“Is today your birthday?” Su Qianxun asked meekly. Although he appeared very scary now, she felt a pang in her heart when looking at him.

Su Qianxun shut the part.i.tion and sat back down quietly with her eyes fixed on the window. She immediately asked the driver to stop when she saw a cake shop.

After the driver stopped the car by the roadside, she said she had to go down to buy some things and asked them to wait for a while. Ye Gu was worried and wanted to follow Su Qianxun, but she rejected his offer.

After Su Qianxun walked in and saw the array of beautiful cakes, she chose a smaller one and asked the shop a.s.sistant to pack it up for her.

After she returned to the car, she placed the cake on the car seat and continued to look out the window. It was already quite late and a lot of shops had already closed, but they pa.s.sed by a small shopping mall that was still open.

“There's no need for that, I only need to buy one item. I'll be out very soon.” Su Qianxun ran into the mall after she said that.

The young girl suddenly flashed a bright smile, took out a rose and gave it to him, “Happy birthday, big brother!”

On the way, he was stopped a few more times by others to wish him a happy birthday.

When Ye Gu found Su Qianxun, she was holding a tiny cake in her hands, and there was a lit candle in the middle of the cake. She flashed a bright smile when she saw him walking over.

“Fortunately, today is still not over yet though it is a little late. Although there's no big party, there are still so many wishes for you! Ye Gu, happy birthday!” Su Qianxun looked at him with deep sincerity.

Ye Gu stared at the young woman standing near him, at her gentle and beautiful face behind the candlelight. She was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, and the most beautiful existence ever on earth. She had completely melted his rock-hard heart….

“Children, let's sing a birthday song to this big brother, alright?” Su Qianxun asked those younger and older children who were eating the sweets she gave them.

“Alright!” The children replied unanimously.
