'How can she be so calm after making her confession?'

'That girl, is she really in love with me?'

'Or is it a prank that she's pulling on me?'

Lillian got stuck inside a maze of Giselle's action from yesterday. With a lot of stress, Lillian couldn't concentrate on her math test either.

"Times up, students. The first person of each row collects the papers." Mr. Seth's loud voice broke the quiet cla.s.sroom.

"So, how did you do?" Anna turned around to ask Lillian with a bright face.

Lillian guessed that Anna had done great from her bright grin. On the other hand, Diego looked normal. Probably, he did a good job too.

Lillian frowned as she fell on the desk.

"Tell me, how did you do, Lilly?" Anna pampered.

"Extremely bad that Mr. Seth will be having a panic attack while correcting my answer sheet," Lillian mumbled with her face down hiding inside her arms.

"Why?" Anna and Diego asked at the same time.

"What test did we have?" Lillian questioned.

"Math" Diego replied curiously.

"Well, I thought it was chemistry, and I just couldn't figure it out," Lillian replied, her eyes gazing at Giselle's direction as if she meant to say those words for that girl.

"You are going to die!!!" Diego wailed.

"You are dead meat soon." Anna joined in too.

Both of them looked terrified at Lillian's action. It only elevated their doubts on Lillian and her weird behavior.

"Yeah, I'm preparing my heart for it," Lillian answered bluntly.

Mr. Seth had borrowed the next period too. The whole cla.s.s felt exhausted hearing the update as they started gossiping with each other until Mr. Seth's palm hit the table making a loud noise.

The kids feared him, and he knew it.

"Now, I know all you lazy people are complaining about me taking over the next period. But, I don't care. I've got the math to teach you fools. So pay attention, or you may end up getting another test right now." Mr. Seth announced.

The kids stopped gossiping, and Lillian woke up from her desk. She looked over at Giselle and saw her not getting bothered by Mr. Seth.

She chuckled a little.

Mr. Seth is a beast when it comes to teaching Math. He becomes pa.s.sionate and loud. The topic was Calculus, and he'd pouring down his knowledge to the cla.s.s. Meanwhile, the students in the cla.s.s, a few listened attentively, a few kept gossiping whenever Mr. Seth turned to face the board, some ate during cla.s.s, some played games, some slept, and some tried to control their sleep.

Giselle is one of them. She tried hard to control her sleep, and it showed on her face clearly.

For Lillian, she had entertainment in the name of watching Giselle and her cute actions to control from falling asleep.

'Did I just enjoy looking at her?' Lillian thought.

To her great shock, she did enjoy looking at this girl, whom she had missed up until now. But it isn't her fault, Lillian Grey has a wild personality, and not everyone could handle her way of thinking except for Anna and Diego.

Diverting herself, and snapping out of the thought to get back to this new girl that came storming into her life. She wanted to know more about Giselle. As she kept gazing at her, Giselle's head suddenly dropped down as she fell deep into hibernation. She quickly lifted her head in fear and checked if Mr. Seth had noticed. He didn't.

She flipped her head both the sides to check if anyone had seen her sleeping and gradually her eyes landed on Lillian Grey, who was facing the board with her hand covering her lips. Giselle felt the urge to continue her stare but got scared of Mr. Seth. She turned back to face the board and tried hard to listen to the lecture.

She looked down at her notes and felt a thud on her chest. All it had was Giselle's scribbling. Her sleep didn't let her take notes. She sighed in dismay thinking about 'Who to ask for notes?'

On the other hand, Lillian Grey tried best to control her laughter. She might burst into loud laughter and so, covered her mouth and bit her tongue to stop from laughing out loud. The cause of her laugh was Giselle.

Lillian's eyes fixed on Giselle keenly. When the girl's head fell from dozing off, Lillian jerked from her seat lightly. Her lips widened to reveal a smile. And when Giselle got up to look around, Lillian quickly diverted her vision. She couldn't control her laughter as she found Giselle's action to be hilarious.

She bit her tongue hard to make her feel the pain, and so her laughter stopped. She glanced; the corner of her left eye to check on Giselle who looked upset at her notes.

Lillian can deduct that Giselle had forgotten to take notes.

'Omg, she is freaking hilarious!'

'I won't be able to withstand it another second if I hadn't bite my tongue.'

'Gosh'

Lillian snickered, still covering her lips to hide her smile. For a while, she focused on the cla.s.s and tried to decipher Mr. Seth's pa.s.sionate teaching.
