Aer and Ai were talking about their interests and hobbies which intrigued Akio who was listening from the side.

" So Aer san, Have you ever fallen in love with other boys before.."

" No..No yet my lady."

Aer blushed at the sudden question

" oh, why so!? Wouldn't you have someone you liked before .?"

" No... my lady that's thought never came in my mind."

Aer answered a bit shy on the topic.

Ai was intrigued and inquired about her family.

" So How many members do you have in a family.!?"

Aer was a bit down when she heard this question and stayed silent.

" Mom, you shouldn't touch on this topic.."

Akio whispered to his mother

Ai was surprised when she heard Akio words and turned to look toward Aer and saw her pained face which made her feel guilty.

" I'm sorry if I'm intruding in your matters so let's....."

Ai was feeling guilty for the question she asked.

" I don't mind lady. For now I have only my sister as my family member. About my Mother and father....The village where we were living in were raided by bandits and I escaped with my sister thorough my parents help and was handed some money so that we could survive further."

Aer would make pauses between her sentences which would make her expressions more pained and then she would continue.

Ai and Akio listened to her and realized that she had a very bad past.

Ai dropped her chopsticks and hugged Aer

" Poor child, you've been strong and still moving on. Your parents would be happy too when they realise that you're living good life and hadn't let their expectations down . You can let out now child think of me as your family member too."

Akio had never knew that she had a miserable past and now that he knew he felt pity for her and now had a more stronger urge to pursue her.

Aer was blanked when she received the hug but when she heard the words coming from Ai's .It was like a strong waves of water had broken the strongly built dam and her eyes started to get red and she wept.

Akio and Aer left the mansion to go back to the town but Aer wanted a breather and also wanted to calm down so she asked him to have a walk.

" Can we just have a walk for now. I need to calm down before I go back."

Aer requested Akio with a straight face.

Akio did not speak much activated gate and took her to the beach in Eashen.

"Aer, It better if we take a walk in a more less crowded place with peace."

Akio took Aer hand and pulled her toward the gate to the other end which was a beach.

The moon was hung up high with countless stars accompanying it.

The ocean reflected the lights which made the water waves s.h.i.+ne beautifully.

Aer watched the scenery which was beautiful and pleasant to the eyes. The silence was not weird with the tides rising and going down which made the surrounding peaceful.

" Isn't it beautiful Aer."

Akio answered complimenting the natural beauty.

" It is truly beautiful."

Aer answered with a smile on her face.

" Let's take our shoes off and walk the sand are smooth and soft which would make your feet comfortable."

Akio said explaining it to her

She agreed and took of her shoes.

" It's truly a nice feeling."

" Aer , If you have something weighing on your mind you could always share which will lighten your heart."

Akio commented while they were walking in the sandy beach.

" Akio you have a very caring mother , I am kinda of jealous from you ."

Aer stated with a smile.

" Yes, she is.. She even takes up time even on busy schedule to look after me when I was a child. I feel blessed now that I think of it.. that's all."

Akio told Aer.

" Yes, you are.!"

Aer said in a low voice.

" So how were your parents like.!?"

" They were the kindest people of all the people I know. We used to live in a small farming village . My mother was a diner owner and my father was a good cook. We used to have our days of fun together . Then my sister came to this world. She was a cute angel at that time .As time went on we had our normal lives I turned 14 and learned to work in the kitchen helping Papa and Mommy would serve the customers. Days were peaceful and we lived happily everyday just us and the diner but then one night.....my mother woke me up and give me a bag to carry my sister was also half asleep and then I heard noises coming from outside. Mommy and Papa led us out of the house and I saw the thing.....

The whole village was burning and bandits were in their horses chasing and slas.h.i.+ng their weapons at the people who were running. Mommy and Papa were leading us out of the village and we ran out but then... an arrow hit Papa's back. Papa was not yet down .The bandits came nearer to us at that moment Mommy and Papa stayed behind and told us to run. They stayed behind and I ran with my sister hand in me.....If I had stayed behind I could still have died with them and not felt so burdened inside but I had a sister to take care of so I ran and ran.... Soon we met a kind merchant and then settled in Reflet Town. "

Akio listened to Aer story which was a bit too much for him to process .

' Ahh.! Family is the only one who would sacrifice for each other.'

" Aer, I don't want to say much but just this word for you. You've been strong , very strong than any people I've met yet. When you are at your usual work you had a smile but I never realized that the smile had such a past. But you need not worry anymore Aer. You haven't let your parents sacrificed in vain and did well to live it."

Akio said with a serious face

Aer was teary eyed but did not cry and just wiped her tears and nodded.

" Aer, Come let's sit back and talk about what future holds for us."

Akio pulled Aer's arm and made he sit in the sand beside him.

Aer was a bit blushed now.

" Aer look at the stars they're far away from us but we can still see them from here because it s.h.i.+nes the brightest in the darkest time. It also relates you to Aer. You've shone the brightest when you were at you darkest time which also make you an amazing girl who I have again fallen in love with."

Akio pointed at the sky and then looked at her .

Aer looked into Akio's eyes and felt a wave in her heart.

" Akio.. I..."

Akio interrupted

" Aer, I know you haven't yet felt it and would not recognise me yet but don't forget If you are ever sad or in trouble you could always look for me for I will always help you with the best of my abilities and best of my heart.

It's not so because I pity your past but it's you that I have loved so I can not sit still and watch you suffer alone."

Aer was shocked and embarra.s.sed at this moment because of the word Akio said.

Aer just couldn't come up with words.

" Aer so what do you plan to do in the future.!?"

Akio asked

".....I don't know about that but I dream of someday owing a land a live a peaceful life What about you!?."

Aer said casually.

" Me, well I dream of marrying and have more than 100 kids . The kids would be running around me shouting Papa and when they grow up they will live a peaceful life without much trouble."

" Ehh."

Aer was shocked at his statement.

" Are you sure 1 or 2 wife could give birth to more than 100 children.!?"

" One of the reasons why I'm also looking for marrying a lot of wives."

Akio said seriously

" Hahaha, you're funny . Can you handle so many wives.!?"

" Don't worry about that. I'll also have you to take care of the childrens right."

" What make you think I'll look after your children."

Aer asked curious.

" If a mother won't take care of her kids then who would."

Akio said with a smile

Aer was shocked at that smug smile Akio gave.

" What are you talking about.!? "

Aer was shocked and stood up to walk away to the sh.o.r.e to touch the waves.

Akio the shouted

" Watch out for the sea urchins. They can sting you feet"

Akio was lying down and watching the sky deep in though about the story Aer shared.

* Ahhh*

Akio heard Aer scream and woke up from his train of thoughts.
