After spending quite much time just to bathing, I hurriedly go to soldier barrack to fetch Craig and Charles. Soldier barrack located in the outer wall from the castle, connected with a wooden gate that always open during the day and closed at night. When I already close to soldier living quarters, I see two middle-aged soldiers sit on the chairs at the veranda. They seem injured and on recuperation for healing, one with the wound on his leg and another soldier had an injury on his hand.

From previous Henry's memory, those two wounded soldiers are his escort when he gets that accident, their names are Wilfred and Wallace. When that two soldiers saw me coming, they hurriedly try to stand up and greeting me. The one with the wound in his leg seems troubled when try to stand up even though he has a stick to help him stand. I can't let them do that so I go to them instead and prohibit them to do unnecessary moves.

"Uncle Wilfred! Uncle Wallace! Please don't move too much. You still injured. Don't make too much movement that slower your recuperation"

"Please forgive us for our impoliteness, young master Henry"

"What impoliteness? You still injured and need to recuperate, instead, I feel sad because of me, both of you get injured"

"Please don't say that young master. It was our carelessness that makes young master injured. We deserved punishment but still, Castle lord didn't punish us and forgive us"

"If my father already forgives you, why I'm not forgiving you? It's okay uncle Wilfred and Wallace, it's just an accident, beyond your capability to prevent. I'm fine now, thanks to Uncle Wilson that rush to find help in the nearby village. If he late for a couple hours, maybe I already dead, please say my thanks for him when you met him"

"Yes young master, thank you for your magnanimous heart"

When I still talking with them, I see Craig comes out from a building in the corner of soldier barrack.

"Uncle Wallace and Wilfred, I still have matter to do with that person. Please get well as soon as possible and serve our family again"

"Understood, young master. We try to get well faster"

I leave them and catch Craig that seems want to go somewhere else.

"Craig! Wait!"

I call him so he will not go too far. Craig hears my call and stop his steps.

Ah right, the food for the soldier in the barrack was made by different cooks. They get their own budget for operational expenses, including the meal. So their meal is separate from food in the castle.

"You don't have to go to market. Help me in the castle kitchen and you can take your ingredients from castle storage. What do you want to make in here, anyway?

"Noodles and tacos like what young master Henry teach me at the beach"

"Good! I need you to teach how to make noodles to castle cooks, so lend me a hand"

"Me? Why not young master, who teach me how to make noodles, teach them instead? Wouldn't better if young master Henry is the one who teaches them?"

"I don't have time for that, besides I want to teach them the different recipe. You can learn too if you want"

Hearing the word 'new recipe' make Craig's eyes shone. He immediately agrees with my offer.

"Yes! Let me help you teach those cooks how to make noodles, young master"

"Good. You follow me to castle storage to take ingredients then. Wait, do you see Charles and Joe? They stay in here too, right?"

"They already left barrack first time in the morning, young master. They already very busy since we arrive here"

It seems Charles and Joe busy making the pushcart that I order him to make. Well, maybe this knife making shall be done in another day. So I take Craig to the storage room to take ingredients that he needs, and ingredients for the food I want to teach for the cooks for lunch.

I arrive at the storage room with Craig shortly, he looks at the goods keep in there with excited eyes.

"Young master, can I really take the ingredients from here?"

"Yes, what about that?"

"I need ingredients to make food for around 200 soldiers in the barrack"

Ugh! That much? I offer him to take ingredients from storage room without thinking how much he will need. Now it's too late to regret it.

"Did the ingredients in soldier barrack already depleted? Nothing left to cook?"

"Well, there're still some left but in insufficient amount young master"

"Ugh, alright, just take as much as you need to cook today. Consider that as a reward for helping me teaching how to make noodles for castle cooks. But you will get that later, you must help me first"

"That's obvious, young master"

"Okay, the new recipe I want to teach to the cooks called curry. It's a dish that requires many spices which also make this dish rich with flavor. But before making a curry dish, first, we must make curry paste from these spices"

I take the spices that I need to make curry paste from the spice storage room. Those spices are:

ground coriander, ground c.u.min, ground turmeric, ground ginger, ground black pepper, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, and cayenne pepper or ground chilies

"Please remember these spices Craig, this spices only for making the curry paste. We still use other ingredients as well"

"Wow, so many spices just for a dish. Usually, we only cook using salt, sugar, ginger or pepper and chili at most"

"Those spices would make this dish taste different, Craig. Let's take other ingredients to make this curry dish"

I take Craig to another room to pick other ingredients to make a curry dish. Craig follows me with spices that I pick to make a curry dish later.
