The sea was calm today. No big waves come ash.o.r.e. When I walk at the old pier, I can see the bottom of the beach from the place I stand. The depth is only about 5-8 meters and the water is clear. I can see some small fishes swimming around in the water.

Ah right! After exploring the forest, it's time to explore the sea. Fortunately, when I'm exploring the forest before, I cut a plant with the hollow body on a whim. Some fishes are swimming around me, they seem not afraid with a human around them. I try to catch some, but to catch a fish with a bare hand in the sea is impossible, so I stop trying. I scrutinized the seabed for any ingredient that I might find there. After searching for 10 minutes in the deeper area, finally, I see some kelp live there. Oh, this is a good sign, I keep searching for any other ingredients, while sometimes resurfacing to inhale fresh air. The hollow tube that I carried before only can be used to snorkeling, can't be brought to diving deeper. I should carry a longer hollow tube if I'm going to dive again.

After searching further, besides kelp, I also see some oyster from Ostrea family and lobster swimming in the seabed. Well, this getting better, I even hope I can find some pearl oyster, so I can bring some pearls for my girls in the castle. They will glad if I come with this precious stone as a gift. But after looking everywhere I don't see any pearl oyster from Pinctada family. Maybe they live in the deeper part of the sea. When I'm about to finish my exploring on the sea, suddenly my eyes are catching something near the rock which previously blocking my sight.

When I come near the rock, I see something which will make me laugh heartily if I'm not in the water. It's something worth a treasure, it's seaweed! Not just green seaweed but there are also red and brown seaweed. I'm already imagining what can I made with this seaweed, like nori (from green seaweed), wakame (from the brown seaweed), and arame (from the red seaweed). With rice that I just required maybe I can make sushi with this. But this seaweed needs to dried first before it can be processed further. So I immediately pick some seaweed and bring it to the sh.o.r.e.

In modern era in my previous life, this seaweed is called uber nutritious underwater plant, with this health-boosting plant, which has major health benefits and is packed with antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and thyroid-regulating iodine, which necessary to people who have salt scarcity like in my castle. I'm planning to spend the rest of this afternoon time to collect this seaweed as much as possible, dried it under the sun, and bring to the castle to enrich the menu in the castle.

In the next diving session, I already carry a sack to put the seaweed on it. At then for the day, I manage to collect a pile of seaweed on the sh.o.r.e. Some crew that already finishing their job today also already gathering in the sh.o.r.e and looking at the seaweed that I collected there.

When I'm going to ash.o.r.e from the last diving session, Claude which already being there too asking me the question

"Henry, what is this thing? Is this edible?"

"This is called seaweed, and yes it's edible"

Without waiting me explain how to eat that, Claude already picks some seaweed and chew it in his mouth. His face immediately become green aftertaste the seaweed that he currently chews

"Pah! Pah! Pah! What's this horrible taste! Henry, you play a prank on me, don't you?"

The rest of the crew who see this scene can't hold their laughter, including me. After our laughter recedes, I finally can answer him.

"I said it's edible but must be processed first. Are you usually eat meat without fry or grill first?"

"Oh, so it needs to be processed first. I thought it can be directly eaten like vegetables".

Claude smiles shyly after hearing my explanation.

"Yes, its need to be dried first before it can be used for cooking ingredient. Okay, help me dried this seaweed in an open area near our camp"

The crews are transporting the seaweed from the sh.o.r.e to our camp as I order them. After finish arranging the seaweed in our camp, I go the small stream near our camp to clean my body from the salt water after diving for that long time.
