Chapter 1470: Riposte Needle

Even if Mo Yuji and the Xuanyang Emperor Lord did not fight, Wu Yu would not mind.

His goal was to use the Tundra Hell Master to return to peak condition.

And right now, he was eking through on his last vestiges of strength, winning a nervously close fight against the Tundra Hell Master.

He had not only obtained the Tundra Spirit's Lamp, he also completely replenished what he had just immolated. He also gained all of the Tundra Hell Master's thoughts, revelations, and everything that she had learned over her hundreds of thousands of years of life. They would definitely be of use to Wu Yu in the future.

The Heaven Devouring Titanic Beast had an incredible amount of things stored within him.

He already had two Hell Masters inside him, and he was back to saturation.

When Wu Yu burst out of the ice whale, he was bursting with power! At this time, Wu Yu was elevated back to his strongest state. He was definitely in much better shape than the other two!

After all, the Xuanyang Emperor Lord and Mo Yuji both had many skills, but all these battles had worn them down as well. They were only at 70 percent of their strength, which made them look worse off compared to the vigorous Wu Yu, who was kicking gustily.

This time around, many people, including the Hell Masters, saw clearly for themselves that he had not only defeated the Tundra Hell Master, but had been restored to peak condition!

Billions of aghast stares all around. They could not understand how Wu Yu had done it.

Just like his defeat of the Chakravarti Ghostly King and the Gu Huo Immortal Lord, his achievements were clouded in suspicion. Wu Yu's last move was extremely powerful as well. Especially such "self-sacrificial" moves - even if one eventually won, it was often a pyrrhic victory - why was Wu Yu so energetic?

"Impossible! How can this be!? Shouldn't he be even more tired after a battle?"

"I remember that when he defeated the Gu Huo Immortal Lord, he was drained. What was different this time?"

Just looking through the light ball, not even the Hell Masters could figure out what had happened.

They only knew that the three left were all youngsters. The Xuanyang Emperor Lord representing the 10,000 Levels of Hell, Mo Yuji representing the 8,000 Sky Palaces, and who in the world knew who Wu Yu represented? All kinds of theories sprung forth. He was still in the White Chalk Ghostly Lord's appearance, and some knew that his real identity was the Chifeng Immortal Lord. Was he the White Chalk Ghostly Lord or the Chifeng Immortal Lord? This only created even more confusion.

The Tundra Hell Master, eliminated!

Her Rainbow Pearl fell into Wu Yu's hands, of course.

After all, her entire body had been devoured, let alone this pearl.

In the glowing sphere in the middle, Wu Yu sauntered out of the ice, aglow with vitality.

His eyes swept past the Xuanyang Emperor Lord and Mo Yuji, before coming to rest on the former. As per their agreement, Wu Yu would defeat him together with Mo Yuji.

He did not mind that Mo Yuji and the Xuanyang Emperor Lord had not fought.

Currently, he needed to judge Mo Yuji's attitude. She did not seem to have wavered. When she received Wu Yu's signal, she already had the Heavenly Voices of the Nine Heavens in hand, killing intent smoldering in her eyes. Her long hair and skirt danced on their own in a windless air. The opening notes rang out, reverberating around her body at the center.

"Attack?" Mo Yuji asked Wu Yu.

Her intent was for Wu Yu to fight the close, head-on fight, while she would remain in support behind. She fought in a different style from Wu Yu. This combination would produce far greater results than two Wu Yus. She might be in the back, but her pipa music would suppress and restrain the Xuanyang Emperor Lord to a great extent.

"Of course. How could I let the lovely Immortal Mo take the frontline?" Wu Yu gave a small smile and turned back to the Xuanyang Emperor Lord. Sparks flew from his eyes.

Ring, ding, dong!

As Wu Yu attacked, Mo Yuji’s elegant fingers began plucking away at her pipa, as if providing entertainment for Wu Yu.

Pincered by two strong forces, the Xuanyang Emperor Lord's face was grim. He had been too careless. The worst case situation had actually come to fruition! Wu Yu had not only defeated the Tundra Hell Master, but had returned to normal after defeating her. Rather than tiring out, he seemed to have been re-energized.

Although he had made a bad call, he was composed enough not to panic. He dealt with it calmly! The raring-to-go Wu Yu, and the cool-and-collected Mo Yuji, with her Heavenly Voices of the Nine Heavens in hand. They did not intimidate him. The Xuanyang Emperor Lord was very confident in himself.

His steel-like face was impassive. Clad in black armor with skeletal patterns, he made for a sinister and imposing figure. He looked much more domineering and respectable than the White Chalk Ghostly Lord. Even those who had never met him before would be able to feel his radiating power - this was the son of the Beiyin Necropolis Grand Emperor!

Calm in the face of danger, with the poise of a great leader!

The Xuanyang Emperor Lord looked like he had little to no chance of victory against the Wu Yu-Mo Yuji team, especially since Wu Yu had defeated the Tundra Hell Master!

The ghostly immortals of Hell only supported the Xuanyang Emperor Lord now. If he lost, Hell would lose their pride thoroughly.

Billions of ghostly immortals had come to get this 10th Grade Mark of an Immortal King. If they ended up with nothing, it would crush them!

"If the Xuanyang Emperor Lord loses, we will be a laughing stock. There are so many of us from Hell. How can we let these immortal lords step all over us......"

"That White Chalk Ghostly Lord is clearly not the real one. Could it be that the White Impermanence's son is really dead?"

"Ganged up on, the Xuanyang Emperor Lord is doomed. He made the wrong move in this game of chess, not fighting before. He must have thought that the Tundra Hell Master could defeat the White Chalk Ghostly Lord. Of course, assuming that is the White Chalk Ghostly Lord......"

Even the ghostly immortals did not hold out much hope for the Xuanyang Emperor Lord.

All that was left to them was frustration and regret!

With all eyes on them, Mo Yuji started to play the Heavenly Voices of the Nine Heavens, while Wu Yu took the Xuanyang Emperor Lord head-on!

An epic battle broke out!

"Nine Heavens' Choral of Falling Meteors."

Mo Yuji's eyes sparkled like stars. Her pale fingers danced across the pipa's strings, and its notes tumbled out, plentiful as stars in the sky. Suddenly, they all fell, sliding past Wu Yu to hit the Xuanyang Emperor Lord!

The Xuanyang Emperor Lord had his Nine Moons Devil Emperor's Battle Axe in hand, doing his best to fight against Wu Yu. He was still trying to test Wu Yu's strength.

His battle halberd had the Nine Moons Heavenly Rule in it, and the Xuanyang Emperor Lord was like a dark god of war. The Nine Moons Heavenly Rule manifested as nine dark, menacing serpents. They flew out from the battle halberd, wrapping themselves around him. A chill filled the glowing sphere, but this was not the same icy chill as the Tundra Hell Master's. It was a chill of despair and rot!

There were nine tiers to this heavenly rule power, each stronger than the last! Each attack held nine layers of power, each one stronger than the last. Wu Yu felt like he was fighting nine different opponents!

Wu Yu's Abominable Hook Soul Chains were flailing about him, while at the same time the Vengeful Spirits Chakravarti bore down on the Xuanyang Emperor Lord's head. He focused on his Vengeful Spirits Heavenly Rule and Abominable Hook Heavenly Rule. The vengeful spirits and hooks formed a huge web that accosted the Xuanyang Emperor Lord from all sides. The constant attack prevented the Nine Moons Heavenly Rule from being used completely.

This alone would not suppress the Xuanyang Emperor Lord so easily. But at this time, Mo Yuji's Nine Heavens' Choral of Falling Meteors came to the fore. The flood of starlight battered the Xuanyang Emperor Lord alongside the sonic barrage. He struggled to withstand the simultaneous attack from three heavenly rules!

"Break!" Even though his Nine Moons Heavenly Rule was powerful enough to beat back Wu Yu's Abominable Hook Soul Chains, the Vengeful Hell Spirits Chakravarti still left him in a weakened state!

Actually, it was the Nine Heavens' Choral of Falling Meteors which affected him most.

At this time, Mo Yuji's melody suddenly changed.

"Immortal Dream Hymn."

Compared to the aggressive, upbeat music from before, this one was suddenly gentle and moving. The entire world calmed, and many of those outside even fell into a deep stupor upon hearing it. Imagine the Xuanyang Emperor Lord, who was at the heart of this......

Before, he had been accosted with direct attacks, forced to fend off Wu Yu's violent assault. And now it was a different type of offense, a weakening blow that sapped him of energy, that scrambled his autonomous realm power, and made it difficult for him to resist Wu Yu!

The Xuanyang Emperor Lord bellowed desperately to shake the effects of the Immortal Dream Hymn off and try to wake himself up. But Wu Yu brought the Vengeful Hell Spirits Chakravarti crashing down on his head for a punishing blow!

Rumble!

The two-pronged attack indeed split his head with pain. Even though he managed to defend himself with the Nine Moons Devil Emperor's Battle Axe, the Xuanyang Emperor Lord was severely injured.

This injury naturally raised all sorts of alarms.

The Xuanyang Emperor Lord knew that if this continued, he would lose without question. But he had to hold on for a chance! At this moment, he saw that Wu Yu had let off a little after injuring him seriously. He naturally saw this as the best time to strike!

As he retreated, he gripped a silver thorn about one chi long. It was thin and long, and the pointed part was like a silver needle. It was sharp enough to make one's scalp itch just by looking at it.

"Riposte Needle!" Wu Yu had a bad feeling.
