7 First Encounter

"My dad had to pull some strings and I guess I learned that from him as well and to be honest the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," Kygo replied proudly.

Anki also did his fair share of work as he got some cla.s.sified doc.u.ments concerning the unusual disappearances, which was gruesome, as the information about Jimmy Stringer getting raped and killed was on the front page, in bold. As for Summer, well she did nothing apart from binge-watching anime, which she proudly bragged as she had finally finished watching all the shows that were recommended to her.

Anki also got a radio to keep them up to date with everything that was going on.

"This is awesome," Thought Kigen as he finally regained some hope on saving his little sister.

A few minutes later, remember when the whole gang said they were going to help in the search and rescue of Pyxie? Well, they ended up playing UNO. The intensity of the game was palpable; if someone dropped a pin you could have heard it as clear as day. Moments later, the radio started transmitting,

*Tsssst* "Eghh, this is Agent Cobb, we got another report of someone being taken hostage. Any able body please get the f.u.c.k over here we can't let another one die." *Tssst*

Everyone stared into each other's faces,

"UNO!" Anki exclaimed after finally being able to win.

"f.u.c.k you Anki!" Kygo bitterly retorted back after losing the last few games.

"Sorry dumba.s.s, I win." Summer quickly countered Anki's previous statement as he had committed a mistake.

"Get off your a.s.ses and let's go!" Kigen shouted from across the room.

From what they understood from the full transmission, was that the location given by Cobb was an abandoned house situated near a lake not far from Kigen's house. You could probably make it there in less than ten minutes, that is if you run.

"No time to run, take grandpa's car," Kigen suggested as the tone of his voice clearly showed impatience.

"Do you know how to drive this old a.s.s car?" Summer asked concerned about her safety.

"Of course, I do." He replied, then mumbled, "I don't."

"We are screwed," Anki shouted out loud in a dramatic tone.

After the debate about driving was over, Kigen miraculously managed to drive them safely to the lake. Whilst getting out, he rhetorically stated, "Do I or do I not know how to drive?" Meanwhile, in the background, Kygo was throwing up with Summer patting his back.

At first glance, Cobb and Jay were already present on the scene, alone and without any backup. The manor itself was in pretty good shape considering its age for an old Victorian-style mansion. However, all the windows were broken by kids from the neighborhood. Adding to that, the paint around the whole house had already started to decay with a little portion falling onto the ground like leaves in autumn. Overall the structure seemed st.u.r.dy enough. But the vegetation which began to grow thanks to the forest situated at the back, made it into a more haunted styled mansion.

"Help me! Someone," A kid's voice could be heard from inside, another more manly sounded voiced replied with, "Shut the f.u.c.k up kid, no one can help you now. Going into the forest like red riding hood wasn't a great idea now was it?"

For some reason, Kigen could feel the presence of everybody inside. "There are three guys and a little boy inside." He stated using a serious tone.

"What the heck?" She fired back, perplexed by what he just said.

"Let's go meet up with my uncle, he might help us."

Subsequently, Kigen met up with Cobb who was hiding behind a car directly parked in front of the main entrance and told him that he was able to perceive the presence of the people inside and that it was also very ominous. Their intent of killing sent s.h.i.+vers down his spine.

Without any notice, two out of the three guys rushed out of the house in hopes of catching everyone off guard. That move was so random and reckless that even if in a million years were to pa.s.s Cobb could not have predicted it.

"What is happening, this feeling again." He asked himself out of habit but knew what was going on.

His eyes started changing color alongside the retina which began to change its shape. The left cornea, which is usually black became white, while the other stayed white but started glowing and emitting a white aura. Soon after a white aura began emitting from his body forming a pair of white horns paired with a halo over his head.

The transformation was faint and blurry, but you could just make it out if you paid attention. On top of that, on his back, it seemed like some wings were also sprouting out which were all in spirit form as the transformation wasn't yet complete.

After the white aura that surrounded his body was finished creating all those outlines, most of the aura which was concentrated on his back like wings converged around his wrists and just like that it was gone, all that remained was the whiteish transparent halo and horns. With energy emitting from his wrists, Kigen was beginning to understand this power he possessed. However, it was only the tip of the iceberg as this power was only the start of something truly great which someday may bring havoc and despair. All that happened in an instant.

In a blink of an eye, Kigen got everyone to a more secure place which was about four meters away behind his grandad's car. Now all that was left was the two creepy looking guys. They didn't even notice that Kigen managed to get everyone to safety, as to them he didn't even move, the speed at which he traveled created a mirage.

"This can't be, is it one of the legendary Tawakari," Mysterious bad guy number one shouted, petrified.

"Don't be stupid, that clan died a long time ago even though they were the strongest with some even going as far to say that they had powers rivaling the G.o.ds. Even with all that supposed power, they all ended up in graves, pathetic." Bad guy number two replied trying to calm the other guy.

Kigen was now menacingly standing alone and staring at the weird looking guys with killing intent emitting all over his body. His first battle was finally going to take place.
