That cant be helped when you die the moment you put your head out of the trench And if you dont, you die too because the trench is being bombarded by magic anyways. The NPC I was talking to just a second ago is now a lump of meat This is too much.

-> Greatly weaken the kingdoms factions by killing the important nobles in broad daylight.
-> Blaspheme the corpses of the Empires troops and especially of their general to make sure the Empire wont step back after the first major defeat.
-> Empire goes all out on starting the war.
-> Players get excited about it and join the fray.
-> Makes use of the opportunity when everyone is away from the Empires capital to raid it.
