When she had finished chewing: "What have I done to Miss Li and Dr. Chen?"

Shen Mo Chou: "You still need us to tell you what you've done? You forced an engagement on brother Wei and kept Li Yu Yan and him apart all this time."

Ren Daiyu: "If that is true then why would Miss Li be apologizing to YingYing then? Did both your minds suddenly break from the weight of your vivid imagination?"

Shen Mo Chou: "How dare you accuse us of lying! Who the h.e.l.l are you to be getting involved? Was anyone even talking to you? Didn't you learn that you should only speak when spoken to?"

Yao Changying: "Hmmm. You all have very poor memorization skills. I'm friend 1 this is friend 2. Additionally, did Miss Li develop some vocal cord issues that have rendered her unable to speak for herself that requires her dogs to bark?"

Shen Mo Chou was so enraged she didn't have words: "Who are you calling a dog?! Who even are you?"

Yao Changying: "I'm friend 1 and whoever came over here to bark."

Yao Changying then turned to Li Xiuying and Ren Daiyu exasperated: "I've already introduced myself so many times. Do you think she has some sort of damage here?" She pointed to her temple.

Shen Mo Chou was about to give these people a piece of her mind when she saw the maître d and some waiting staff heading in their direction.

The maître d's gaze flickered between both groups: "Is everything okay here?"

Li Yu Yan caught a glimpse of the cold expression on Chen Wei's face. She knew that she had pushed the boundaries enough. Li Yu Yan put her arm out to stop Shen Mo Shou continuing, she had tears in her eyes and purposefully tried to look dignified to attract sympathy from the surrounding guests who were watching them intently.

She looked at Li Xiuying; "Little Sister, it appears that there has been an awful misunderstanding that has led you to keep company with strangers you have never socialized with before instead of your family members who have brought you up. I hope that when your anger calms you will be willing to reunite with us. My parents miss you terribly. I apologize to you all for disrupting your meal."

Li Yu Yan turned and held Shen Mo Chou's arm as she made her way back to her table, trying to look strong. He Meiying stayed back: "You all go ahead, I won't be a moment."

She then continued to scrutinize Li Xiuying.

Ren Daiyu: "Maître d, everything seems to have resolved. Thank you for checking."

The maître d glanced briefly at all the members of the table: "Please let me know if you require anything." With that said he walked away.

Li Xiuying's table recommenced eating and drinking completely ignoring He Meiying.

He Meiying cleared her throat to get the attention of Li Xiuying. When she did not even receive a single glance she cleared her throat louder.

Yao Changying: "Yes?"

He Meiying looked at Li Xiuying: "Li Xiuying. I believe you owe me an apology."

Li Xiuying tilted her head to the side a.s.sessing He Meiying: "Who are you?"

He Meiying's face dropped: "You can't even recognize me? I was the doctor who you disrespected and undermined."

Li Xiuying: "Can you be more specific?"

Lai s.h.i.+-on, lai Yongliang, and Qilin turned to Ren Daiyu for answers as she seemed the least crazy. She shrugged: "There have been quite a few. It's a regular occurrence."

The men: "..."

He Meiying: "The incident occurred at the supermarket. I was trying to administer emergency treatment to a patient who was choking and you swooped in and disturbed my management plan. Then you even had the audacity to lecture me before swanning off."

Li Xiuying squinted her eyes as she finally recognized the woman: " Tv Doctor."

Yao Changying was excited: "Oh is she famous? Is she in a drama I would know?"

Li Xiuying: "Reality is her drama."

Ren Daiyu let out a slight laugh before trying to maintain a straight face again.

Yao Changying eyes lite up in glee at the thought of more drama, she's was practical salivating: "What happened?"

Li Xiuying: "A middle-aged man began choking on a snack and the Tv doctor was preparing to do an emergency tracheotomy. She asked for a knife and alcohol. I stepped in and performed basic first aid. The obstruction was relieved. I advised her on the basics of first aid and the complications of a tracheotomy then resumed shopping."

He Meiying: "That was not everything that happened! I a.s.sessed the situation and saw that he was struggling to breathe, he was also panicking which was making the situation deteriorate faster. That is why I opted for a tracheotomy. You took over the situation then proceeded to lecture me and have no respect for seniority. Forget the fact that I am more senior to you but my family name alone should be enough to stand to the side with your tail between your legs. Do you know who my family is Miss Li Xiuying? No, you probably wouldn't, judging by the no-name company you keep. I'm from The He family. You are very lucky I'm so magnanimous, others with my background and qualifications wouldn't haven't tolerated your behavior to this extent."

Yao Changying: "Are you a surgeon of some sort? Do you work in anesthetics? ENT? ED?"

He Meiying: "What does that have to do with the situation?"

Ren Daiyu: "Are you a consultant?"

He Meiying: "Again, what does that have to do with the situation? I'm senior to miss Li Xiuying that's all that's pertinent to the situation."

Yao Changying looked elated: "Li Xiuying is an ED consultant. That is one of doctor Li Xiuying's many t.i.tles." She put particular emphasis on the word doctor.

He Meiying: "What?" She couldn't make sense of what she had just heard. 'How could she be a consultant at her age? And what other t.i.tles could she possibly have?'

Yao Changying: "Miss He, she's your senior Dr Li Xiuying."

Ren Daiyu: "Miss He, perhaps you should return to your table that is full of named-company."

Yao Changying was confused: "Named-company?"

Ren Daiyu: "I tried to turn a phrase because she called us no-names."

Yao Changying shook her head: "You should have said something like return to your company who are so well known and then I would have said..."

Lai s.h.i.+-on helpfully suggested: "We all know what they're known for."

Yao Changying frowned 'Who is this guy and why is he photobombing my fun?!'

Li Xiuying: "Miss He, I don't want to reiterate all the complications your non-experienced hands could have caused. You clearly do not have the ability to understand when you are wrong nor do you have the ability to reflect on your actions. These fatal flaws will cause you to lose your medical license as well as your ability to lord your seniority over others. I work at Unity hospital, 9 to 2. Your He family now knows where to find me."

He Meiying: "What?"

2 waitresses came over: " Excuse me, I'll be removing your empty dishes." They began removing the plates.

He Meiying walked past the table and Qilin said almost inaudibly: "Miss He I wonder if your father would be interested in hearing about the scene you are making?"

He Meiying looked at Qilin, she tried to remember if she had ever seen him before 'Who is he? How does he know my dad?"

He Meiying was suspicious: "How do you know my father?"

Qilin reclined in his chair: "I don't know your father. I just feel that no father would want to see his daughter making a show of herself in public."

Lai Yongliang: "Especially if the daughter is part of such a prominent family such as The He family."

He Meiying dismissed what the two men were saying: "Li Xiuying you have made a mistake today." She would have to teach Li Xiuying a lesson. Since directly talking to her hasn't worked then she would find an alternative way to make her see reason and apologize for her wrongs.

He Meiying sauntered to her table with her head held high.

Everyone at Li Yu Yan's table was busy talking about Li Xiuying and her friends.

Li Yu Yan: "It's okay, let's just try and enjoy our meal."

Shen Mo Chou: "YanYan, how can you say everything is fine? I'm part of the Shen family now that alone should make her sit quietly. Hmph."

Tseng Fei Hong nodded in agreement: "You know that she's always been like this. We shouldn't have expected her to suddenly change."

Ling Qiang: "If you knew what she was like why did you go and try to cause trouble? Didn't brother Chen and I tell you to just to ignore her?"
