Zaro," he said even though he knew she wouldn't know what he meant but she had understood that he tried saying his name.

The two left the cave and returned back to the campfire while Lidya told showed him all of her cores which amazed him. Using his paw he asked her to show her own core, Lidya smiled and took off her s.h.i.+rt revealing a pink core and her chest along with it.

Zaro was trying to figure out which was more amazing, her body or her oddly colored core but just shook his head.

Lidya spent a few hours trying to figure out the technique and tried it out on two cores making Zaro annoyed as she was wasting a lot of essence! However, he saw some improvement from the first time and the second time she forged a pill and thought it would only be a matter of time before she reached his level.

Eventually, the two of them went to sleep and she had rested on his soft fur as it was much more comfortable than laying on the stone. Zaro didn't mind but was surprised to see how much trust she had in him.

The following day, Zaro and Lidya had decided to leave the cave and start hunting for some cores, this is where he realized the difference in strength between them.

Lidya was a monster and easily killed an amber core deer with a single strike from her spear. The deer had little or no time to react as the spear drilled into the deer's head.

They both shared the meat and continued hunting and although it was so much handier, Zaro did no work and obtained no beast souls because of her. Even though it was infuriating, Zaro hoped that he could get the pills that they concocted before.

Their schedule was extremely busy, they hunted at day and practiced making pills in the evening with the only rest they had was sleeping before repeating the same things. However, Zaro was curious as to why she never consumed the pills but stored them all in her bag.

A week later, they had to have created at least fifty pills with a few even being emerald! Zaro was sick of the fact that they were just lying there and decided to nudge her bag to ask about them.

"Wait until we fill the entire bag up with pills, then we can place ourselves into seclusion and gain better results when extracting the essence. Hopefully, you can understand me, your core is like a muscle, in order for it to get bigger and stronger you need to put more strain on it. The way to do that is by either consuming a powerful core or many inferior cores at the same time which is why we must wait."

What she had said amazed Zaro, the secret to gaining more power in any way is by pus.h.i.+ng your limits and if what she had just said, there must be a limit to consuming many cores at once!
