Within the next few seconds, Lillian's scowled in annoyed expression.

"Are you kidding me?" She said with the most annoying expression she could have ever had.

Anna relaxed hearing it while Diego felt confused. He couldn't figure out whether Lillian's acting or not. Even so, it didn't bother him very much.

"Are you sure? You had me tensed up, honey" Anna wailed in relief.

"Then, why did you keep staring at her?" Diego still went on.

Lillian's inner mind exploded practically wanting to rip of Diego's lips and burn them in the fire. However, she can't blame him for it was her mistake that the whole cla.s.s found out when Mr. Seth caught her staring at Giselle. Lillian Grey mentally facepalmed herself.

"I don't understand why do you guys have to make it a big issue the fact that I watched this funny girl who kept dozing on and off during Seth's boring cla.s.s," Lillian exclaimed.

She continued.

"Honestly, I got too bored, and I kept watching everyone. When my eyes landed on Giselle, Mr. Seth happens to notice me. He came into this conclusion for which I became responsible. Now, if you both can let go of this silly issue and focus on helping me, will you?" Lillian shouted for help.

Her snapping worked and both, Anna and Diego moved on, completely ignoring Giselle.

'Thank G.o.d,'- Lillian Grey relaxed.

"So, what is bugging you now?" Anna asked curiously.

Anna continued.

"What's bothering you?" She asked.

Before answering, Lillian had to take time in thinking deeply about the situation.

Although she didn't tell them that it was Giselle who confessed, Lillian's mind quickly occupied images of Giselle. A slight tint of a blush appeared around the corner of her cheeks. She tried to distract herself.

'What's happening to me?'

'And, why am I blus.h.i.+ng just thinking about this girl?'

Lillian started questioning her inner feelings.

Looking at the confused Lillian, Anna decided to step up the game.

"We won't go anywhere just by sitting and moping around. Let me ask you a few questions." Anna declared.

Lillian thought it was a good idea. With this, at least they can feel like they're heading out somewhere.

"Go ahead" Lillian gave permission.

Anna took a few seconds before speaking.

"Alright, so what do you think about this person?" Anna asked.

Lillian replied nonchalantly. She answered that 'the person' is someone she knew existed but never bothered to approach. Lillian also added that she thinks that 'this person' is a soft and calm type of personality.

"Lilly, honey, I am not asking you to explore her character, but still you're doing okay. Let's move on. Just let me know what you feel from your heart. Okay?" Anna requested. Lillian agreed.

"So, as you said, you knew this person existence which means that have you paid attention to their presence till now?"

"… hmm, actually no. I did know that person when s-"Lillian feared of revealing the gender.

'Oh snap, focus Lilly.' – She thought.

"I met that person one time and then never really focused or paid attention." Lillian voiced out clearing her throat.

By now, Anna stood up, circling the vacant s.p.a.ce like an investigator/detective working on a criminal case. She kept circling until the next question and continues to move after hearing Lillian's answer.

"Are you triggered, now that 'the person' established their feelings?" Anna asked.

"Triggered?" Lillian stared in a daze.

"You know, like wanting to see them all the time, trying to look at them, and checking if 'the person' is either disturbed by the confession or not," Anna explained.

For a moment, Lillian felt like a criminal who had done the deed. She did felt all those feelings of checking upon Giselle while the cla.s.s was in session, kept staring at her, and finally, Lillian did felt bad towards how comfortable Giselle behaved after making such a 'touching confession.' The answer is evident but, she felt hard to admit it. But she can't fool her friends who are trying to help her sort out these new emotions.

With a heavy heart, she agreed. Anna's movement paused, and the circling around stopped as she gazed at the fl.u.s.tered Lillian.

'This girl, she is thinking about that person. But, I'm not sure if she is capable of loving and cheris.h.i.+ng them. I need to clear her dummy brain and make her realize what her true feelings are.' – Anna thought and decided.

"Okay. So, you do have the basics of getting affected by the confession which makes you one of us, a human being. I a.s.sumed that you wouldn't be able to discover these feelings and so you will die without falling in love or so. I'm proud of you, baby" Anna said while pinching Lillian cheeks like a proud mother.

Lillian rolled her eyes signaling to move on or else something disastrous might happen. So, Anna continued her circling.

"Fine, getting disturbed by the confession is normal. Let me ask you this next, Diego, honey, can you close your ears?" Anna requested.

"Why?" Diego replied furiously.

"Honey, for me, please. We got to extract all sorts of information from this black hole called Lillian Grey. Please." Anna begged.

"Fine," Diego agreed; shoving his hands into his ears tightly. He can't hear anything else around him. He looked like one of the famous trio monkeys.

"Lilly, baby, now, are you having any wet dreams with this person. Like, are you dreaming about them in a romantic way which might lead to a steamy dream where you guys do make love and stuff?" Anna asked in serious mode.

Lilly's eyes widened. Till now, she never did imagine Giselle with herself as that and nor did she had any desire to think so. Lillian desperately tried to think and only failed. Realizing this cleared her mind a little as she kept discovering the cause of these abnormal behaviors.

"Nope," Lillian replied. Anna noticed the change in her state.

"So, never really thought about them in such a way or even tempted to think like that, huh?" Anna wanted confirmation.

"YES. Even if I tried right now to think it doesn't come out or should I say that I don't think about 'this person' in such a way." Lillian replied.

Anna exhaled, while Lillian removed Diego's hands and let him know what happened.

'She only asked if I had any romantic, s.e.xual dreams about 'this person' and I replied no." Lillian explained.

Diego smirked at Anna for winning over their cute little battle.

Despite being a guy, Anna never let him when she and Lillian talk about the mature stuff. Anna felt that it might be uncomfortable even though they're friends. But, Diego knows that Lillian isn't a normal girl who's shy talking about the matured content. Instead, Lillian and Diego used to have their own dirty jokes battle behind Anna's back. Poor Anna is left to discover this secret about her friends.

"You guys are trash." Anna screeched.

"I know I am, but not sure if Diego's trash. He sure looks like a gentleman." Lillian replied sarcastically.

Diego showed his proud smile while Anna rolled her eyes in disinterest.

"Look, Lillian, Listen to me. What you're feeling is completely normal, and just a reciprocation to that person's confession. If it changed the way you see them and feel these dreams, maybe then, we can take a step ahead. But, in your case, you feel a little b.u.mpy since it's your first time hearing someone who had fallen in love with you. I would say it will gradually disappear, I mean, those weird behaviors." Anna advised.

"So, I'm not turning into a weird person?" Lillian asked like a child.

"Honey, you're already a complete weird person. Don't worry and chill out. We're there with you." Anna said caressing Lillian's cheeks.

Lillian remained calm.

Anna looked at her with sympathy, opened her arms and gave a tight warm hug.

"Only a day has pa.s.sed since you received this person's proposal. So don't worry and relax. If your feelings persist, then we can discuss the next steps. It's completely normal, honey." Anna comforted tenderly.

Lillian's face brightened by her actions.

"Maybe you shouldn't have rejected them on the spot. Then, you could have had the time to think about your feelings and let them know later if they can have a chance or not." Anna suggested slyly.

"Nope, I am not ready for loving someone Anna. Maybe, never," Lillian admitted in vain.

"Lilly, do not speak like that. I, honestly believe that you will be able to love someone and you, you have to wait until you find that person. Because once you do, your life will change completely. Everyone is born to be loved and not left alone. There's someone out there for you, I know it. You have to travel your way through to find them, and once you do, you will become complete." Anna said giving another hug.

"I didn't know you were this mature, Anna" Diego stated in wonder.

He used to protect her in the past whenever Anna came to him crying or in fear of some random guy who's. .h.i.tting on her. But, the person in front of him, right now, is grown into a fine woman who's matured for her age. Diego felt proud but hid it inside.

Instead, he only joined in their hug. The trio hugged for a long time.
