They were surrounded by Spirit Stone Worms in all directions.

Two other members stayed in the rear, fighting back the worms that were following them.

The narrow tunnel was blocked by the dead bodies of the worms, which made them think they were safe.

Xuecheng Team went on killing the worms, guarding the others from the front and the back. They had no problem fighting a couple of worms at a time, but they were only human, and would get tired eventually.

They were already covered with worm bites and were getting weaker.

Theyre not only disgusting, their bites are venomous as well! Ye Han panicked. What should we do now? Xuecheng Team cant hold them back for much longer

Shan Jingfei was furious. She glared at Xuecheng Team and complained, I thought Qiu Zeyu would find me some capable students. Theyre not that useful, after all!

Ye Hongxue hadnt been all that keen to help Shan Jingfei in the first place.

They had only accepted the request to obtain a certain number of crystal cores, not protect some girl.

They were doing these students a favor. They werent obliged to help them out.

Ye Hongxue smirked. Fine. If were not good enough, do it on your own!
